The Benoit / Jarrett ladder match was pretty good though as was the Guerrero / Syxx ladder match. I just got done watching after downloading them off Kazaa.
-
lol, I loved that game. Who were on the teams? Anybody know where I can find a good version of the Evolution theme? I can't believe I'm typing this, but I miss Batista. O_O

Which is strange because Superstar was used for the song during the WM Event Review Ending Video and I thought it was fucking stupid that they showed DP performing WHILE they played the HHH/Jericho prefight footage, it took away a lot of the prefight excitement. You know, when you get into the mood of seeing the match after you watch the build-up video?

Speaking of Bret, I found a song called "Never Been A Right Time (To Say Goodbye)" in which Bret doesn't really sing, he just...talks. Its a love song. Could somebody explain this?
-
Probably because HHH and HBK are bed buddies and were fighting to see whose turn it was to bend over for that night. I like Saliva's previous theme "Superstar" that was used for WMXVIII (although I thought "Tear Away" was the main theme), but I liked "Click Click Boom" used for No Mercy 2001 the best.
-
What? We're just giving feedback about Bret's feedback about the last RAW.

Exactly, Kurt Angle does NOT suck so why would you say that to him if you LIKE him? It doesn't make any sense at all. You think the crowd would chant "You Rule" instead. When did the "You Suck" chant start anyway? I remember after Edge shaved Angle bald at JD last year, Edge had them play Kurt's music and encouraged the crowd to chant "You're Bald" and they did, that was pretty funny.

I saw this guy in action, he fucking sucks ass. Thank God they didn't make Rico put this champ over. Of course, if AUSTIN says something, its gonna stick to fans / marks like flies on shit. God, I hate that. And WHAT? is the lamest thing WWE ever came up with.
-
Thanks. I hope either of these guys (including Matt Hardy) wins it. FUCK YOU BILLY GUNN!
-
^ He's right though. If Vince didn't fuck Bret over (which happened more than once), Bret would have stayed. Sadly, WCW didn't know what the fuck to do with Bret which basically ruined what was left of his character / career.

Christopher Walken always plays a great villain and Sean Scott is always a comedy relief (except for Final Destination, they made him a bitch in that movie). The movie sounds interesting. Damn it, I wanna see a trailer already! Anyway, it just pisses me off how the Rock is one of WWE's biggest stars and he never got his great WM moment. Everybody wanted him or Mick Foley to win. That was their night! And what does Vince do? He lets HHH win, who gets his great WM moment 2 years later, those two assholes!
-
Good song, I like Blurry better though.
-
Holy shit, he was on the X-Files? That's tight, I didn't know that. Although I'm sure the episode would have had great comedy relief had Goldust and Kane been in it.

+ = the tag team of SnowStorm with potential outstanding matches and hiliarious promos / segments. I think it would work out great if WWE knew how to improve their tag division.

When I went to Raw in April, sitting near me were some HHH marks. First there was like a 16 year old girl who went crazy every time there was someone with long blond hair. She had an "I Love HHH" sign. During a backstage segment, Flair called HHH the best world champion of all time. So naturally I yelled out "Yeah only cause you're banging Stephanie". The girl gave me a look like "I can't believe you just said that about my man." Props to ya, never be afraid to speak your mind. And I enjoyed flipping that mofo off at the house show I went to. Flair pointed me out to him, the look on Trip's face: priceless. "Is there anyone in WCW that you don't like?" I can list at least a dozen guys from WCW I didn't like. Problem was WWE didn't bring a lot of those guys over. RVD vs. Kane match. We all cheered RVD. Kid says "RVD stands for very dumb retard." WTF? How old was this kid would you say? Anyway, it pissed me off how RVD wasn't getting cheered as much as Jeff was during their feud (at the house show I went to anyway which was 2 days before SummerSlam).

I know he was in Black Mask 2, haven't seen it though. Too bad Jet Li didn't reprise his role. What other movies has Rob been in?
-
I find the idea of Steiner / Nash in an Iron Match to be fucking hilarious.
-
Matt is on the verge of being the next U.S. Champion. If WWE doesn't screw it up, Benoit / Hardy has potential classic written all over it. Its the number one match I'm looking most forward to watching because both of these guys are some of my top faves on SD. Strangely enough, it was Jeff who won all the male titles EXCEPT the world title. Do you think Matt Hardy has what it takes to be a world champion and would fans/marks buy it?
-
Its weird knowing that 2001 would have been Austin / HHH (as a face?) feud the whole year and instead Vince pulled the Invasion idea right out of his ass at the last minute. Just weird that Invasion wasn't even suppose to happen...damn flukes.
-
I miss those days. Anyway, RVD can't really act. Why? Because he's really being himself. So when he cuts promos / is in segments, he's no actor. He's being the real Rob (can't pronounce / spell his real last name), but you know what I mean.

MY Era Idea: WWWF Era - Sammartino, Backland were around along with the other earlier guys fighting for the title. Classic WWF Era - Started when Hogan won the belt (01/24/84) New Generation Era - Started when Bret Hart won the world title (WMX) Attitude Era - Started when Austin first won the world title. (WMXIV) McMahon / Helmsley Era - Started Armageddon '99, (paused during HHH's 2001 absence went back to Attitude during that point) resumed when HHH returned, ended WMXVIII. Brand Extension / WWE Era - Started when the Draft happened, still going... Would Invasion into Alliance, a five month angle, really considered an era though?
-
I remember it now. Good match, as usual from both of them. Well, actually wouldn't his last match in 2002 have been against Brock Lesnar?
-
"Walking Tall" stars the Rock...in a western. How weird is that? Anyway, since the Rock has said over and over, that he's beaten everybody, I think a WM match between him and HBK should happen. Its never been done before and they're both popular. Rock Vs. Michaels = potential classic. What was his last match in early 2002? I remember him being on SD a few times before just being suddenly gone a few weeks heading into Backlash.
-
I agree. He came in first ala 1995. The only difference was that he was the first guy out. That made me laugh the whole night after. I could have sworn RVD and Edge were on the list. Not sure about Booker though.

Zack Gowen, if the guy wants to wrestle, let him wrestle, its what he's wanted to do. I feel bad for him, the guy lost his leg. He couldn't help it and has had to deal with it during his life. Yes, he's handicapped, but he's not total shit out of luck. And if he can wrestle good (yes, he'll need his plastic leg to help him out with applying more moves), that's even better. Isn't that what you want to see from him? I'm enjoying the storyline although Hogan shouldn't have been a prick and left Zack on his own. (You'd figure Hogan would have been the one to help Zack actually get his "contract" at the end of the match.) The only problem is the Gowen / McMahon takes up way too much attention on SD and I can see why the SD locker room moral is low. And I thought it was complete idiocy for them to book Gowen / McMahon for A PPV? Most people don't want to shell out $35 to see that shit, but then again, any time that Vince McMahon / Big Show get beat up is good time, but not a rookie.
