With the Rockets current record, T-Mac won't be playing again this season. Remember his last season with the Magic? I think it's time for the Rockets to phone it in and look to get a good draft pick and some solid FA guards who still have some years left in them. McGrady/Yao/Swift is a great front line for the future, but they desperately need at least one quality guard.

This whole list seems pretty haphazard. Like you just listed 50 good WWF/E feuds in no particular order. Austin/Rock should definitely be top 5. The two biggest icons of the attitude era squaring off in two of the biggest title matches of that era? The Austin heel turn after a great match at WM 17? The whole "Can the Rock ever beat Austin" angle leading into WM19? The Rock finally getting a decisive win over Austin after years of trying? While the feud was based around sports-entertainment legends and embodied the attitude era, at its core it was just a long lasting rivalry over who was really the best. Almost AJPW-like in that regard. When you get down to it, the feud is what wrestling should be about. Seeing it beat out by Dibiase/Virgil, Savage/HTM, and Austin/Owen is sad.

His arms getting smaller is likely a result of his neck problems. As much as I love having him with the belt, he really needs to take a year off for spinal fusion surgery. Anyway for SD... Pretty average show overall. Lashley/Finlay is a great feud. I'm interested to see how they blow it off. Burchill's entrance was sweet. As is the C4, though that name needs to change for the gimmick. The Shipwreck would work, I think. Why is Mark Henry still being booked as a threat at the expense of good wrestlers? And why is Daivari wasted on him? I can't wait for UT to kill him at Mania, and hopefully send Mark out of wrestling for good. Oh, that contract cannot expire fast enough.

The Spurs better get their shit together or they're going to be at risk of losing to Dallas or a Nash-led Phoenix team. The Lakers won't win a 7-game series against any West playoff team. The Clippers can ill-afford to fuck around while the Suns rest Nash. Now's the time to make a last-ditch effort at contending for the division and more importantly the 2 seed. Playing the Grizz or Lakers is a lot better than the Spurs or Mavs.

Marion's having a great year, and he's a really good player, but he's not an MVP. If Nash doesn't play all season, that team doesn't make the playoffs.

Well, I think tonight's Spurs/Suns game should effectively take Shawn Marion's name out of the MVP projection lists, although I have no idea why it was there to begin with. Everyone and their mom knows Nash makes that team go. It could be that the Spurs are just that damn good, but should Nash not play Saturday against Minnesota and the Suns lose, I think the Nash-dependency theory will be solidified. As if the Suns' 35 game turnaround last year wasn't enough. Lebron's name also needs to stop being mentioned for MVP. He has to be the most un-clutch good player in the league.

Dueling chants are great for face/face matches. Although I will agree they definitely hurt face/heel matches. It seems so bush league for the announcers to be putting over how "evil" a heel is, meanwhile half the crowd's cheering for him. I think the big problem with the TNA crowd is they put themselves over first. They completely abuse and overuse dueling chants and "This is awesome" chants.

Hmm, no ppv's anywhere close to KC this year. Not that we have a great track record for ppvs anyway. The only ppvs I can think of that we've had... Over the Edge 1999 Slamboree 2000 Backlash 2002 Even if you don't factor in the Owen incident, that's a god-awful string of shows.

YES! I'd rather waste time on bad sports entertainment or promos than boring, unfunny midget wrestling. Although, I was hoping for one crowd to completely shit all over one of their matches prior to them being scrapped.

It really seemed like the Rockets were trying to give the game away with terrible ball-handling, but the Pacers wouldn't have it and responded by bricking every shot in the last 6 minutes. Yao's been looking damn good recently. Thank god too, because T-Mac's been going at quarter speed for a while.

Didn't HHH and UT have a match on Raw around that time period? It was the show where Austin fought the Bossman for something, Bossman lost and got kicked out of the Corporation for a week.

Hmm. I thought they'd wait until Mania to blow off Lashley/Finlay. Oh well, should be a decent match. The rest looks pretty average, but Benoit/Helms could be good if it gets time.

Right now, I don't really care for either of them. However, I did like Cena at one point in the past 5 years, so he wins. Cena also didn't kill legit ME opportunities for Booker, RVD, and Jericho.

Does anyone else think it's wrong that John Cena is now being "pushed" as a terrible worker after coming off a 3-month assbeating of Kurt Angle who is now being pushed as the best wrestler in the company?

You know, the more I think about it, the less and less sense the main event is making. And it didn't even make much sense to begin with. I mean, what is the point of this match? Logically, neither of the teams have any reason to co-exist (except for maybe Angle and Rey) and there's really no way to get around certain guys looking horrible going into the WM main events. Naturally, the 3-man team should dominate, but that wouldn't showcase the Raw guy's "abilities" to the casual fan which this show is presumably designed to attract. If the 2-man team with one terrible wrestler according to WWE gets any sort of sustained momentum against the SD guys, SD looks like a damn joke. If there is a winner, or likely winner before a run-in/DQ, one brand looks inferior. Talk about booking yourself into a corner.

What would make HHH squashing a jobber any more exciting than Bob Holly squashing a jobber? The fact is, fans expect competitive matches on tv and are not interested in a show where "nothing exciting will happen" which is exactly what Raw and SD would become with just squashes. You would still have all the "sports entertainment" that you get now, but with worse matches. How does that help anything?

No. Wrestling, as well as any other form of entertainment, evolves over time. Going back is not the key to success. Who's going to want to pay to see a Raw or SD that's nothing but jobber squashes? That's what shows like Velocity and Heat are for.

I don't get how he couldn't earn a paycheck as a manager or road agent. Just because he can't wrestle, doesn't mean he has to leave the wrestling business. The fact is, he's bringing nothing to the table on Raw as an active talent, and with as shallow as the Raw talent pool is these days, that's saying a lot.

Man, what kind of offense do you expect from wrestlers? I can understand why others would bash his psychology and selling, but his offense? The guy has lots of nice kicks, high-impact moves, and flying moves. I could see someone calling him an indy RVD, but not a Billy Gunn. That's just too much for me.

I don't know about the Mavs. The Suns and Spurs always give them trouble (Spurs are too strong on D, while the Suns are too strong on O), but the Mavs have the most solid team they've put on the court in the last few years. They seem to be trying on D, and they can still score when needed. I think they can hang with the best of them.

Necro Butcher... I actually don't know how hyped he is overall, but I heard some people say some good stuff about him, so I checked him out and he sucked. Looked like a run-of-the-mill Indy garbage wrestler to me.

The book thing deserves its own thread. That premise just has too many options for comedy to be contained here. I'd bet it could end up in classics, if that folder still gets updated.
