I don't know what state you live in, but here's info on what happens for a first offense in my state. Penalties for DUI in Nevada The penalties for driving under the influence depend on whether one has had a DUI conviction within the past SEVEN (7) years. This calculation is made based on the time between the date of the prior arrest to the date of the current arrest. CONVICTION: A person that pleads no contest, pleads guilty or is found guilty at trial is subject to the following judicial penalties: DUI FIRST OFFENSE: JAIL: 48 hours up to a maximum of SIX (6) months imprisonment, or, at least NINETY-SIX (96) hours of community service. The court may allow you to do community service in lieu of the mandatory jail time. FINES AND ASSESSMENTS: A minimum of THREE HUNDRED FORTY DOLLARS ($340.00) to a maximum of ONE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($1,175.00) (fines and assessments). As Benoit's hand got closer, Flair's hand slowly moved away and then he just stepped down from the apron and left him to the wolves. Arn Anderson comes out of nowhere and tries to replace Flair, but then Saturn came out of nowhere and told AA he was going to take Flair's place so Arn let him and the match continued until Perry nailed DDP I think with the DVD to win the tag team titles.
