Well, shame on me for thinking the CAR/DAL game would be competitive. I still think the Panthers can win the NFC. As for the Titans, they either get slapped, spanked, and embarassed at New England or go down after a valiant effort at KC.

The Steiner/Steiner segment was the worst of any of their ppv meetings. First, Buff Bagwell claims he "changed" and wants to help Rick against Giant and Scott. Of course, 5 seconds into the match, and Buff turns, but Rick still beats the other team by himself. During the Rick/Scott match, Buff runs down dressed as BILL CLINTON (I do believe Tony S. said something to the effect of "Is that Bill Clinton in the ring?"), but Rick still wins. The Hall/Nash bit ran way too long, but the worst part was Nash yelling through the whole match. "I think he wants a double!" X 500

I am looking forward to Dallas/Carolina. It's much more likely to be a competitve game. While I'll be rooting all the way for Seattle, my realistic half tells me it's going to be a slaughter for the Pack. The other games only hold my interest because they're the playoffs and I need Baltimore and Denver to win in KKK's contest.

Breaking News: This thread is not getting over The cult classic used on another wrestling site has met a cold and bitter reception at TSM. It has been renamed, but still uses the principle of creating humorous stories about WWE superstars. Many smarks are not amused by this trend, calling it "horrible," "lameness," and "so awful it's classic." Still, loyalist Y2Jerk continues to print his rumors in hopes of capturing lightning in a bottle. Posters like The Kid and Repo Man Reborn have bought in to this new trend. Although, RMR's style of rumor creation may link him to the aforementioned cult on another site.

While we're at it, go ahead and include the many "ring fills with smoke" promos. The worst one being at Fall Brawl 98. It was already one of the most boring war games ever, but Warrior comes in halfway through. I don't know what I'd do as far as bonus features go. I would put in a bunch of promos with Edge, Christian, and Steve Austin, that's for sure. And maybe the abstinence one with the Big Show as well. Are you sure that wasn't 99? Maybe they had another at 2000, but I don't remember. However, I may just have to go with thier 99 cage match. It was a first blood match that continued for about 10 minutes after Flair was busted open. I think there was supposed to be some sort of double turn, but the acting/selling/announcing was so unclear that it confused everybody. Another choice could be Mark Henry vs. Viscera at NWO 2000. Thank god that only lasted 5 minutes, but that's 5 minutes that could have been added to Angle/Jericho, Hardyz/E+C, or HHH/Foley. Hell, those five minutes could have been better used on X-Pac/Kane or the 10-minute ass-kicking of Tazz by Bossman and Albert.

Good to see New England return the favor to Buffalo. The NFC is fairly open, but I think the Patriots are a lock for the AFC.

First, What's a JTTS? Second, they're feuding because Brock broke Hardcore Holly's neck. Nevermind Holly being a douche and not helping at all with the power bomb, Brock is pure evil. After that, Orton ran in and nailed his finisher on Michaels on the chair. Jericho crawled over but Michaels barely kicked out. Jericho then locked on the Walls of Jericho in the corner of the ring. Michaels struggled and came close to reaching the ropes but Jericho dragged him back into the center where Michaels tapped." Shawn has him beat, Orton interferes (the fact that Michaels kicks out is irrelevant because he had the match in hand), Jericho wins (sorta).

Those were two different things. The best part was they happened in back to back weeks.

Huh? I remember HBK having Jericho beat in the middle of the ring when Orton came down and hit the RKO on a chair. Jericho immediately followed up with the walls and Michaels tapped, but it was semi-clean at best.
