How much do you want to bet that he'll say that The Undertaker "wasn't feelin' it" again? *rimshot*
-
Well, Jake's drunk "Deeeeee, Deeeeee, Teeeeee..........." promo at least seemed more entertaining than Jarrett's "Ah'm the World Heavyweight Champion, no one can dethrone the King of the Mountain, blah blah blah" promos he's been doing for a while now.
-
If he'd start improving his ringwork again, he might be worthy enough to get the title. However, Jarrett obviously still wouldn't allow Raven to have the title if last year is any indication.
-
Yeah. The only thing "legendary" about "Old School" Kane is the fact that WWE managed to screw up the story of Kane's character so many times over the years that the only way WWE could revive his character was to unmask him, and they even fucked that up to an extent last year as well when Shane McMahon constantly kicked his ass.
-
...and also writing some of the weirdest "poetry" ever.
-
Maybe so, but he also didn't even have a good match with Styles earlier this year because of the pointless and slow armwork Raven did.
-
Yeah, and now he seems useless because his ringwork isn't what it was just last year, and because of that, I've been trying to come up with a different username. I know there's a name change topic in the Site Feedback forum, but I'm still trying to think of a new username.

It's HHH. What did you expect?

McMahon/Costas Interview Named One Of The Worst

JR busts out a familiar phrase from 1999:"Aww, son of a bitch!" Lawler:"OK, JR, just calm down." -
I still hope the chop battle doesn't become too frequent when I'm wrestling the CPU like someone else said.

Booker T/ John Cena at SummerSlam...

Damn, some of the wrestlers' faces are starting to look weird in the screenshots. Jericho's eyes look small and evil. RVD and JBL for some reason have odd eyebrows. I honestly thought that Rene Dupree at first was Danny Doring in short purple tights.
-
Sounds weird. On that note, can anyone else come up with other odd new concepts for popular soft drinks made by cola companies? Sprite Strawberry Mello Yello Purple (it would probably taste like a watered-down, grape-flavored Welch's drink) Pepsi Peach Sierra Mist Raspberry

Oh. I already read about Solidus being one of the bosses in MGS2, but thanks for clearing that up anyway.
-
I've never played the game. I've just read about it, and I'm glad that I didn't buy it. So Solid turns into a good guy later, then?
-
Too bad he didn't mention the REAL disappointments of the game from what I've read: Cutscenes galore and having to play as that bitch named Raiden instead of Solid Snake (who for some reason was a bad guy later on in MGS2).
-
Yeah. I'd hate to see Teddy Long pull a Mick Foley on Booker T by making him defend the U.S. title in unfair situations just to benefit the face challengers (like handicap matches, gauntlet matches, etc.) and other faces on Smackdown.

The Velocity Thread for the last day in July

His opponent might call him "S.O.B." during a match. Therefore, he still wouldn't be taken seriously. -
Jericho's hair still needs to be updated, since he's no longer a heel.

So they're putting in the pointless Parking Lot Brawl that only happened last year between Eddie Guerrero and John Cena and ONCE AGAIN leaving out the 60-minute Iron Man match? Sounds like fucked-up logic considering that 60-minute Iron Man matches have happened more often than Parking Lot Brawls in WWE. But hey, that's Yukes for you.
-
Is there any chance that Noble, Nunzio, and Paul London WILL be in the game before the cut-off date? Or does everyone else think that Yukes will make us suffer by having us to create them again?

The OAO Raw Thread - 7/26/04 - 60 Minute Iron Man
Silence replied to DerangedHermit's topic in The WWE Folder
I liked the Benoit/HHH Iron Man match last night on Raw as well. I'm glad it didn't turn out to be a total disappointment like the Angle vs. Lesnar Iron Man match on free-TV did just a year ago. -
Too bad Long became a lot more annoying when he managed Jindrak, though. Yelling "Show it! Show it! Take it off! Take it off!" and "Myyyyy, my-my-my-my!" for a generic wrestler showing off his abs was enough to piss me off, and not in a good way, either. Still, if only WWE would let Long talk normally and not have to saddle him with shitty catchphrases, then I wouldn't mind him as the new Smackdown GM, just as long as he's impartial. However, there might be a slim chance of that happening since WWE has usually had either a pro-face or a pro-heel authority figure in recent years.

I believe it. He's practically been Heat alumni in WWE since 1999 and then once again in 2001 or 2002 (because he was getting somewhat of a push as an RTC leader in 2000, but it still made him look like a joke), I think.
