"Lady in the Water" reviews & thoughts

I saw the trailer for the movie and I could already say it looked fucking retarded. I haven't forgiven him for the shitfest of a movie called the Village. Fool me once, shame on you. Feel me twice, shame on me and that ain't happening!

    Smackdown Spoilers for the 7/21

The main event is given away the show before the PPV?!! WTF is wrong with these people?!!
  3. About HBK''s whining the next night, Michaels was just being a fucking bitch because Hogan wouldn't job to him. WTF was he expecting? Don't forget he didn't sell for the Undertaker at SSeries, which further covered his burial.

    OAO Raw - 7/17

Wow, RAW sucked ass last night. I'm glad I'm still a Smackdown fan. I can see why they're pushing Umaga so hard. Its probably because they realized they fucked up with Show and Kane in the past so I think they want to start fresh with a new monster heel.
  7. ^ Yeah that's a good point, but then again, Goldberg was still squashing jobbers on Nitro / Thunder even when he was the WCW Champion. Ugh...
  8. Hogan / Savage - Well, for one thing, Hogan never jobbed to Savage properly ever (pinfall) out of all their years of feuding so I can see why that would piss Savage off. Then Savage accused Hogan of having an affair with Elizabeth and blamed him for the failure of his marriage. Savage then came out with that silly rap CD saying he wanted to kick Hogan's ass. Confronted backstage by Hogan at a TNA show, Savage turned into a little bitch when Hogan offered to give him the fight he so badly wanted, LOL. Hogan / Hart - Hogan had no interest in putting Hart over at SummerSlam 1993 because according to him, Bret wasn't a draw. Hogan also talked shit about Bret on the original Hart DVD, apparantly without having one positive thing to say about him. Hart, a guy who always looked up to Hogan over the years, felt betrayed. IMO Hogan also didn't want to do it because he didn't want to lose to a smaller guy and Hogan, asides from Savage and Dibiase, always seemed to avoid working with better wrestlers (Hart, Steamboat, Roberts, etc) and if he did, it always seemed to be a one time deal (Hennig, Rude). Hart / Michaels - Well, HBK was always an arrogant SOB so there's a start. During his time away from the WWF, Hart was interviewed and said he didn't think Shawn was a good champion because of the way he was potraying himself. Upon hearing what Hart said, Shawn got pissed off and decided to not job to Hart at Wrestlemania 13 as was originally planned. Shawn fakes / exaggerates his knee injury to avoid jobbing to Bret. A few months later, Bret kicks Shawn's ass in the locker room for whatever reason. A few months after that, Shawn accuses Bret of cheating on his wife on national television. Shawn was always Vince's lapdog so he winds up main eventing PPVs even though he wasn't even the WWF Champion. And then there was Montreal. Jericho / Goldberg - Goldberg refused to work with Jericho at Fall Brawl 1998, even though he was going to beat Jericho anyway in your typical Goldberg squash fashion. Seriously, it was really fucking dumb why Bill would act that way. Also, Bill had an ego so that always pissed Jericho off and Jericho would wind up handing Goldberg's ass to him backstage at a RAW show many years in the WWE.

Todd's fuck up reminds me of that time Randy Orton was the RAW GM and announced that Eugene and Regal would take on La Resistance for the World Heavyweight Title!
  12. Tapping out wasn't incorporated into the professional wrestling rulebooks until 1997. A friend asked me a good question of who never tapped out since this rule was made. Of course, I'm talking about big stars here. Here's a list of people who have lost via submission: Batista - tapped out to Chris Benoit on the February 23rd, 2004 edition of RAW. Booker T - tapped out Chris Benoit at Armageddon 2005 and No Way Out 2006 Bret Hart - tapped out to Lex Luger at Halloween Havoc 1999 * Brock Lesnar - tapped out to Kurt Angle at SummerSlam 2003 / tapped out Chris Benoit at SSeries 2003 * Chris Benoit - tapped out to Bret Hart at Mayhem 1999 / tapped out to Kurt Angle at the 2003 Royal Rumble * Chris Jericho - tapped out to Dean Malenko at Slamboree 1998 / tapped out to Konnan at Starrcade 1998 / tapped out to Ric Flair at SummerSlam 2002 * Eddie Guerrero - tapped out to Kurt Angle at SummerSlam 2004 / tapped out to Chris Benoit at Armageddon 2002 and One Night Stand * Edge - tapped out to Kurt Angle at No Mercy 2002 / tapped out to John Cena at The 2006 Royal Rumble * Finlay - tapped out to Chris Benoit on the June 15th, 1998 edition of Nitro and Judgment Day 2006 HHH - tapped to Chris Benoit at Wrestlemania 20, and The Gold Rush Quarter Final / tapped out to John Cena at Wrestlemania 22 Hulk Hogan - tapped out to Kurt Angle at The 2002 King of The Ring * John Cena - tapped out to Kurt Angle at No Mercy 2003 and No Way Out 2004 * Kane - tapped out to Kurt Angle on the October 30th 2001 edition of SD / tapped out to Chris Benoit on the June 28th, 2004 of RAW * Kurt Angle - tapped out to Chris Benoit at Backlash 2001 / tapped out to the Rock at SSeries 2001 * Macho Man Randy Savage - tapped out to Bret Hart at Slamboree 1998 / tapped out to Roddy Piper at The Great American Bash 1998 Randy Orton - tapped out to Chris Benoit on the June 14th, 2004 edition of RAW and the January 24th, 2006 edition of SD / tapped out to Kurt Angle on the April 11th, 2006 edition of SD and One Night Stand II * Rey Mysterio - tapped out to Chris Jericho at Souled Out 1998 / tapped out to Kurt Angle at SummerSlam 2002 / tapped out to Eddie Guerrero at SSeries 2002 * Ric Flair - tapped out to Chris Jericho at Unforgiven 2002 / tapped out to Chris Benoit on the February 9th, 2004 edition of RAW and Unforgiven 2004 * Rob Van Dam - tapped out to Chris Jericho on the September 16th, 2002 edition of RAW Sabu - tapped out to John Cena at Vengeance 2006 Shawn Michaels - tapped out to Chris Jericho on the July 21st, 2003 edition of RAW / tapped out to Chris Benoit at Backlash 2004 / tapped out to Kurt Angle at Wrestlemania 21 Sid - tapped out to Chris Benoit at Souled Out 2000 Sting - tapped out to Bret Hart at Mayhem 1999 Stone Cold Steve Austin - tapped out to Kurt Angle at Unforgiven 2001 * The Big Show - tapped out to Chris Benoit on the June 4th, 2001 edition of RAW The Rock - tapped out to Ken Shamrock at The 1998 King of The Ring / tapped out to Chris Benoit on the July 30th, 2002 edition of SD The Undertaker - even thought it was a draw, IMO he still lost the match to Kurt Angle by tapping out on the July 2nd, 2002 edition of SD. Vader - tapped out to Ken Shamrock at In Your House: A Cold Day In Hell * = I know for a fact Of course, with some of these I'm not sure if the lost was actually a tap out or just a verbal give up: Batista or Sting Other losses in question: Feel free to add more results or correct me if I'm wrong. People as far as I know have never tapped out: DDP Goldberg JBL Mick Foley Kevin Nash Roddy Piper

WON WWE News and notes - 7/17

Compared to Trish / Mickie from WM 22, that's a fucking insult! Besides, Trish and Melina had a much better match at SSeries a couple of years ago.

    Mark Henry injured at SNME

Seeing how it is an open challenge, I'd be laughing my ass off if Coach accepted to try to get revenge on Batista for the Taboo squash. And then Batista squashes Vader to keep his number one contenders spot.

What program would you like to see ME Raw?

I don't know about it Hogan / Edge headlining Unforgiven, but it would certainly be a great RAW main event and it would make sense seeing how Edge was making of his own hero last week on RAW. I couldn't believe it!

    OAO Raw - 7/17

They're going to have Umaga jobbed out and squashed to Cena like they did with Hassan.

    SNME

IIRC It didn't help that SD did a pisspoor job of plugging SNME. I don't even a rundown was done or anything, was it even mentioned at all?

What program would you like to see ME Raw?

I'd have Cena get screwed out of winning the title at SummerSlam by someone interfering, I'll use KANE!!! as an example. Cena can feud with him at Unforgiven. I enjoyed their match at the 2005 Royal Rumble, but that's just me. I wouldn't mind Edge / Michaels main eventing Unforgiven. Edge can go over and injure Shawn's knee, taking him out. HHH in the meantime can feud with Orton. After seeing HBK get hurt, HHH vows revenge. If they absolutely have to stretch Cena / Edge even more, I'd make Unforgiven the final encounter with Edge going over clean since I don't want Cena to be the WWE Champion for a LONG time if he's going to stay face. Of course, the best way to finish off this feud is HIAC, but of course HHH won't allow that.
