STAR TREK 11 to be written by JJ Abrams
Lil' Bitch replied to SuperJerk's topic in Television & Film
Lame. They should have made a DS9 movie instead. I always liked it better than TNG myself. -
Ric Flair vs. Vader (Starrcade 93) anything from Starrcade 95 anything Cruserweight related during 97 or 98 CHAPTER ON LA PARKA Hollywood Hogan vs. Ric Flair vs. Sting vs. DDP (Spring Stampede 99) Bret Hart vs. Chris Benoit (Mayhem 99) Booker T Vs. Kevin Nash (Fall Brawl 2000) - Guilty pleasure of mine

Gorilla Monsoon / Jesse Ventura for Savage / Steamboat Tony Schiavone / Jesse Ventura during Warrior / Rude - SummerSlam 89. GOLD.

The ending of Austin / Hart at Wrestlemania 13 Stone Cold winning the WWF title at Wrestlemania XIV. The Rock winning the WWF title at Backlash with Austin's help. ECW Reunion on RAW July 2001.

That's the one. I can't believe I forgot about Hart / Ramon. Silly me. I'm also going to throw in Cena / RVD / Dupree / Booker from GAB 2004, it was probably the only decent thing next to Chavo / Rey on that crapfest show.

How did Dino Bravo switch from Frenchy Martin to Jimmy Hart? Wrestlemania questions: 1.) What is the Instant Replay Debate from WM 7? 2.) Somebody told me on the live version of WM 11, Pat Patterson did the introductions for the Million Dollar Team and LT's team, is this true or was it always Vince doing it?
-
Glad to hear Brock for the most part got things worked out for him although I can totally see Vince getting back at him by coming out with "The Self-Destruction of Brock Lesnar" DVD or something like that.

I liked RTC.

I don't have a problem with Flair getting a title shot at Vengenace. Winning it on the other hand, ugh. Maybe they can recycle the Flair / Vader Starrcade 93 angle with Flair's career for a title shot in his hometown.
-
I'm pretty sure the botches from Trish and Mysterio are getting edited and I wouldn't be surprised if they edit the crowd reaction for Cena / HHH like they did with Goldberg / Lesnar? Edit: I know the ECW ONS DVD is edited to hell, but are the "Fuck John Cena!" chants during Jericho / Storm kept intact?
-
I can't say I feel sorry for him, but I do hope he gets better.

Great choice. For me, I'm going to say Benoit / Guerrero from Vengeance 2003. Honorable mentions: Tatanka / Shawn Michaels - WM IX RVD / Regal - WM 18 * RVD / Guerrero - JD 2002 Goldust, Booker T, Kane, and Bubba Ray Vs. The Un-Americans - Unforgiven 2002 Jericho / Hardy - NWO 2003 * Tajiri / Mysterio - No Mercy 2003 Team Angle / Team Lesnar - SSeries 2003 RVD & Mysterio / Dudleyz - JD 2004 Benajmin / Jericho - TT 2004 Edge / Shawn Michaels - RR 2005 * = matches I think are pushing it to some people, but I enjoyed them

For a guy who was supposed to be getting a second chance as world champion, its turning out to be Orton's own fault for snuffing that out and I can't really feel sorry for him.

Kurt Angle Vs. The Undertaker at No Way Out 2006, hands down. People will say its overrated, but after its all said and done, the match definitely lived up to the hype. Honorable mentions: Edge Vs. Cena at the RR - A definitely underrated match Edge Vs. Foley at WM 22 - Great from start to finish including the build-up HHH Vs. Cena at WM 22 - An awesome contest that was certainly better than Batista / HHH from last year. James Vs. Stratus at WM 22 - Throw me in with the "best womens match in WWE history" wagon Benoit Vs. Orton NHB on SD - TV goodness all the way around
-
Yeah, except that male "vocal" audience is the majority of the WWE's fan demographic area and PPV buyrates is where the real money is at.
-
What was the reason for Mr. Fuji costing Demolition the SSeries 88 match and what were the kayfabe reason for the feuds (if there were any) please: Santana / Michaels at WM 8 Bigelow / Boss Man at RR 93 Ramon / Backlund at WM 9

Anyone got any crazy Autograph Signing stories?
Lil' Bitch replied to spman's topic in General Wrestling
Well, right before SummerSlam 2003 was to start, I waited in the arena parking lot to try meet anybody. Molly Holly, John Cena, Kanyon, and Rico were all heels at the time and they all broke character and came over and took pictures and signed stuff for us. It was so awesome. The day of Survivor Series 2003, me and my buddies went to the hotel the wrestlers were staying at and of course the front of the hotel was packed with so many fans, it was unbelievable. And here comes HHH, of course blowing everybody off, but there were these two handicapped children in wheelchairs present and HHH stopped and went over to them, signed their stuff, and took a picture with them before he got into the limo. It just blew me away to see somebody like him to do that. Other reason I became a Rico fan: At my first RAW house show, pretty much any wrestler that wanted to be nice in the arena parking lot, would come over to the fence and reach over and sign stuff, but Rico was the only guyt who actually came around the fence and made sure to get everybody that was there. And the SD show where Rico got injured (him and Haas lost the tag titles to the Dudleys), after the show even though he had just torn his quad (IIRC I think thats what the injury was), he still stopped and made sure to get everybody before he left to go to the hospital according to a fan of mine in Chicago who attended that show. -
Rick Steiner Vs. Scott Steiner, good lord that was mind numbing to see continue.
