I was hoping The Rock was going to Rock Bottom Foley right after the match ended. *misses heel Rock

Hate to throw cold water on Benoit's victory but..
Lil' Bitch replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in The WWE Folder
Me too. I mean here I was expecting another Booker T treatment where HHH could as easily had the biggest fucking ego case ever by putting himself in the main event of OMG THE BIGGEST PPV OF ALL TIME~!!. That didn't happen. He didn't put himself over (as was expected). He didn't put over his best buddy again. No. He put Chris Benoit over. Cleanly. And for that, I thank him for that, my HHHate is now gone. Well, Heyman fucked him over to begin with and knowing Benoit, I'm sure he didn't feel like wasting his time putting up with Heyman's bullshit, so he jumped over and got what he wanted (A world title). By doing so, it makes Heyman look bad since he basically said you will never be the world champion. Very similar to when Bischoff sent Big Show over to SD because he was a loser and then Big Show won the title, that pissed Bischoff and automatically made him look bad. -
I had to point to one of my buddies that sending Benoit back to SD when the next PPV, a RAW one, which is taking place in his hometown would be fucking retarded. *would like to see RVD, Jericho and Hurricane go to SD

I thought it was Terry Funk at first coming through the torches. Nah, seriously though, it was a weird but a nice blend of the American Badass with his classic Phenom mannerisms. The entrance was superb, but he could have at least worn the gray gloves.

Pretty much.

I'm hoping to see Guerrero / Show main event JD.
-
Last night at WM 20 would be on a great way to go out.
-
No idea, but hey MA got the RR and Backlash last year and CA got NWO and JD this year.
-
When was the last time HHH lost by tapping out?
-
Yeah, it was cool. The set was a total surprise as I was expecting them to come out though the classic 2 big ass doors like they did at WM X and SSeries 2002.
-
If Brock wasn't leaving, he wouldn't have lost, IMO.
-
Good question.
-
Here here With the way Kane got fucking destroyed tonight, I was actually hoping Pete Rose would come out and cost Kane the match as payback the attacks at past WMs instead.
-
Yeah, what a fucking waste. Correct.
-
Well, its obvious we'll never get a WM ever again, but as long as they pick us to do a PPV (even one of the mediocre ones), you can bet your ass I'll be happy and will be in attendance.

I didn't like Brock getting the title in record time, but Brock / Rock made up for it, IMO.

It was a lot better than I was expecting. Cena / Show - Great work from them as usual. Nice to see Cena with midcarder gold now. RAW's Tag Titles Fatal 4 Way - Didn't care really, but RVD / Booker won so that's cool. Christian / Jericho - Very good match, hated the finish though. Rock & Foley / Evolution - I was very surprised they put Evolution over. The finish just came out of nowhere. I'm glad Flair was added because he made the match ten times better. Very good along with some great crowd reaction. Divas Tag Team - Some T & A in decent time. Stripping down to bras and panties was also surprising. Nothing harm done here. I wish Rico accompanied Miss Jackie though. The Cruiserweight Open - Very disappointing. Definitely should have been given more time with everybody they were working with. I feel so bad for Ultimo for slipping. Funaki only getting 5 seconds in. Kidman almost killing himself. Chavo Guerrero retaining didn't help either. And WTF was up with Rey? Is it going to be a WM tradition for him every year dressing up like a superhero? Goldberg / Lesnar - A huge disappointment for many for this dream match, especially for me. Definitely not what I had hoped to see. It could have been just so much better. Seeing Vince's golden boy jobbing to WCW's pet project clean on WWE holy ground will always be another shocking moment for me. The crowd hate was just phenominal. Goldberg getting the fuck booed out of him was beautiful. And finally every WWE fan got their wish of seeing Austin stun Goldberg. SD's Tag Title Fatal 4 Way - Scotty & Rikishi retained. Ugh. Victoria / Molly - I was actually hoping Molly would win by DQ so she could retain her hair while Victoria could retain the title. I was just hoping they would copout on the hair cut like they did with Nash. Poor, poor Molly. I was also said to not see Steven Richards come out. Angle / Guerrero - Absolutely terrific. Every second of it. I loved it. It could have gone either way. Angle was just booked very strong in this match, so much I actually thought he was gonna pull it off. Undertaker / Kane - Kane was just horribly slaughtered. There's no other way to put it. Definitely not the match I saw 6 years ago (especially when it took THREE tombstones to beat Kane then). And with that, I saw Kane's career die tonight and I no longer care about him. Chris Benoit / HHH / Shawn Michaels - HHH jobbed the title to Chris Benoit in the main event of WM 20 clean. Never saw it coming. Just wow, I'm still in disbelief. The one thing I never thought was going to happen...happened and I can't thank WWE enough for it. Eddie coming in to close with him just added to the greatness. The match was also good as it kept me guessing the entire time.

I enjoyed the Sep 4th one from SD last year much better even with Brock's interference at the end.
-
I'd mark out if he went back to being the silent badass again.
-
especially on WWE holy ground. I fixed it.
-
I agree, had we not received the news of Brock leaving WWE to play for the NFL, we never would have heard those great words of "You Sold Out!" By the way, Goldberg getting his ass booed to Scott Steiner levels was another great WM moment.
-
I just went there and I'm so happy WWE counts Benoit's world title win in WCW even if WCW and Benoit himself don't recognize it. I don't know why. I did that right after Benoit won the Rumble.
-
I'm just wondering what the hell she did backstage to deserve what she got tonight. I was hoping for a copout to the hair cut.
