Add this to your "BAKA" list: Harris vs. Jarrett: The Rematch.
-
I was just under the impression that even though Styles, Daniels, Lynn, and Raven were under no-ROH TNA contracts that Styles would have been pissed off about the decision since he likes wrestling in ROH more than TNA, but I guess since TNA told him to distance himself from ROH, it meant that Styles had no way out of the deal like you said, which I should have known in the first place.
-
You could be right. He might not be leaving yet, anyway, because there hasn't been an update on AJ's situation with TNA lately.
-
I didn't like Harris vs. Raven either, not only because Harris can't work a long match with psychology in it, but also because he gets yet another pointless title shot against Jarrett next week and Raven has once again been screwed over by TNA. It is odd though that Raven hasn't had a really good singles match in a while in TNA, but he's been through so many hardcore-type matches over the years that it's just now taking a toll on him. Didn't anyone else think that judging by the way Styles was used tonight that he's on his way out of TNA and back to ROH? Everything from trying to get Russo to put him in the match against Raven (with Russo refusing) to AJ's sullen look on his face in the lower left corner of the screen while watching Harris vs. Raven. I may be just speculating, but AJ has said that he prefers working ROH over TNA, so who knows what'll happen.

What was it exactly that GMS said back in 2001 at the old WWF New York with Steve Blackman before GMS got fired from WWE for smuggling drugs across the Canadian border? Here's my interpretation: GMS:"Yeaaahhhh, Ah'm awn drugs, dawg, Ah'm awn drugs!! YAY-YAY-YEAAAAHHH, GO, STEVE!!!! HUYAAAAAHHHHH!!" *Blackman looks bored the whole time*
-
Possibly he is, since Dinsmore's stupid enough to think a retarded character will get him far in WWE.
-
Unfortunately, it seems like WWE's trying to compete with the "I'm Still Alive" documentary with the way the report sounds about Angle getting "killed off" by The Big Show, because Angle will be back quickly like nothing happened just like Kane and HHH were from their on-TV "deaths".
-
How was it awful? I mean... the crowd was chanting "Y2J" at volumes not heard since 2001. I guess everyone in the arena thought it was awful too. The slut references got old in 2001, and I feel like I'm listening to them all over again when it comes to face Jericho.
-
Speaking of that, what the hell has Kanyon been up to lately? I haven't seen him on TNA yet, nor have I read anything about him working in other indy promotions. Is it the dreaded no-compete clause?
-
It was OK, though Jericho's face promo was atrocious as usual. What was the point in HBK getting the pin instead of Benoit, since he's the Champion?

I was hoping Snow wouldn't say that this week since he said last week on Heat that it would have been the final appearance of the Babagadoosh Brothers (meaning he'd no longer say "Babagadoosh" when referring to jobbers ever again). I guess he lied because even after I predicted he'd say "Babagadoosh", he still said it.

I do. Since last year, I've been using hair straightener so the front part of my hair won't curl like it normally would if I didn't use a hairdryer, and for the most part, it used to work out really well. So here's how it goes. My hair is short (but thick) currently and after taking a bath and brushing my hair, I use the hair straightener like I normally do and then dry my hair. The problem happens when I try to brush my hair down after drying every part of it and the back and sides of it stick up and out a lot, so I use water from the sink to get it to lay down, but after a while when I'm ready to brush my hair again, some of the sprigs start sticking up again and it takes me a while to get it to fix the way I want it. In the past, I used to not even use a hairdryer after taking a bath, but the front part of my hair would curl most of the time and I hated that. I also used gel and mousse (before the gel) back in the 8th grade and my hair would curl in the front then, too. Anyone have any suggestions on how I can get my hair to look right since the hairdryer makes my hair stick up?

The Eugene Character Was Nick Dinsmore's Idea
Silence replied to BoboBrazil's topic in The WWE Folder
WWE might go the Rico route with Eugene, knowing them, which in Eugene's case would be more retardedness instead of homophobe acts in his matches and not enough wrestling. -
On the same note, they need to get rid of face authority figures that are on TV almost every week, too (Mick Foley in 2000 as the Commissioner, Stone Cold as the "Sheriff" this year and GM last year, Stephanie McMahon as Smackdown face GM, etc.). However, this is "sportz-entertainment", so don't expect WWE to do that anytime soon.

Put her in numerous Diva contests against Miss Jackie every week and have Jackie win every one of them so she can become the new Whorrie. That'll obviously make Smackdown a lot worse than it already is. Wait a minute, aren't the FCC targeting WWE? That's right. The logical thing to do would be for WWE to release Sable again, although WWE might do something stupid like make her the GM's "personal assistant" or something.

I told the chicken to act like it's HHH and it flexed one bicep and then did the "Most Muscular" pose. I thought that was fucking hilarious.

Eddie's reign continues to get marred by horrible material from the uncreative team, in addition to feuding with a hoss...

The matches sucked just like the spoilers said. It's odd that they couldn't have just brought over Jonny Storm, Doug Williams (even though he isn't an X-Division style wrestler), and maybe two other decent UK wrestlers instead of bringing in 4 nobodies that we haven't even heard of before that aren't too impressive in the ring. I can understand if Storm and Williams were too busy wrestling in the UK, but TNA could have at least gotten better UK wrestlers instead of fucking Xtreme Dean and James "Clotheslines and Kneelifts" Mason. I know Raven does them a lot too, but when he's motivated, he can put on a decent match.
-
Speaking of which, why is it that 3 of the recent heel Smackdown defections (Benjamin, Rhyno, and Tajiri) have turned face? I'm OK with Benjamin being a face as he's got charisma, but the Tajiri and Rhyno turns don't really make sense considering they were both faces just a year ago. Is WWE trying to pull a Luger on them?
-
Would Billy Gunn be one of the worst? Chris Benoit couldn't even get a decent match out of him in 2000 because Gunn kept dropping Benoit on his head and looked really nervous as well. His mic skills are also some of the poorest I've ever heard. Don't forget any non-DX gimmicks he's had, either, especially "Mr. Ass". The only thing that would excuse him would be the fact that he only got over in 1998 just because he was with Road Dogg (who also sucks) in DX as the New Age Outlaws. Some have also argued that Gunn wasn't as terrible as he was pre-2000, though I can't think of a lot of good Billy Gunn matches even before that time, either.
-
Think about which promotion we're talking about....the same one that pussied out on a Rock heel turn for so long when he was getting stale in 2000 and FINALLY (no pun intended), the creative team got the hint 3 years later and turned him heel when he came back to wrestle Hogan at No Way Out in their Wrestlemania X-8 rematch. So expect Cena to continue shitty lines like "EVERYBODY MAKE SOME NOOIIIISSSSSE!!", "DEEEEEEZ NUTS!", and "WORD MOTHER FREAKIN' LIYEEEEEEEEEEEFFFFFE!!" for the next few years until WWE realizes how stale he is.
-
Here are my least favorites, not in order: -Any of the McMahons (especially Steph) -HHH -Rikishi -Austin -Hardcore Holly -Bradshaw (speaks out against smarks most of the time and sucks in the ring) -Billy Gunn -JR (screams just to show emotion and is senile) -The King ("Molly wears grannie panties!!" "Puppieeees!!") -Chris Jericho as a face to a certain extent (mostly his promos; if he can have good matches like he had with Benoit in 2000 and not blow spots or use the same moves every match, then he doesn't seem as bad, even though his face promos are still unforgivable) -Lita
-
That would probably prompt John Cena to come out on Smackdown and do some shitty rap about how someone's making a mockery one of his catchphrases. "Show ya face, Vin Visible Sounds moah like Pepto Bismol! So if you got the guts, *Cena pulls out a nutcracker and nuts* I'll make you choke on DEEEEZ NUTS!"
-
*Points at thread title* Hey, stop stealing my gimmick! Just kidding. Welcome back.

With all this "camo" shit being focused on more than the storyline (which needs to be explained better considering MGS2 was said to have taken a turn for the worst, especially with Raiden in the game) and gameplay, I'm not sure about buying this game right now. I guess I'll just stick to my PS2 WWE Smackdown games until something else interesting pops up.
