TNA's New Marketing Campaign "Wrestling Reinvented
Silence replied to BoboBrazil's topic in TNA Wrestling
Huh? The same guy that's been doing the same "Road Dogg" schtick since 1998 and still doesn't have a lot of in-ring talent? -
Right. Although I think I saw Matt Young (regular poster) posting a topic about moving from California, too.

3 weeks ago, my computer was freezing up most of the time, and it was hard for me to view some of the topics here and post in them so I could get up-to-date with everyone else, so last Friday, I decided to have a computer center fix my Internet so it wouldn't keep freezing on me like it was for a while, and now I'm back, although I've been told by one of the workers at the computer center to get a new anti-virus update instead of Norton 2000, so I'll see what I can find. Anyway, it's great to be back.

Another altercation between wrestlers takes place
Silence replied to QuestionMan's topic in The WWE Folder
Surely there's another restaurant that can serve Billy Gunn meatball sandwiches every Sunday during a WWE PPV. -
Yeah, ever since I joined TSM in 2001. I don't post as much as everyone else, so I guess it's understandable why almost every poster forgets I'm even here. BTW, Agent, you're probably right. I think it was 6 days instead of 7 since I came back yesterday.

Dames reminded people that he was moving from New York, and there have probably been some others on this forum reminding people of why they were gone. By the way, I don't feel like I'm special. That doesn't mean I'm going to quit posting here again, though.
-
Fair enough. I'm aware that I'm not the most respected poster here, and if you and others don't feel it's necessary to post a reason for my absences anymore, then I won't.
-
If you'll notice at the bottom of the forums, you'll see a list of people who are online posting here. I wasn't one of them after last Friday until today.
-
In that case, he probably had Paul London-syndrome last night (performing well in non-PPV indy promotions and doing poorly on PPV wrestling shows). As for the show, I didn't think it was too great, either. Not the worst, but it doesn't come close to the TNA vs. AAA show.
-
The Angle/Eddie build-up tonight was a slight improvement over last week's bullshit. I just wish Eddie's past drug problems would stop getting brought up so much.
-
Decent show tonight. It seems like AJ and Abyss almost never have a bad match against each other, though the bait-and-switch came out of nowhere since I expected the tag team match to happen, but the less Luger, the better, nonetheless.

In most major WWE title feuds, though, one has to be the heel and one has to be the face. Benoit and Jericho are both faces, currently, although I can see WWE giving Benoit a nonsensical heel turn like they did two years ago in his hometown after returning from a neck injury unless Jericho's face run is very short this time. Also, I think I remember reading about HHH holding Jericho down in 2001 even in his absence when he had the quad tear, so HHH leaving for a movie after Backlash possibly won't change his influence on Raw.
-
If Jericho's still writing the angle, why the hell doesn't he just kill it off and let Trish job on Heat for a while until she becomes fresh in the Women's division again? As for Christian, he could probably do the same. I know it's obvious Jericho will probably never see main-event status in WWE again, but couldn't he do something interesting besides write one of the worst love stories in wrestling?
-
I hate the fact that WWE even had Jericho to turn back into a face when he was more entertaining as a heel. I'm not liking pissed-off pussy-whipped face Jericho too much. Sure, it might be a little better than hearing him say "Would you please......SHUT, the hell, UP?!" and using childish insults to piss heels off, but I still thought it was a big mistake for WWE to turn Jericho back into the role he plays the worst at: A face. Say what you will about him getting major pops as a face, but Jericho as a face in WWE just doesn't cut it.

I've got the ring, the metal stick (both of which I put onto the mystery box), the battery, the power supply connectors, the CD case, the URL sheet, the three keys, and the video cassette, and now, I'm not sure what to do because I tried opening the door with a key, but it wouldn't open, and I can't figure out how to play the video because I've done just about everything in the room. Edit: Never mind, I figured it out now.

Like Michrome said before, it's turning into a CM Punk/Raven ROH feud rip-off, and I'll be surprised if WWE doesn't cross the line (how many times HAVEN'T they done that?) by having Angle mention how his late father was a lousy drunk who passed out in the shower after getting home from work sometimes.
-
IIRC, Red got injured in either July or August of last year with a hyper-extended knee. If that's the case, then I'd have to agree with you that he's rushing back to the ring too soon.
-
Sounds like Dave O' Neill got caught.
-
*Kenzo hits a series of shitty high knees on an opponent* JR:"Bah Gawd! Kenzo with that unorthodox stahle!"
-
Watch Angle get a milk tattoo on his left shoulder and write "Drug Free" on his knuckles.
-
Oh, I get it, you like dykes, right? Go watch America's Next Top Model on UPN for that. BTW, stop with the fucking ugly Lita pics.
-
Does that also mean that: 1. The crowd will chant "Milkman" at Angle, while Angle looks at the camera in disgust? 2. Konnan from TNA will make a Wrestlemania appearance in the crowd guzzling tequila while Angle says "That tequila you drink WILL NEVER touch my lips, therefore I am BETTER than you"? 3. Eddie vs. Angle at Wrestlemania will be a Dog Collar match with Eddie busting Angle open early in the match, but at the end, Angle wins the title with the help of Brock Lesnar?
-
So which really is/was the worst booking of a deserving WWE Champion: A Champion that had to clean up dog shit, or a Champion who's made out to be a pissed off bumbling Latino who knocks a woman down and gets arrested for being a former drug addict?

Kidman's Rep Improving, Wilson's Getting Worse
Silence replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
Was his reputation all that bad to begin with? I don't recall hearing any stories about him throwing tantrums or expressing discontent about his position. Last year, when he was injured, he bitched about Brock Lesnar stealing "his" Shooting Star Press at Wrestlemania on Byte This, I think. -

Which is why Victoria is stupid for wanting to pose in Playboy if they are interested in her.
