Val Venis has always been one of my favorite wrestlers and when he came in at the same time as Gangrel and Egde I predicted that he would have gotten pushed more then Edge, and that he would be in Edge's place now.

Good, I live the New Englad area, and I would like to go see a WWE developmental territory. That way I can see how bad they suck, and how they will bring them up before they are ready.

My favorite part of Raw was Gail Kim blowing the plancha and killing herself.... I am sure that there is a posted rant about that somewhere but I haven't taken the time to look for it yet.

Posting this on the Smart Marks board may be a dangerous move, but lets face it, Ultimo isn't performing nearly as good as other talent. He botches a few spots per match, something that shouldn't be existant in pro wrestling. He is sloppy, his finisher isn't very realistic because he needs the other guy to help so much. I saw him live, and they gave him a good amount of time for his match, and it really did not impress me. I am not surprised he isn't getting pushed. HOWEVER To not push him because he doesn't work the WWE style is stupid. If he wasn't getting pushed because he can't work a match at all, then it would make more sense. There, I said it, Ultimo sucks.

I have also heard many stories from Richard Lopes, local wrestling expert, about how much of a jerk Buh Buh Ray is. He is so mean to fans, and it is unjustified. And to think, he worked a program with HHH last year.

Imagine if Hogan bought TNA? It would be hilarious.... he would ruin it. I can't think of any funny instances to go along with it, so if you could it would be much appreciated.

It's hard to tell though. That was one of the best shows they've booked. Plus, wasn't it in a new, larger arena? I'm sure he sold a few tickets, but not as much as they give him credit for.

Call me pathetic, trash me, and then take a shit on my face, but I recall this.... Val Venis was fueding with Rikishi.... I know, bad already... Well, I think Venis his Rikishi in the face with a moniter and Rikishi did a hell of a blade, and I recall his blood dripping into his bleached hair. While this wasn't the most memorable fued, it did give it a lot of intensity for the big blowoff match where Rikishi did a big splasharoo from the cage.

Agreed, the new Turtles suck. I saw an episode with an earth within earth? Mike as a super hero? I thought it was supposed to be linked more closely with the more "realistic" comics. And I don't wanna seem racist, flame me if you must, but Baxter Stockman shouldn't be a black guy... hes supposed to be a white red headed goof. Wow, this is quite the off topic thread...

1999 Well...they did the InVasion Blowoff you know... I did see your post Choken One, but I did not quote it when I replied..... I phrased my question wrong.... I basically just wanted to know the last Survivor Series PPV where they did the traditional matches... and wasn't the InVasion match 5 on 5? EDIT: Just ignore me... I am all confused.... I am thinking of something else..... don't worry.... I'll be all better after a little more sleep. I am getting that confused with the other 10 man match they did with the invasion angle.

This made me think about how much they've jerked around Kane. He's the guy who always gets a weird tag partner that he has to fued with or hes the jobber to the stars. Whether or not he is good... he really deserves the title soon. Dare I call him the Benoit of Raw?

Bah, that doesn't count, what year was the last Survivor Series where they did the traditional matches.

Double post here.... granted, it may not have the same lineage, and may have been "ruined" because HHH has held it without even winning it.... it is the main title on RAW and therefore it is important.

I've come to realize that whether or not you recognize it as being as important, it actually is the Raw equivilant of the SD! title, and therefore is as important. Just wanted to get that off my flabby, hairy chest.

That would be cool, but it seems like it would be very difficult not to botch.... Maybe Kane will chokeslam him off of the tron, which will give RVD just enough time to push Kane off and give him a 5,6,7,8 star frog splash from 30 feet high.

That is one hell of a show... the dubbing of the absurd commentary is what makes it special though.
