Huge Update On Chris Benoit's WWE Future
Lil' Bitch replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
For some reason, I have no idea why, WWE loves to recognize Benoit's WCW title win. According to WCW, "it never happened" and even Benoit himself doesn't recognize his own world title win. -
That was Spanky. Anyway, I read A-Train is in the Rumble, so who are the last remaning four from SD to complete the participation?

Huge Update On Chris Benoit's WWE Future
Lil' Bitch replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
They wanted to have one World Champion so they unified the WCW World and WWE Championship titles into the Undisputed Championship. Both belts were carried by Chris Jericho after he won that tournament at Vengeance. After HHH won it from him, he had the two titles formed into one brand new designed belt. They decided to do the split and the title changed hands from HHH to Hulk Hogan to The Undertaker to The Rock to Brock Lesnar. Kayfabe-wise, Stephanie signing Brock exclusively to Smackdown for a large sum of money and the former WCW World title was resurrected by Bischoff on RAW and he gave it to HHH. So basically, they split the belts apart, but they kept the UDC design for the WWE Championship. That's how I look at it. -

JR assures to remind fans week after week of that fact every time Jericho comes out. -

RRR, if you don't mind me quoting you, I just loved these so much because truer words were never typed. -

No Mercy 2000 this will not be. Benoit himself doesn't recognize his own world title win. Not that I can blame though. -
I support my house shows.

Huge Update On Chris Benoit's WWE Future

So they're not going with Michaels / Benoit at WM for the title... FUCK! -
If they watched Judgment Day last year, JR informed the viewers, before the Battle Royale, started of that fact.

In 1995, two wrestling companies squared off on Monday night television to compete head to head in an unprecedented confrontation. On one side, Vince McMahon, the promotor who created WWE and made the industry what it is today. On the other, WCW, owned by media giant Ted Turner, and run by an ambitious man named Eric Bischoff. This is the whole story, told by those who created it, lived it, and survived it. The Monday Night War! DVD Extras: 86 minutes of the matches and events that changed the face of sports-entertainment. Two matches from RAW: - Stone Cold Steve Austin & Shawn Michaels vs. British Bulldog & Owen Hart - Shawn Michaels & Triple H vs. Legion of Doom Two matches from NITRO: - Chris Benoit vs. Booker T - Goldberg vs. Hulk Hogan Plus more! Credit: Silvervision (I find it hilarious they recycled McMahon's picture from the WM 19 cover)

The Monday Night War The Stone Cold Truth Kurt Angle's and The Best of Confidential Vol. 2, is all I can think of.

I beg you to bring a "SPARK PLUG SUCKS!" sign. It would bring a tear to my eye.

Talented guy who reminds me of Hugh Hefner > Not so talented and annoying Elvis impersonator
-
This exactly happened after SummerSlam ended when everyone was celebrating McMahon's B-Day. *goes on to bitch why they couldn't have included the aftershow bash as an extra / easter egg on the DVD

1991 - Bushwhacker Luke, such a classic sight. 1993 - Savage literally getting launched over the top rope to be eliminated last in the RR; seconds after retardedly trying to win it by pinning Yokozuna. I know it was a stupid finish, but I still get a kick out of it everytime. 1994 - The double elimination of Luger and Hart, still unbelievable to see. 2003 - Shawn Michaels
-
Oh yeah, forgot about Jazz. Thanks, Mike.

I'd figured them being there would have been the perfect reason for Goldberg to get distracted and lose the battle royale. Much similar to the RR '99 ending.

No, "The Legend Killer" schtick they're trying to burn in my mind forever even though I'm not taking the gimmick seriously. Please do tell what legends Orton has been able to "kill" thus far? Well then, you should stick to waiting. Almost everyone has a life outside of their work environment. This includes wrestlers. And the (Insert Wrestler Name Here) hate isn't? Why? Just because he didn't win the title at Armageddon? I refuse to believe that because even though he got the big push last year and was hurt by the feud with Shane, he still has something going for him because Spoiler (Highlight to Read): IF he defeats The Undertaker at WM XX and ends the streak, that would ONLY help build his character to be even stronger. Logically, that act alone would cause reason for him to get into the main event picture again. So I wouldn't pull the plug on him. Not now. Add Victoria, Jazz, and Ivory next to Molly's name and I agree with you although it would be good / decent worker. I don't like Test, but he did have a good match against Val Venis last year at the house show I went to along with that match on Heat one time. I'll give him that and I agree with you on the interesting case part. Booker T's suffering from wear and tear so I can understand his reasoning. I can also understand RVD's point (although its not wear and tear). Rob has the right to bitch, but he's not going to leave just because he's not getting what he deserves although Goldberg might. Shit, I'd be the happiest fan on the planet that day if he won that title even if it was for a short reign. This is one of many reasons why I suggest people to attend house shows as well as taped ones

To quote Aero: Oh yeah and I forgot about that Thanks, DrVenkman. Don't be. I wouldn't have paid to order it live since they weren't good overall.
-
Can't wait for Bret's books to come out.

^ Congrats to Aero and ChrisMWaters, hope you guys enjoy the show. Anyway, I wasn't looking forward to the PPV at first, but then I realized the RR isn't predictable this year as it has been in the past since there are so many possible winners this time (Benoit, Angle, Goldberg, Cena, Chris Jericho). I'm hoping for Shawn Michaels to win the title. I'm going to enjoy watching Brock kick the ever loving shit out of Holly. I'm not for Guerrero / Guerrero as its not the great feud I remember back from 1998, but the CW match makes up for it. And RAW might give a decent / good Heat match. Cheers.

It was a fucking accident. Deal with it.

Finally, some things we can agree upon. No. Kind of hard to get over when you got a joke gimmick.

Hulk Hogan Set For Jimmy Kimmel This Week
Lil' Bitch replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
In all seriousness though, if Hogan can come back for WM 20 and work the dream match with Austin, I would gladly pay for the PPV just to see it. It would be my biggest mark-out time ever and it would be perfect for a double retirement match. -
Because some of us are waiting for the day when the title holder's name isn't HHH, HBK, or Fuck Goldberg. Much like the Flair hate, we don't see the big fucking deal with Orton. By the way, I think its hilarious how people like to criticize the ways of other people's criticism.
