    What now for Nick Dinsmore?

You can blame HHH for most of that, obviously.

    WWE Raw V.S. Smackdown!

Yukes thinks chop battles, horrible commentary, and pointless voiceovers are more important than that and better low mid-card wrestlers in their video games.

    The Mystery Woman

I hope he doesn't have throat cancer like Heenan had. Maybe it's just laryngitis or a sore throat from a cold.

    I just went on a 3-day sabbatical

The same scenario happened to me in December of 2002 because of North Carolina's severe icestorm and I couldn't watch Smackdown. I was very impatient about the power company getting the power turned back on and it took from early Thursday morning until Sunday morning sometime around 9:00 when the power company FINALLY turned my power back on.

    The Mystery Woman

Jericho said something along the lines of "Well, that's the only other strange woman I've seen, besides Chyna."

I still don't think Yukes will bother changing Orton's theme now, but you never know.

    WWE Raw V.S. Smackdown!

Orton's new music won't make it into the game in time because Evolution just kicked him out a few weeks ago. As for Palumbo, I'm assuming that Yukes will just give him his F.B.I. look since Yukes is notorious for not updating certain wrestlers with their attire from the year a new Smackdown game is made (ala Steven Richards in the blue attire with shorter hair from 2002 on HCTP, a 2003 game). Palumbo, though, was in the F.B.I. up until March or April, when he was drafted to Raw, and WWE didn't really use him much until just a few months ago on Heat. Not that I care, since Nunzio should have replaced Palumbo anyway.
  8. Which lead to.....this: "I did it......for De Rock! I didn't do it for me, I did it for De Rock! I ran over.......Stone Cold!" Rikishi as a main-eventer, ugh. Edit: Wait, wasn't Rikishi pushed BEFORE Kreski left in November? It seems like he was. My mistake, ignore my above post.
  9. Nah, take it one step further. Everyone in the crowd wearing suits, or waiting outside the arena wearing suits. Knowing Vince, he'd see the fans wearing suits and say "Those look nice on all of you...in fact, they look so nice that I was just thinking about enforcing the dress code ON THE FANS as well!"

    The Nation

...and Randy Savage will challenge Hogan to a charity wrestling event on the same day and proceed to make another shitty "Be A Man, Hulk"-type rap song since he didn't show up at the event to face Savage.

    Real Life Heat

Jericho mentioned all of that in a 1999 commentary on his official website from what I remember. Hell, he even said things along the lines of "Stealing Albert's (as he was known at the time before the A-Train name came about) comb" and saying that he'd be headed back to WCW in early 2000 to team up with Bobby Duncum Jr. as the new Conquistadores. All I know is that it was a weird commentary to say the least, and he wrote it sometime after he gave Chyna a black eye on Smackdown in November.

    Carlito Carribean Cool

The Christian reign wasn't a cowardly champ run. He just bitched about being overlooked. The "INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION HERE!!!" line is the dead giveaway, too.

    Carlito Carribean Cool

Sounds like another Spike Dudley. Why have TWO cruiserweights that wrestle like heavyweights? Oh yeah, WWE logic. *knocks himself upside the head*

Who's Looks Have Deteriorated The Most?

Possibly from steroids, since he used to look smaller in 1999, and then gradually bulked up over the years, grew a bigger jaw, and had to get his head shaved bald on PPV in 2002 since his hairline was receeding.

    Does Anyone Notice The Trend?

I think I remember sometime in 2001 when Raw was in Long Island and the crowd didn't even pop that much for Mick Foley, considering he's FROM Long Island. Of course, the same can be said about the recent Edge/Toronto Summerslam incident, whereas it never really happened in the past with Edge for some reason.

Final Roster for PS2's WWE SmackDown vs. RAW

Just like I said a while ago, along with too many other features being added (some are welcome, some aren't) and the Legends. Wrestlers like Paul London and Billy Kidman don't even use catchphrases on WWE TV since they don't talk that much on-camera, which is why I question why Yukes even bothered adding the voiceovers in the first place.

Who's Looks Have Deteriorated The Most?

With the way he looks now, I don't think he'll look any younger without the mustache considering his leathery orange-tanned skin that he's had over the years and his wrinkled face.
  20. He'll job to Chuck Palumbo next week on Raw or Heat, I guess.

Final Roster for PS2's WWE SmackDown vs. RAW

In that case, they'll have to take it out of the next game. It still seems odd that Yukes hasn't included the current champions in WWE as of Summerslam, though.

Final Roster for PS2's WWE SmackDown vs. RAW

I'm assuming that the reasons some of the other wrestlers were left out were because of the pointless addition of the Parking Lot Brawl, the meaningless wrestler voiceovers, Sable being left in even though she's been released from WWE recently, the pointless additions of Hardcore Holly, Chuck Palumbo, Garrison Cade, Old School Kane & Taker, etc., the addition of other features that most of us probably don't care about (Face/Heel mechanics, chop battles, etc.), and the fact that Yukes may not follow wrestling as closely as we do to know who the current champions in WWE are (or, like I said, their recent favoritism of certain low mid-card wrestlers, just like Vince favors JBL as a main-eventer over Eddie Guerrero). I don't know if those are actually the reasons, but remember that the last time the wrestlers in the WWE games had voiceovers, it was back during the ACK-Lame WWF days, and their Warzone and Attitude rosters weren't very up-to-date, either. I'm not sure if I feel like buying SD vs. Raw anymore or not, but if the CAW mode has improved and there are more slots, along with non-frustrating gameplay, then I might still consider it.

Final Roster for PS2's WWE SmackDown vs. RAW

Chances are that the CAW mode will STILL only have 32 slots to create missing WWE wrestlers, since Yukes is so damn stupid anyway. Bleh. I wish some other video game company was developing much better WWE games that would certainly include Noble and London, since Palumbo and Garrison Cade aren't worth a damn as wrestlers in real life. Don't get me wrong, I liked HCTP, and I thought it was a big improvement over the earlier Smackdown games, but I think Yukes REALLY dropped the ball this year by including more wrestlers that no one will really play as and yet still continuing to leave out better low mid-card wrestlers like Noble, London (although now he's one half of the Smackdown Tag Team Champions), Nunzio, etc. I think Yukes has become too much like WWE as far as favoritism of wrestlers is concerned.
  24. Nicely executed swerve on Orton from Evolution. Although I still don't care for a long Orton/HHH feud that we're about to see.

TNA News & Notes from the 8/16 Observer

Yeah. Although it did get people to talking nonetheless, whereas Jarrett constantly having the TNA World Heavyweight title (is that what they're calling it now since they're no longer a part of the NWA?) is repetitive and boring. Jake using his snake as a penis though was almost vomit-inducing.
