So on 24 / 7, I'm assuming WWE still edits theme music and ring entrances like they do on DVDs?
-
Randy Orton was fine as World Champion, the only thing WWE needs to learn how to do is keep him heel because that's what he's best at doing. What a shitty way to end Kennedy's streak and what a change in plans for SSeries. Originally, it was Batista / Guerrero II and JBL was captain of the SD team with Benoit, Christian, Mysterio, and Kennedy. Now, its looks Batista (?!!), JBL, Guerrero, Lashley, and Mysterio. I don't like the change.

More hopes that Batista jobs the title to Guerrero at SSeries (if they can stretch it out that long). I'm not a big Orton fan, but its bullshit how he was handled. I mean he defeats Chris Benoit clean for the title in one of the best matches of 2004 then has a lameduck reign only to go on a wild goose chase after HHH only to get turned against by the fans because they kept on bullshitting with the angle that even the people got tired of it. Orton was OVER and doing just fine until they did the Batista tease and booked NYR. If those 2 things never happened, Orton wouldn't have had a problem doing the usual face chase into Mania IMO. But then again, I'm glad in a way it did happen because I really enjoyed the first Orton / Taker encounter, well on PPV anyway.

Thomas Haden Church cast as villain for Spider-Man
Lil' Bitch replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Television & Film
Pochorenella pretty much answered you for me. I'd figure and HOPING, they'll reuse it for the movie, its a more convinient way to introduce Venom into the movie if they're going to do a slow build, which they should considering Sony wants at least 6 Spider-Man movies made. Well, its official guys, after all the rumors, Sony has released this: Enter The Sandman -
Practically what you guys said, except I would use that to describe how I felt about FFIV instead. I just liked the characters and story more: Golbez is one of the coolest RPG villains ever, but the kicker is Plus the final boss took freaking forever to kill, making it more epic when you finally beat him! Final Fantasy V: I never got to finish it, but from what I remember, I liked it! Final Fantasy VI: Loved this game as well, plus the fact you had Moogles in there kicking the shit out of people and that you could have one in your party! Final Fantasy VII: Frankly I think this game is overrated mainly because everybody was spoiled at the time by all the CGI going OOH! AHH! Cloud's not a character I really got into as he came off as a whiny bitch to me. Other than that, the story was good, had a great cast to make up for a dull main hero, I loved the Turks. Its a good thing they made Advent Childrten because I HATE how this game ended. Final Fantasy VIII: A definitely improvement over FF VII except for a similar problem with the last game: a lame main character. I didn't like Squall being Mr. Roboto, huge turn-off. At least Cloud displayed different ranges of emotions. A better story and an even better cast makes FF 8 great. Final Fantasy IX: I didn't like anything about this game except Vivi, enough said. Final Fantasy X: Probably my 3rd favorite FF game, I liked all the characters offered, Tidus was a fantastic lead. The only thing that ruined this game for me was the ending because they just felt like making a change that wasn't your typical RPG ending, which I hated them for. FFX-2 didn't help things either.

So is Shimmer better than WEW?

What was the real reasoning behind the IC title 02
Lil' Bitch replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in General Wrestling
Jeff Hardy was just a one time deal and got his ass handed to him plus the match was pretty decent so that was no big deal, but compared to 2003 with HHH main eventing PPVs and having nonstop God awful matches against Scott Steiner, Kevin Nash, and Bill Goldberg (Three of the worst workers you can pick to push), getting rid of KOTR, the horrible feuds of Booker Vs. Christian and Shane Vs. Kane, McMahonamania running wild and Mr. America with Zack Gowen being shoved down our throats... Yeah, I'll take 2002 over 2003 any day. Besides, 2002 had better PPVs. -
There's also Sam Goody.
-
Too bad Edge is injured, he would have helped made the RAW an all-star cast, that is assuming Shelton had gotten the final spot, but nope now we have to see the dull duo of Carlito and Masters take those places.
-
Looks like WWE did some damage control by reminding people that Kurt is the heel (I loved that promo he cut, very powerful stuff) although I wonder how long they can strech it with Cena, unless they do some tweaking with his character, this roadblock isn't going to last for long. I was extremely pissed they did not give Rob Conway the IC title, I was totally expecting HHH to cost Flair the match and its fucking bullshit that God damn Carlito is on the RAW team and not Shelton!!! 2002

I'd mark the fuck out to see Sid show up on RAW.

Best Buy carries a lot of older DVDs sometimes. Same with Suncoast.

I found the video of this infamous speech! LOL

HHH Gets Punk'd ^ By far, the best prank done on a WWE star by Kutchor. I love this Google video thing.

Worst excuse to get out of a job/angle?
Lil' Bitch replied to Epic Reine's topic in General Wrestling
Well yeah, but the incident marked the end of RVD's main eventing days on PPV. -
As awful as Downhome's idea is, its a hell out of a lot better than Bischoff / Long.
-
I can't believe I forgot about this. This diss is a true masterpiece. In fact, I don't think 50 has yet to come back with a response.
-
Difference is JBL would have a legitimate reason for doing so instead of just picking random newcomer and molesting him. Edit: No wonder Matt is on RAW.

Worst excuse to get out of a job/angle?
Lil' Bitch replied to Epic Reine's topic in General Wrestling
Another favorite excuse of mine is "I'll job to the guy next month, I swear!" Speaking of Ahmed, I'm not sure if it was just kayfabe or not, but seeing him usually hanging out with HBK gave me good hopes he would get him somewhere, but I guess he grew an ego even larger than Michaels (if that was even possible) Well, that and almost getting killed in the Elimination Chamber by Rob. I mean granted, it was purely accidental, but I'm sure its another reason for HHH holding a grudge. -
What was the significance of Hogan being on The Snake Pit right before WM 3? I keep hearing about it, but I've never seen it so I wouldn't know.
-
I like how it is with them just taking out the F when they say WWF, its a lot better than removing an entire sentence over one initial.
-
The only time I want to see Greg Valentine back on TV is to get RKO'ed.
-
I disagree. Yeah, it was rushed, but unlike JBL, Lesnar actually proved his worth being the main event as a credible champion plus he's had matches with Rock, Undertaker, Big Show, Edge, Angle, Benoit, and Guerrero that I've all enjoyed. Yeah, but like Jericho, Kane is bulletproof and fans are still with him even through the shittest of angles. Stick Kane in the title scene won't be too hard, he's still believable as a monster and WILL have fans support. I mean he wasn't too far off behind Michaels in the Taboo voting(right after he came back from almost 3 month absence I remind you) so that goes to show me fans would want to see him headlining a title match.
-
I wouldn't mind an Angle / Cena double turn, that'd be interesting and would make sense seeing how the crowds are reacting now. I'd like to see Angle / Kane, that would be something new since they never really wrestled that much. I don't want to see Angle / Show again, too much of that.
