I always enjoyed Camp Cornette beating down the Warrior on RAW and sending him back to Parts Unknown. Agreed.

I had a dream where I told Brian Knobs that wrestling was fake and then he punched me in the face.

Stone Cold Vs. The Undertaker, SummerSlam 1998 Build-up video
-
Thankfully, I have most of the HIAC matches due to my DVD collection. That's a shame. It was one of the best build-up videos EVER made.
-
Well, this sucks. I was looking forward to seeing them continue the Benjamin / Kennedy feud.

The problem with Cyclops is that he's too boring. I think the X-Men franchise can be fixed if FOX can bring back Singer seeing how Ratner did a horrible job with the last film. Besides, there's more villains they can use: The White Queen, Sauron, Mr. Sinister, APOCALYPSE.

Okay, that makes sense. Good review, Jingus. As I mentioned above, I HATED the fact they changed his origin by having the gangsters slaughter Castle's ENTIRE family. That was just overkill and not in a good way either. Edit: Thomas Jane left from doing the Punisher sequel because he hated the script. After his departure, there was a new script that eventually became this film. So the irony is had Jane stuck around, he would've gotten what he wanted.

Meet The Spartans was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. All the funny parts were in the trailer.

Batista is featured on one of the worst PPV posters WWE has ever made. It looks like he's trying to emulate Bill Bixby from the Incredible Hulk TV series opening.
-
I guess Jason is back to being "normal" in this one.

Where the fuck is Hawkman?!! I liked him in MK2 before he became Cyber Commando.

I'm disappointed they couldn't wait for WM to book Cena Vs. Batista. I'd like to see Jericho win the Royal Rumble and main event Wrestlemania, but I don't think he'll be playing face again for a long time. I could see them booking Kennedy Vs. HHH I'd love to see Shawn Michaels Vs. Undertaker, but I wouldn't be surprised if they booked Cena Vs. Undertaker.

IIRC they were going to shoot the movie in New York, but LionsGate were dicks and slashed the film's budget in half from 30 mil to 15 mil. They filmed it in Tampa because it was cheaper.

I love battle royals myself. One of my favorites IIRC was a televised 20 man battle royal in 1989 that Bret Hart won.

The Sandman's living the gimmick!

I was pretty shocked when Goldberg won the title. I figured Bill was going to win by DQ so Hogan would keep the belt and Goldberg kept the Streak intact. It's a shame they used it on Nitro because it would've been the perfect main event for Bash At The Beach, much better than that crap tag team match they had instead. Ugh.

Yeah, that was it! Thanks! Good shit.

Either that or I could see Creed in the background performing.

My expectations for this movie were higher than any in recent years, and I came away with what is probably the best movie watching experience I have had...ever. To see a movie of this calibur with a packed house has set the bar of future movie ventures so high I'm not sure anything else will reach it. I didn't think it could top the recent awesomeness of Iron Man, but this one does, and by a fair margin, and I loved Iron Man. All the cast members put up a great performance, but Heath Ledger stole the entire movie (Watching Nicholson's Joker will never feel right again.) This movie deserves a second, Hell maybe even third veiwing in the theater and will be part of my DVD collection the very day it's released. 10 out of 10. Easily. This just isn't a great comic book film, it's a great movie in it's own right. To sum up, everyone involved with The Dark Knight should be proud of themselves. It's a resounding success on all fronts and hopefully it'll win some Academy awards in the future.

Although X-Men 4 being made would probably be difficult (older actors either wanting more money or wanting to move on), I just hope it gets made because X-Men 3 just ended on such a shitty note. I'd rather have Marvel continue with it, maybe more focus on the younger X-Men team members, rather than rebooting the entire movie franchise.
-
Supposedly, the word going around is that depending on how well Wolverine does at the box office will determine if X-Men 4 gets made or not. Nothing. It was done just for fan service since Gambit got shafted from being in the X-Men trilogy. I thought he was great in Waiting and Just Friends.

A remake / reboot / re-imagining of F13 was inevitable since its hard to come up with new ideas for the series. Originally, I was against it, but I really enjoyed the Halloween remake so I'll give the new Friday movie a chance. I'm just curious if Jason will be a normal person again or still the Juggernaut Zombie? Another problem with the Friday movies is that some of them wouldn't even bother the follow the events of the last film, which was fucking annoying so its better off they start off fresh again. I'm disappointed though that they're not going to make a Freddy Vs. Jason sequel. I wanted to see a rematch. Agreed. Plus it had that awesome Alice Cooper song played during the credits. True. I always forget about that. Better to re-establish the franchise with Jason as the lead since it turned out that way although I hope they showed an "updated" flashback of Mrs. Voorhes getting decapitated. The TCM remake was good. The Beginning sucked ass. Of course, other posters will disagree with me on this. Jason X wasn't meant to be taken seriously. It was all tongue in cheek with Jason just being made into the Terminator. I enjoyed Jason as the super zombie. It made him more scary knowing it was hard to stop him due to "the curse." It made sense. Besides, they fucked it all up anyway in Part 3 with Jason no selling his neck getting broken, but gets taken down with an axe to the face, WTF?!!

He's been working NWE and some Indy shows last time I checked.

The Things That Anger You Thread.

I forgot to mention that, thanks. I guess you're one of the millions of Americans that don't actually chew their food, but just wolf it down. -
Last time I checked, they were using Ultimo Dragon's WWE theme for Steamboat at least on RAW and recent PPVs and stuff like that.
