    Batista over Benoit

Actually, I really enjoyed his RNN promos.

    Batista over Benoit

You stupid shits. Batista did not pin Benoit clean. He pinned him shortly after ramming his head 3 times into the exposed metal part of the turnbuckle. The loss made logical sense. Benoit beat Batista clean earlier last year, not to mention all of those tag team victories over him and mostly Flair.

    HHH or Jericho

What I'm saying with HBK/HHH and HBK/Y2J is that HBK/HHH wasn't a consistant series of good matches, the vast majority of them weren't anything above average. Whereas everytime Jericho and HBK were in a match, it was entertaining. For every good HBK/HHH match, there is like 3-4 average matches. So, instead, let's compare HBK/HHH from Royal Rumble to HBK/Y2J at WMXIX. From that comparison, HHH is clearly the better wrestler (using the term, "worker" is so fucking stupid on this board). *rolls eyes*

    HHH or Jericho

Comparing HHH/HBK to Jericho/HBK isn't quite that fair. Jericho had 2 matches with HBK, one on one, and both were quite good. HHH and HBK had like a billion matches with eachother and only 2 were memorable (Last Raw of 2003, Summerslam 2002).

    Unforgiven this Sunday

What in the hell is this about Orton not getting over? Orton was getting over just fine after the face turn. The crowd has been really into all of his segments and whatnot. I don't get you people.

    Unforgiven this Sunday

Nothing wrong with Edge's spear. It's like a quick move to knock the breath out of a guy, long enough to get him on the mat for 3 seconds. Makes sense. You guys act like it is as bad as Goldust using a regular neckbreaker for a finisher.

    The OAO SummerSlam 2004 Thread

No, it wouldn't. Nobody cares about Shamrock and nobody has for a long while.

    The OAO SummerSlam 2004 Thread

Why are you guys mad about Canada pissing on the WWE Championship match? Bradshaw is the WWE champ. It makes sense. Bradshaw.

    So lemme get this straight

HHH always proclaiming himself to be the best, to be the Game, etc, is part of his gimmick, even after a big loss. This worked perfectly on the Raw after Benoit won the title at Wrestlemania. He came out there and still proclaimed himself to be the best, but the whole segment was portraying him as an illusional heel who is in denial that he lost and is going in a downward spiral due to it (With Benoit beating him up after that promo and him losing to Shelton shortly there after). He was spouting off the opposite of what everybody else knew for a fact (That he lost) and it made him look pathetic. The growth of his beard back could have also been a subtle detail that he is paranoid and going off the deep end. HHH's character isn't one that will shake hands after a loss, but in a great match. He is a textbook heel. And, while I don't agree with what he did to all of his challengers in 2002-2003, he was an excellent heel. Boring, but excellent. Why? Tell me. Is there one fucking heel in the past 5 years that you HATED and wanted to lose the title so badly? There's so many top heels that are bad guys, they get booed, etc, but you don't dislike them. You like to boo them because they rule. Even though Angle was a heel with the championship and a stable, there was still a lot of Angle fans and nobody was really just DESPERATLY WANTING BROCK TO BEAT HIS ASS AND WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP. The objective of a heel is to make the fans hate you and buy tickets to see their hero beat you. HHH is that. Benoit's win at WM wouldn't have been as big as it was if it wasn't for HHH, and there isn't a heel in the whole company that could have made it that special as HHH, being the one to tap out clean, did.

The One and Only Vengeance Thread

Wow. HHHate. Never expected to read any of that here. HHHate is so old. Just get over it. No matter how much bitching any of you do about HHH, nothing is going to ever change because of your bitching. There's no point. It's wasted text. It's wasted effort. It's wasted time.
  11. Well, I have seen Scorpio only do the SSP once. And it was in ECW, of course. I think it was against Jericho, but I'm not 100% sure about that.
  12. You guys are all on crack. 2 Cold Scorpio has the best Shooting Star Press. He like nearly kills himself when he does it. Not much matches London doing the Shooting Star Press off of a ladder, though.

Update On Kurt Angle's In Ring Return

If Lyger can continue his career by changing his moveset after having a brain tumor and still give great matches, then Angle can continue his career with a new moveset with an not so reportedly good neck and still be as awesome as he was.

    Booker T...

Now, we all know that Booker is supposed to be a good wrestler back from his WCW days. But, I was thinking a little bit earlier and...there is absolutley no WWE match from Booker T in the past 3 years that he has been there that stands out to me. Now, I'm a Booker T fan (noticably a smaller one in the past year) and wish that he would be put in the main event...but, has there been even ONE good Booker T match in WWE that didn't have more than 3 other people in the match? What about singles matches? Booker has also been noticeably MUCH worse ever since the whole WWE style went for a longer match/more in-ring story driven matches style.

    Booker T...

Christian is a very capable wrestler, though. And I know Booker had to have some matches with Jericho at LEAST during the whole Austin-Bischoff thing.

    Tentative SummerSlam card

Angle vs. Cena at No Mercy was kick ass. Powerbombs into the turnbuckle > you
  18. Fuck Summerslam 2003 in the ass for ruining the concept of gimmicking Survivor Series to revolve around the Elimination Chamber. I wanted to say that a good idea would be to put all of the Raw title contenders in the EC since they have all been interacting with eachother this year, but I was beat to it in the first post. Damn. But, yeah, Chris Benoit vs. Triple H vs. Edge vs. Kane vs. Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels in the EC at Survivor Series would be great. Even if the line up is almost the same one from the first lineup...*cough*... Eddie vs. Bradshaw - Iron Man Match

    The End of SD! Usefulness

Taker doesn't get enough props about putting people over. You people act like if it wasn't for HHH, Taker would be the Anti-Christ. Consider these two things: 1. Taker put over Brock in the HIAC and Taker was the one that cemented Lesnar in stone that he was worthy of the WWE championship. After that feud with Taker, Brock started getting face pops even though he was heel. Taker, even though he won, he put over Jeff Hardy immensely in their ladder match. He put over Austin at Summerslam. While it may not seem like it, Cena's feud with Taker really helped Cena out a lot. When it is time to do business, Taker is a business man and will do the right thing. 2. Ever since Taker came back as the Deadman, he hasn't been squashing anybody outside of jobbers. If you say that he squashed Booker, then you're an idiot. Their last match, and from what I hear at Judgement Day, were both competitive matches. Yeah, he squashed Booker at house shows, but house shows are irrelevant.

    Shelton Benjamin

Did anybody ever notice Shelton's walk to the ring while he was with Haas? It was bad ass. *imitates Benjamin walk in bedroom*

    **SPOILERS**Smackdown! Results

It would be great if they did fill his crypt with concrete. Then, on Smackdown, have the Dudleys come to the ring with a Paul Bearer statue of cement. Put him on bounty under Heyman the Hutt's command.

First videoclip from "Smackdown vs Raw" (ps2)

Yeah, they totally keep wasting time trying when it WASN'T IN THE LAST FUCKING GAME. Yeah. Also, I would ignore that commentary, particularly, as it definitely was just for the video only.

    Benoit Must Be Stopped

You guys must be deaf. Benoit, like, always gets a big pop when his music starts.
