^ It was actually Piper. Sting defeated Hogan the following year winning back the WCW World Heavyweight Title courtesy of Savage's interference.

Probably because nobody wanted to be his friend on there.

How reliable is Amazon for ordering and shipping?
Lil' Bitch replied to brokentusk16's topic in Technology
I never had a problem with Amazon. If anything, its more reliable than E-Bay sometimes. -
Wow, this is really shocking to hear. I hope he gets better and comes back soon. Honestly though, he should have done this after WM XXII.

Another DVD I'm glad to skip on.

On top of that, at SSeries 93, Jim Cornette cuts a promo for The Foreign Fanatics, I can't remember how it went, but I remember it being pretty good. However, in the middle of it, it sounds likes he says "Fuck" or "Fucking" when he insults Todd Pettengill. Did anybody else ever notice that? I'm sure I must be hearing otherwise. Can anybody clarify this?

I always thought it was Jeff Hardy myself.

The last high profile job that actually meant something I think would be HHH jobbing to Cena clean at Mania 22. I remember that one time on RAW (I think following NYR) Batista jobbed to Orton via a roll-up and we got the classic Angry Bleeding Face Batista Expression.

Did Savage and Hennig ever have a match against each other?
-
I want to see London and Kendrick Vs. Finlay & Regal damn it!

Foley was pissed at Flair for holding him down in WCW, how was Mick the heel?
-
Edge should have had the Spinner belt blown up like JBl did with the US title.

Chavo / Rey - Good opener, glad Chavo won. Sabu / Show - good match Hogan / Orton - Hogan should have jobbed, period. This match just showed how much of a complete asshole he is. Flair / Foley - Great match, but I hated the finish. Yes, I understood the story they were telling, but that doesn't mean I have to like or agree with it. Batista / Booker - Such a letdown match. DX / McMahon - Some of the most BORING shit I've ever seen. Edge / Cena - I know people are happy Edge retained, but having Cena job in his hometown in the main event of the PPV, I'm sorry that's bullshit. So overall, a few good things, but this PPV was a HUGE letdown. Hell, even GAB last month was better than this. Note to WWE creative: Try actually putting some effort into making a PPV worth $40 rather than relying on the name to sell.

You know after watching that, they should have just kept HBK face. He was over still, there really was no need for it. If Michaels' injury was bad as they said it was, under no way, shape, or form would he have agreed to do that angle where he gets beat up.

Funny how things work out:

I doubt Hogan will want to lose clean to Orton (I just can't see it) so I'm just begging, BEGGING for Brooke to either accidentally cost her dad the match or just completely turn on him and side with Orton. I'd mark out big time for that.

Yeah, sadly I've been getting used to that happening on the big name PPVs, especially Wrestlemania (aside from this year)
-
You know looking at it on paper, its actually a pretty good card compared to previous SummerSlams, but I think the predictability of it all kinda kills it for most of you guys I think.

Cena and Batista are both getting world title shots for their respective brands, its Wrestlemania 21 all over again!
-
I still say Flair / Foley would have been better as a steel cage match. Its so weird to look at the SummerSlam card and see The Undertaker not on it (I already know about the Khali situation). He missed out on his first SummerSlam back in 1991 for whatever reason.

Apparantly, I didn't miss much with the Diva Search, all the contestants are pretty forgettable except Carlito's wife.

I don't like the Autobots being outnumbered, but that's just me.

Strangely, somehow I could imagine Hogan pitching to Vince the idea of Rock / Hogan being for the Undisputed Championship.
