Really long delayed response: Yet Stephanie could take the US title back from the IC Title even though she had no authority over a belt on RAW? By the way, I love the fact the WWE recognizes the lineage of the US title even after a new belt design, but chooses not to do that with the WCW Title lineage even though it kept the same belt design.

Actually, in some countries, they actually do put rubber gloves / coating on the chicken feet to prevent major chicken injuries and/or death so they can fight any day. This way the sport is kept humane to a degree.
