  1. I've never had a Mexican order a pizza and not get jalapenos and pineapples. Personally, I think they're awesome on pizza. Jalapenos and banana peppers added cold to a pizza after it's been cooked is pretty great, too.

  2. Ah, yes, I knew there was something else about Truthiness that rubbed me the wrong way. That's it. You're right. I think it's just that fact that most of what he says falls into my lines of thinking that blinds me on him. As for goldengreek, I just don't think that type of poster should be welcome here. There are a bunch of worse forums with wrestling folders for guys like him to post at. And guys like Enigma and MVP are just totally off my radar. I can't think of a single specific post from either guy. I though Mecca was the "news" poster anyways.

  3. Hogan/McMahon - Wrestlemania 19

    Taker/Heidenreich - Royal Rumble 05

    Hunter/Nash - Bad Blood 03

    Austin/Vince - St. Valentine's Day Massacre 99

    Vince/Shane - Wrestlemania 17

    Flair/Vince - Raw 3/17/08

    Taker/Khali - Smackdown 8/18/06

I wouldn't call any of these matches bad at all. WM19 was a fun, crazy, sports-entertainmenty brawl. Taker/Heidenreich had some blown spots, but they covered pretty well. It's probably the worst match you have listed, but it's not something I'd call actively bad. I haven't seen Hunter/Nash, but I though the general consensus was that it was really decent. Austin/Vince is a classic, with Vince taking two or three crazy bumps and the crowd going nuts. Vince/Shane is really good, too. Flair/Vince from last Monday wasn't as good as their '02 match, but outside of Vince's really shitty punches, it was flowed pretty well and had a great ending. I'm guessing Taker/Khali is their Last Man Standing match. I remember watching that and thinking for the first time that Khali actually had potential in the WWE. That was another match with a good finish, as Taker just wrapped the chair around Khali's head for the 10 count.

  4. After reading the last couple of pages of this month's General Discussion, all I can say is... fuck, I hate goldengreek. I think those three consecutive posts should constitute an immediate ban. As bad as some people say the WWE folder is--and they usually make really good points--most of the bad posters at least have that whole internet etiquette thing down. His opinions are on "I just got 'smart,' and man that Scott Keith is great!" levels. I'm sure he's just waiting to tell everyone how Cena should be turned heel and bring the Attitude Era back, or how Big Daddy V's just a fat slob who's taking up roster space while great wrestlers such as Super Crazy and Charlie Haas get Heat duty. He's easily the worst poster in that folder. Truthiness isn't anywhere near as bad as most people say. I usually agree with his opinions (Michaels kind of sucking, same with Angle and Christian, etc). The only problem I have with him is his attitude and his inability to correctly explain himself.

    Yeah.

  5. Fuck, I thought this was going to be an awesome thread where we all talked about our board game experiences. Screw it, this thread sucks anyways. So...

My family plays a lot of cards, but we occasionally play board games and the like, too. Our favorites are Clue and Sorry, easily. My girlfriend and I occasionally get together with friends and we switch between video games and board games. Cranium fucking rules. Scrabble is pretty great, too. Getting a million points for the word "Qat" rules.

  6. I was young, so I'm not completely positive, but I think it was WCW World War 3 from '96. I have that show on tape, it's got Rey/Ultimo for the J*Crown, Malenko/Psicosis for the Cruiser title, a big Hogan/Piper contract signing, and the Giant winning the main event. I was a huge Piper mark back then, that may have had something to do with my ordering.

My first live PPV was the horribly shitty Unforgiven last year. Batista's title win was kind of neat, but the rest blew. We were counting on the Cena/Orton match to the carry the show and it didn't happen. A ton of people left during the main event.

  7. Id say a majority of the new characters that you have to unlock are pretty cool but ultimately worthless.

    -

Lucario, R.O.B., Sonic - all worthless. Snake is the only one thats decent.

(I deleted the spoiler tags because it's stupid to hide hidden characters everyone knows, and which have been talked about in this thread and on this very page.) It's a fightingish party game, how are any characters worthless? Admittedly, I've only played with Lucario and Sonic once or twice so far, and I play with R.O.B. all the time more because I had one and loved it as a kid then anything to due with the actual character in the game, but my point still stands.

For that matter, how is Toon Link worthless and Wolf not. He's just a Fox/Falco clone with different stats. How do the two differ?

I know it's all the rage to pick on Marvin, but I can't help myself. So, how is stage builder complicated? My 9 year old little brother and my 18 year old sister who only plays Mario Kart and Smash Bros. both picked it up and started making decent stages right away.

  8.

Holy Shit, that guy's like Jack Evans on crack. Can he actually wrestle though or does he just do these insane spots? In either case, he's entertaining as hell!

He's pretty awesome. Here's his wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Takuya_Sugi. He goes by the names Yoshitsune and El Blazer the most often, but has, like, 12 different gimmicks. He's currently getting a pretty big push in Michinoku Pro, and just beat Great Sasuke a few days ago.

  9. I remember Angle had just beat a badly blown up Justice Smith in a little shoot wrestling match, then issued an open challenge to the rest of the Tough Enough guys and Puder accepted. He went for the keylock right at the beginning and Kurt and the ref figured out what was going on and improvised a really quick roll-up.

  10. Losing to Edge semi-cleanly is nothing like losing to Chavo without the least bit of cheating. I'll never understand how losing to the current World Champion means you're in the doghouse. Punk got to look better against Edge than Kane did against HHH.
