So which movie is the Rock going to do first
Lil' Bitch replied to Lil' Bitch's topic in Television & Film
Nevermind, the Rock noted that he's getting ready to film "Spy Hunter" when he was on Regis & Kelly. -
King Kamehameha Based Upon: This movie is based upon the 18th century Hawaiian tribal leader, King Kamehameha I (1758-1819), who conquered the seven Hawaiian islands and made them a single kingdom under his rule. Premise: This is the epic adventure of how an 18th century Hawaiian tribal leader, Kamehameha (The Rock), conquered the seven main islands of Hawaii, and eventually linked the four tribes together as a single kingdom under his rule, which established them as a nation rather than a collection of feuding tribes. The timing couldn't have been more perfect, as this consolidation also allowed King Kamehameha to more adequately deal with the English explorers who came to the islands, who brought to Hawaii the wonders of modern technology (some of which he used to his advantage in his wars to solidify rule of the islands). Spy Hunter Based Upon: The video game franchise that started with the hit arcade game "Spy Hunter" in 1983, which has had various incarnations in the 20 years since, including versions for the Nintendo NES and (today), Game Boy Advance, GameCube, Play Station 2 and XBox. Premise: Former F-15 pilot Alec Sects (The Rock) is recruited to become a member of a government agency called International Espionage Services (IES), specifically joining an elite group called the Spy Hunters. Piloting an experimental battle-car, the G-6155 Interceptor, with all varieties of weapons and gimmicks (including the ability to transform into a speed boat or a super-fast motorcycle), Sects and his fellow Spy Hunters are given the assignment of defeating Daemon Curry, the evil president of a cartel called NOSTRA International, which has plans of world domination. Of course, the bad guys have their own souped-up weapon-packed vehicles, and they don't like being "hunted".

Out of all their matches, how many times has HHH put Jericho over? Oh yeah, one time only.
-
Even though he was supposed to job that night. Anyway, about HHH being gone for awhile: *sings "Beautiful Day" Good riddance to bad rubbish.

US Champion The Big Show? It just doesn't sound right. I would rather have John Cena, Chris Benoit, or Chavo Guerrero taking the strap from Eddie. It would fit a lot better.

Nothing really major, but its irritatating to me how they had HBK with "the boyhood dream" tag shortly before WM XII. I don't recall anything of the like being mentioned when he was going against Diesel the previous year.

Unlike many wrestling stars, Johnson owns his wrestling persona. Vince McMahon, chairman of World Wrestling Entertainment turned The Rock over to Johnson. In return, McMahon becomes an executive producer on all Johnson's films. He's not an ass about things if he is asked to job, he will. I don't fault anyone for bettering their career and making more money that's just holding a grudge and being jealous. That's like saying "My friend hates me because I move onto something better." Wrestling puts im on the road 250 days a year, doing movies doesn't do that. Can't say I blame him. You need to realize there are things bigger than wrestling and to boo the Rock for doing something to better his life is just stupid. Regis asked if Rock gave up the wrestling business. Rock said that he grew up in the business and he hasn't completely given it up, but he's concentrating on working with actors. I don't see the Rock completely giving up on wrestling, he loves his job, its in his blood, but then again he got bit by the action bug which would explain why he wants to do Hollywood more. If you were in his shoes, would you pass up the chance of a lifetime? Didn't think so.

Victoria was HOT!

HHH might as well just hold it until Armageddon just to say he held it for a full year.

The Rock told Sci-Fi Wire that the rumor of him taking over the lead role of Dutch in a third-installment of the "Predator" series is without backing. He noted that it was just an Internet rumor, likely started by the writer. Of course, it is not yet known if The Rock is at all interested. -
For some reason, I was a wee lad at the time, I only got to see the two above matches. And since, it was the only SNME show I ever saw in my life, it gets my vote for best edition. Plus, it was remarkable to see Sid do his heel turn by just ditching Hogan to get beat down by Flair and Undertaker.

Yay, go Bashams! I talked to Stamboli back in El Paso, he said he prefers being bald. He doesn't like messing with his hair, it annoys him. -
