Yeah, Brian Lawler was SOOO interesting in TNA. 1st Grader Faces + Misplaced curse words to look "cool" + boring + lack of talent = Brian Lawler. How the fuck could you take Brian Lawler seriously in TNA when he'd be like "I'm going to kick the shit out of you" and make faces during it that a 5 year old would? Not only can Brian Lawler not wrestle, but he is one of the worst actors in the wrestling business. Everytime Brian was on my screen, I wanted to turn the TV off as if he was Stephanie McMahon giving Sable her manliest scream. He's down there with the Lex Lugers. They might as well just fucking sign Sean Waltman while they are at it. At least he can put on a good match in one out of any 453 matches he is in.

Now, if somebody could just add in HHH doing the arm thing behind him...

Spike is better than what I give him credit for, but I would love for him to get fired.

Tony is better than like 80% of indy announcers.

Update of JD main event, Heyman and Teddy Long
Dangerous K89 replied to Kurt Angle Mark's topic in The WWE Folder
RVD getting the boot and wrestling meaningless matches while the resident gay cowboy jobber, Bradshaw, is given the main event push is AWESOME. -
Corpse fucking and Nose Honking have been added to this year's.

Jindrak & O'Haire as a tag team is overhyped. They are a nice solid tag team, but they were simply above average in a land of crap (WCW). Too bad they are too busy pushing the home grown talent rather than working with what they have (Rob Van Dam, Rob Van Dam, and RVD).

Outside of the disrespect the bikers showed to Benoit/Malenko, it was a great match. They were booing the match and everything. Was horrible. I hate dumb ass bikers.

Well, at least Tajiri isn't THE sidekick ala 2001..

I didn't really like how Angle was working on Eddie's mid-section for most of the match, then decides at the end to work Eddie's ankle in the ankle lock. Although, I did like Eddie acting like Angle's work on his ankle was really working, then got the clever win. Ok, so maybe the ankle thing works with Eddie acting like it didn't effect him after the match and ultimately using Angle's mistake in using the ankle lock to his advantage for the clever pin. Although, it makes Angle look dumb that he worked Eddie's mid-section the entire match then tried to make him to the ankle lock. He's an Olympic Gold Medalist, he's not dumb, damnit!

Actually, no, not a good explaination. If that is the road that they took, then they should have went full out. The stuff he was wearing should have been torn and dirt stained. It's like the zombie Taker went to the laundry mat after he "rose from the dead". He also has that nicely trimmed goatee, too. The effect would have been soooo much more if that happened instead of him coming out in perfectly washed, non-torn, attire.

Honestly you can't say that SYM's "attribute" system is better than HCTPs? Even after all of those 3 counts just 3 minutes into a match after a HHH clothesline on SYM? HCTP makes it much more realistic in that you can KICK OUT of stuff and not have such damn random finishes. Not that they don't happen, of course. But, they happen NO WHERE NEAR as much as the SD games before HCTP. You can have some tiny bit of strategy in HCTP, whereas there is absolutley none in the past SYM games.

I think there obviously was a change due to Brock leaving. Why would WWE have Goldberg, a guy leaving the company the next night, go over their pet project (before the Brock leaving thing happened)?
-
For what it is worth, Benoit winning the title in that triple threat created a better moment than a Brock/Benoit title match would at WM. In the long run, Benoit/Brock would have been better...but, everybody knew Lesnar was leaving and that he would have a chance in hell of keeping that title. Not to mention that the Brock leaving heat could have been more memorable than the we want Benoit to win heat. In the triple threat match, I don't think it was just me, but every guy had a believable chance to walking out with the title.

If Taker came out looking like he did tonight a few months ago before the buried stuff, he would have looked cool. But, when you hype the Old Taker coming back, full force, for 2 months, you don't fucking pull that shit that they did last night. Now, if his suit was dirt stained and torn up and shit, that would have been okay, but every single fucking WWE fan was expecting the deadman Taker, full on. WWE failed to deliver on Taker.

Thoughts: - I didn't catch all of C/Jericho as I was eating and had my head turned. I didn't expect the Trish thing and she is indeed a whole lot sexier as a heel . I felt that it was good for C to go over as if Jericho won, it really wouldn't have done anything for Jericho and it would hurt C as he wouldn't really be a threat to anybody in the ring. It was alright. Verdict: So-so - I was zoning in and out of the Evolution vs. Foley/Rock match. It wasn't really worthy of a WM match, but it was fun for what it was. Flair and Rock's interactions were great. I didn't like Orton going over at all, although the timing on that RKO ruled. Verdict: Okay - Torrie/Sable vs. Stacy/Jackie was...what it was. I wasn't a horrible waste of time and had my attention a lot more than the tag team title matches so...I might rewind back to it later :tup. *shrink* Verdict: Stiffy - Taker/Kane was one HUGE disapointment. I've never been the biggest of Taker fans, but I was quite intrigued by the old school, long hair, Taker with his DEAD MAN ATTIRE....but, instead we get Bad Ass Taker with slightly longer hair with JR, King, and Kane selling him being dead. He looked like a cowboy during his entrance, too. WTF was the point of bringing Taker back like this after hyping him to be the Dead Man? WHAT THE FUCK?! Verdict: Huge Disapointment - Lesnar/Goldberg was awesome for all of the wrong reasons. That of course being that they were booed out of the arena. The match itself was horrible. But, the crowd made that match for keeping it real . Verdict: BAD ASS - Tag Title matches were so fucking horrible. Booker/RVD's music is so bad that it killed their crowd heat. I will never watch those matches again. Make sure to skip them on your DVD next month, kids. Verdict: Kill Me - Victoria/Holly sucked. Could have had one cool spot with the sunset flip powerbomb, but Victoria had to hold on for a second to kill the momentum of it :\. Molly is bald . Verdict: Sucked - Cruiserweight Open. I actually was hoping that WWE would give this the time it needed, since this PPV was 4 and a half hours long. But, noooo. It got like 10 minutes and was super rushed. Few spots were cool, but that's it. I would say that it is safe to say that no wrestler will ever try a Shooting Star Press again at a WM. Think about if Noble and Nunzio didn't catch Kidman enough...ouch. Verdict: Eh. - Show/Cena was only cool for the crowd. Being the first match on the card, the crowd ate it up. I think it also got the time it deserved (around 12 minutes). Cena really needs to fall down with that F-U like he used to so it has more impact as a finisher, though.. Verdict: Passable - Eddie Guerrero/Kurt Angle wasn't the match of the decade or anything, but I felt it was a solid *** 3/4. Good match. The ending was so clever. I really wouldn't mind a series of matches with these guys, but then again...who wouldn't? Verdict: Awesome - Triple Threat. The match started off just okay. The crowd was tired until it picked up around the middle. I'm not sure to say if it is better than Eddie/Angle or not, cause I'm still marking over Benoit making HHH tap. Benoit winning, while owning HBK and making HHH tap CLEAN with the crowd 100% made Wrestlemania for me. FINALLY, I'm not disapointed after a WM ended! Benoit winning is also the biggest markout I've ever had for wrestling, counting HBK's comeback match, anything ECW, anything ever. Just so awesome. Eddie coming out and them hugging while crying was a very touching moment. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome (dude). Verdict: If Benoit didn't win, it still would have been a very entertaining match, but him winning while owning HBK, then making HHH tap clean just puts it through the rough. FUCKING BAD ASS Random Thoughts: - Was that Ventura segment worthless or what? - That set was like the most awesome WM set up ever. - Was that new Twin Towers the "cutting edge technology" that you guys were hyping about? If so, that really sucked. Maybe you guys are talking about the ending video, which I haven't seen yet.. - Greg Valentine = HHH at the end of this year. - Was there anybody on the roster that wasn't on camera tonight?
-
*Stares at Star Ocean* Was it a wise choice? Hell no. I will be denied my 50,000+ attendance dome for WM yet again!! Not complaining about MSG though, as it ruled.
-
For what it is worth, Angle didn't get the Goldberg push or anything. His undefeated streak was ended not too long after it started. It was during his European title days by Tazz.
-
By far, the MSG crowd is more infamous. The Toronto deal was just cheering Hogan cause they loved Hogan. This was booing the entire match because it was announced on dirt sheets on the internet that both guys were leaving the company. Hell, the Lesnar leaving news only took 5 days to circulate.

All of the chants in the match: "YOU SOLD OUT" "BOOOOOOOOOORING" "GOLDBERG SUCKS" "THIS MATCH SUCKS" "AU-STIN" "WE WANT BRET" "NA NA NA NA, NA NA NA NA, HEY HEY HEY, GOODBYE" "HO-GAN" "WE WANT HOGAN" and can't forget: "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

I was watching on my bed and was into the match and stuff. I looked at the clock and was like "shit, it's going to end really soon." Then I thought about how Eddie retained and they couldn't possibly have HHH retain...so then I was thinking that maybe HBK would win. I knew Benoit was eventually going to win the title, but I thought it would be at Backlash. HBK goes for the superkick and gets dumped outside, so you knew he was out of the match from the way it was sold.....then, I saw HHH stalking Benoit for the Pedigree. I just knew it was fucking over. I just knew it. Kick. Tucks arms. Starts to go up, NO! CROSSFACE!!! At that point, I jumped up and stood on my bad silently screaming "TAP! TAP! TAP!" HHH was in it for a little while, so I started to think that maybe he was waiting for HBK to break it up, then he switches it over into a pin, and I figured HHH would get the quick win but NOOO! ROLLOVER INTO THE CROSSFACE!!! HE TAPS!! I then jumped to my knees with arms in the air silenty hollering (if my parents were away, I would be hollering). Just celebrating and all. Somewhere I there, I skinned my knee on my...bed...*shrug*. When Eddie came out and they embraced while crying, I didn't get close to crying, but I got very emotional. I've never marked out so hard for something in my life. Ever. I bought the whole thing hook.line.sinker.

They should make the Raw Tag Team match a tables match. It would make it interesting as opposed to mostly a borefest. Besides, we haven't had a tables match in a little while.
