My point is if Batista threw Cena's ass out to begin with, I wouldn't have had a problem with the ending. But they decided to do the double finish, which also I did not have a problem with. My gripe is they restarted the match when it was clearly obvious Batista landed first and THE REFS SAW THAT and they still had Batista win even though it should have been Cena. If WWE chooses to ignore facts, the booking committee is even shittier than we believe it to be. Edit: If they wanted Batista to win, they shouldn't have done the double finish to begin with.

Benoit Vs. Guerrero

I feel so bad for Randy. Everything was all good for him to go, they had him planned to win the title ever since Lesnar bounced, then they pushed him too fast, turned him face right off the bat, didn't even give him a decent reign as world champion, then they did the Batista tease and everybody ate that up instead and fucked up booking so WWE had to go with what the fans wanted. So now instead of sharing the spotlight with John Cena at WM 21 to signify them as the leaders of the new WWE Generation, Randy is probably gonna lose some meaningless match and leave Los Angeles a broken and bitter man with a potential career cut so short. *Sigh

Here's a link to download the awesome RR 2005 video package from tonight That's what I was thinking and hoping they would have done and keep the fans happy since both of their favorites won and then Vince made the f'n annoucement. I would have been just fine with the original outcome. Don't fix it if its not broken. I disagree. I feel Cena / JBL would be a better build-up. They're both complete opposites of each other character-wise. Cena could either interrupt one of JBL's victory speeches or JBL could just attack Cena and blame him for the downfall of the youth of America. Possible JBL could even cost Cena the US title at NWO to set up the feud or build up on it. Cena's been stuck in mid-card for 16 months and has been a good US Champion, is very well over, but has yet to win the big one. The heel WWE champion JBL has had such a long reign as it is. The story write itself.

I think Snitsky and Edge would be wonderful replacements for Batista and Orton. You can call this Evolution Version 2.0 Edit: WWE could always fuck it up and have Batista go to SD to challenge JBL for the WWE Championship.
-
I wanna see Orton / Undertaker also. It'd be a better match than that shit tag team match they're wanting to do.
-
Fun fact: John Cena (as The Prototype) defeated Dave Batista (as Leviathan) win his first OVW World Heavyweight Title
-
So for NWO, I predict: JBL / Show Cena / Jordan Booker / Eddie Bashams / Dudleyz or some thrown together tag team Puder / Holly Angle probably doing an invitational challenge More Undertaker / Heidenreich whackiness! HBK possibly making an appearance to add to the Angle / Michaels feud. and NWO being The Cabinet's night as they will have all the gold once Jordan wins the US title from Cena as Armageddon 2003 was for Evolution!

*holds up his "CENA WAS ROBBED" sign
-
Fuck! I wanted Cena to win, they should have kept the ending as it was to keep both sides happy! I know the double draw has been overdone, but still! And wtf happened to Puder? Wasn't he supposed to be number one? Edit: I keep forgetting Angle was the mystery man from SD, I kept hoping number 30 would be Lesnar because in the truly awesome video package for the Royal Rumble, there was no footage of him shown!

I can't see Orton jobbing to HHH for a third time on PPV and I'm not expecting HHH to drop the title so soon after getting it so I'm expecting a shitty DQ / Draw finish.
-
Batista refuses to sign CCC's petition!
-
Vengeance 2003 this match will not be.
-
And the WCW title match goes after the WWE title match, go figure.
-
Taker wins, YES!
-
None, he jobbed to Yokozuna and HBK.
-
Good grief, that Undertaker / Heidenreich at SSeries was AWFUL, I don't expect this to be any better.
-
I wonder if Flair is gonna get # 3 again.
-
Snitsky's there with Heidenreich so he's gonna cost Taker the match which will led to that awful tag team match at WM.
-
WOO! Edge won! Of course, it wasn't clean, but still! WOO! Anybody know any sites that give live audio streaming of the PPV? A friend of mine is asking.
-
Which Rumbles had 2 minute intervals?
-
Nah, I'm sure the Rumble will be last like it has been for the past 6 years. Edit: I predict the Bashams opponents will be Holly / Haas.
-
I would have gone with Hardcore Heaven myself since that's the closest PPV ECW had to June.

Probably just alternate commentary. Ventura gets paid for the WWE stuff already since it keeps getting re-released so that's more royalties for him.
