I am, for the most part, that fan. I haven't watched a full broadcast of Raw or Smackdown in a very, very long time ago, nor have I ordered PPVs.

He's a fucking timekeeper. Do you really think he has a front office job or something?
-
Completly different. WoW was on the west coast and filled with wanna-be models, actresses, etc. WeW ran throughout Pennsylvania and Delaware. The production values are pretty low end as well, especially when compared to WoW.

Ohh snap
-
Damn dude. That sounds incredible. I might have to go to this show.

They have a fat Rock ripoff named... The Smoke. They have a couple of Hillbillies, one of which is a disgustingly overweight woman. Their champion, for at least a period of time, was an ugly pothead. Their female referee randomly strips. There you go.

John Becker. Even though it was Entertainment Weekly's whipping boy (and for one episode, South Park's), I've discovered the show in syndication and love Danson's role.

That was random. The original post was "Some people have too much time on their hands." I can only assume a mod edited it. -
Video Games That Might Make Good Movies

They're likely holding out for a big contract and partial creative control. -
http://www.mediaweek.com/mw/search/article...t_id=1000798528 Conflicting articles. I do get the feeling that Spike likely put out quite a bit of money to get them.

CSI isn't actually too big of a deal for Spike. There was an article in Video Business about how it has not yet proven to be an entity for a network to have. Unlike L & O, which has unbelievable replay value to a lot of people, CSI hasn't proved to be a big success for Spike at all.

Most of the shows I go to won't have summer dates announced until the middle of April or so. I will be going to Ozzfest, Warped Tour, and that crazy metal tour they're doing that has GWAR.

I'm an idiot. -
A lot of people sure are bitter they're not an Internet celebrity...

If I was dorky enough to wear wrestling shirts, I'd totally rock this.
-
That was actually pretty interesting. No big surprise that they avoided the fact that TNA fired her briefly because of War of the Worlds, though.
-
I can't believe this thread has gotten to this point without anyone mentioning how incredibly crappy that shirt is.

I always assumed that Steve Lombardi (Brooklyn Brawler) played doink at wm x7 but I might be wrong. Dinsmore played Doink at Vengeance 03 in the APA Barrom Invitaional Brawl and the sd right after when Rhyno sent him to face Benoit Lombardi was in the gimmick battle royal as The Brooklyn Brawler actually. I found a couple sites that say Dinsmore played him, and considering how long he was under the developmental deal, I can see this being true.

While I know the same is arguable for RVD, but has Kash ever had a **** match?
-
They wanted Owen to fly down to the ring with Max Mini strapped to his chest. Owen showed up to rehearsal late that day, though, so they couldn't plan it out right.
-
That last line was just fucking whacked.

Shane Douglas planning ECW Reunion show
Placebo Effect replied to GreatWhiteNope's topic in The WWE Folder
Good luck marketing that as an ECW Reunion show, considering Vince has exclusive rights to "ECW" and the fact ECW One Night Stand will probably be released on DVD as well. Chances are it will be released from someone like RF Video or Smart Mark Video, not anything national. -
God damn it. This show not performing is just depressing.

Tarantino Boards New Friday the 13th Movie?
Placebo Effect replied to Banter's topic in Television & Film
Myself and others are still ready for another Jason film. It just needs to be done well. Why New Line did Jason in Space when they had pitches for Jason in the winter, which would have been so much more effective, is beyond me.
