Best I could find... Who knows more about this guy? Here's what I know... Vladimir used to go to almost EVERY single WWF PPV and many house shows especially in the New York area. You will also see him on video at every single WWF PPV at Madison Square Garden. He would always sit in the first few rows at ringside and at Survivor Series 96, he sat in the first row directly in front of the camera. He is smallish, but muscular, he has a huge mouth and wears glasses, he usually wears a cap. He was featured in WWF magazine in early 1997. He seems to always be with a woman (maybe his wife?) and the big guy with the beard and long hair who now sits in the front row at ECW shows. I think he stopped going to WWF shows in 1997 and just went to MSG shows. He was at the 1997 Slammy awards and talked to a friend of mine. It seems he's a professional bodybuilder and he must be LOADED with money which is why he used to get to so many WWF events. Last siting was the 2000 Royal Rumble at MSG where he was sitting in the third row. I also found out that there's a possibility he pissed someone off in the WWE or MSG, so he no longer gets front row tickets.

Don't want to dig up coverart Dry Cell - Disconnected... A complete Linkin Park ripoff that were signed to Warner Brothers, but their CD never got released to the public. I'm a fan of LP, so it's enjoyable, as even the singer sounds identical to LP's Chester. Nightwish - Once... Fairly certain I'm seeing them Thursday. The album slowly dies once the first five songs or so is over, but I enjoy it. Megadeth - Youthanasia... For whatever reason, I have trouble at times understanding the words in their songs. Getting into it, though. 40 Below Summer Headlining Show from earlier this year... Damn good, of course.

When that show comes to Philly in September, it lists Deicide as headlining and Goatwhore supporting. Are they switching off? I'm not too sure if I'll make my way out for those shows. I'm getting into more heavy-heavy metal, but these guys may be a tad bit too heavy for me at the moment.

Yeah, your first three points suck, and your fourth isn't exactly exclusive to Toronto.

Wasn't it Mike getting attacked by Scott Steiner in the trailer what spurred him to be angry and pissed off at times?

I went to Warped Tour last Friday. Next year I have to go to two shows because there were so many bands I wanted to see that I had to miss. On Sunday, it was Chimera and Machine Head. Very, very cool, as this was the 10th Anniversary of the Burn My Eyes album. They played the entire CD, in order. And on Thursday, it was Soil and Static-X. Similar to Drowning Pool, Soil's great at being mediocre and heavy, but just don't grip you live. Static were fun. On the 19th, I'll possibly be seeing Nightwish and Lullacry. That is, if I don't go meet Lloyd Kaufman instead. 21st is Silvertide doing a headlining show. Going to it just for the hell of it. And the 25th is Nonpoint, and the 26th is Ozzfest.

I thought that said Superior Court judge Antonio Sabato Jr.

Definitely going to the two 9/11 shows.

You should've met Hardy and told him you were a writer for 411 Mania.

I'd say it's worth $2.50 just for the value of reading it and such. $2.50 for the Revue magazines is too much, though I paid $1 each for a ton of old magazines from the 70s.

You're disgracing the great name of Wayne Harold.

I believe this was between his runs in WCW and WWE. He left WCW, showed up in ECW quite randomly, and was quickly in the WWE soon after. Yep, that's Brakkus. The Shane Douglas celebration thing was just a circle jerk.

I haven't watched many episodes of TFTC since I didn't have HBO during its heyday. However, I remember FOX broadcasting the last epiosde they ever did of the show, an animated parody of the Three Little Pigs that I loved.

First off, since you never said Fall of '99, I presumed you were talking about the end of the summer through the time Russo came in (end of October). Lenny won the title at the end of the summer, and only would begin the feud with Kaz when the Fall began. Do some research before countering an argument. On a Thunder at the end of August, they confronted each other before it was quickly forgotten. That's why I said "beginning." Nash & Sting vs. Sid & Savage or something to that extent was the main event of GAB '99. That's why I thought they had feuded. I'll admit my mistake there. However, one can argue that Career vs. Career between Nash/Hogan was equally worst. First Family frequently received 10 minute television matches. Even if they didn't win every match, that's still getting pushed to some degree. And when you made a comp tape of WWE 2000 or NWA 1989, you had ***** matches, brilliant booking, great backstage segments, etc. As you said, "decency" is all you'd get out of that time period. I honestly preferred Russo over this period of time, minus his penchant for hating foreigners, Cruiserweights, etc.

Jeff Hardy Speaks On TNA, WWE, Matt, More
Placebo Effect replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in TNA Wrestling
Meh. I feel Hardy's done a decent job since coming in. I'm kind of excited to see if Hardy and Jarrett work well together, along with if they'll give Hardy the title. -

What in the fuck? WCW had bright moments back then, but for the most part, it was completly incoherent and shitty. You had guys like Van Hammer, Buff Bagwell, and Scotty Riggs wrestling eight minute squashes. The First Family getting pushed. The hummer. Ric Flair being committed and his shit with Roddy Piper, Judge Mills Lane, etc. for the Presidency of WCW. WCW TV Champion Rick Steiner. Useless matches intentionally being booked just so Sid could squash people. Kiss Demon and Vampiro beginning their epic feud. Harlem Heat getting back together and absolutely sucking wind. Savage vs. Nash. Nash vs. Sid. If you made a comp tape of the Summer of 99 WCW, you'd certainly have some great matches and segments. Lenny/Lodi were awesome, guys like Sting, Hogan, and DDP had good matches, The Triad were briefly in the main event, etc. But if I sat you down in front of a TV and showed you, say, July 1999 of WCW, you'd slit your wrists after watching 23 hours of TV with 4 of it being watchable.

I'm hoping La Parka... La Park, and Psychosis are kept around. Now that he's got his mask back, Psychosis is even greater. So this begs the question; are the stories about wrestlers being beat down for putting their mask back on after losing it a sham? Surely Psychosis wouldn't put it back on if so. The fans at the Asylum were dead during Ekmo/Shelley and Young/Gilberti, though I don't really blame them.

*SPOILER* Surprise for Tonight's Show
Placebo Effect replied to Phoenix Fury Legdrop's topic in TNA Wrestling
The answer to that question; nope. And it wasn't all Ekmo's fault either. Shelley is so used to doing the Junior Heavyweight technical matches that he was just fucking lossed tonight when it came to selling for a big guy. Hell, I *think* he was responsible for the blown spot they had. -
Why The Pounce Is A Credible Finisher
Placebo Effect replied to Da Maintenance Man's topic in TNA Wrestling
AJ sold the Pounce wonderfully tonight. -
Canucks are getting f'ed in the A.

La Parka! YES!!!!! As long as the show isn't said to be total shit tonight, I'm now ordering the replay.

So they're going to ignore their most succesful years when doing WWE 24/7? Uh huh. Don't be an idiot.
-
I think she worked for them between ECW shutting down and WWE hiring her. Probably a rerun/clipjob.
