What about a GM mode? I think someone might have mentioned it a while back. That could be entertaining if they had the chance to properly integrate it into the season mode.

There's a lot of potential with this Eugene story. I have a feeling that Triple H will convince Eugene that Chris Benoit is really the bad guy, or maybe Eric will be doing the dirty work. Either way, I'm expecting an apology from Benoit at some point during the night.

I don't know if they should have a live show, but I do agree with your statement about some people wanting to watch just to see what happens next. I really want to see what they end up doing with Undertaker now that he's a heel and Bradshaw now that he's the champ. This is probably the first time I've actually been interested in Smackdown since before the Royal Rumble.

If they got the idea off of the posts from this thread, I'd have no choice but to mark out like a seven-year-old Hulkamaniac.

I'm new to TNA so I'm wondering about this: Is Impact akin to a "B-show"? Or is there a chance that there will be title matches, etc. on these shows? I've only been able to see the 6/ 25 show so I won't vote, but this post seemed relevant enough.

I just got home, and I'm so bored that I read through this whole thread. The fact that I can say that I read through this whole thread is really depressing. Guess 3 pages shows exactly how important Smackdown! has become.

I don't know about all of this. I can't see Eugene getting the beatdown on Monday, and I can't see Triple H jumping back into the title picture just yet. I know at some point he will, but I think that Kane isn't finished, and Jericho is definitely going to be in Triple H's hair if he's not having a match against Trish, Tomko, or Christian for the hundredth time. So I can see Triple H/ Jericho at Vengeance, and Benoit defending against Kane again. I can't see the Edge heel turn fitting into everything just yet.

At least Smackdown 1 had "implied storylines" (yes that's my term). For example, if you lost the WWF title to someone, you'd turn up as the special ref in their title defense next month, giving you the chance to screw them out of the title. Of course, one month I faced Road Dogg and Mr. Ass as the Undertaker in a two-on-one, and the next month I took on the Rock in a three-on-one and my partners were Road Dogg and Mr. Ass. The new games aren't perfect either so there's always room for improvement.

I have Badmotorfinger and that CD is the biggest acid trip I've ever heard. I can't even listen to the thing. They're definitely a talented group, but I can't get into them at all.

Holy crap. Who the hell was doing commentary in that? It sounded like someone's grandfather. The graphics are on par with HCTP though. Don't know why everyone's saying they're so bad. That was a pretty lame video though.

Maybe Taker won't even get the title. That would make Eddy look very strong if they did that over the course of several main events.

Randy orton is good on the mic, and is a good wrestler with the backing of Evolution. His promos are markedly improved, and his egotistical character is perfect (I love his turnbuckle pose with the Intercontinental title draped over his shoulder). However, he can still be pretty lackluster in the singles department, and the fact that his RKO can kill pretty much anybody is sickening. I did love his use of the chin lock in last night's six-man tag, and I'm looking forward to more promos/ matches from him.

Chris Benoit has been the Hardcore Champion for like 3 or 4 full seasons by now, and The Rock hasn't lost the Intercontinental Title yet. Undertaker has had three very long WWE title reigns as well. Jericho/ Kane only won the tag straps because I started a new season and dethroned the team of K.J. Thomas and Undertaker. Jericho made Undertaker tap.

Seeing Triple H get involved in everything is sickening. I just hope his next title reign is somewhat decent. If he feuds with Benoit, at least it still has some potential.

I hope Chavo is okay. Hopefully he'll make it to the Smackdown! taping tonight considering he's the champ and will probably be in at least one segment. He's kind of a necessary part of the show at this point, no matter how much he doesn't desire to be there.

He shouldn't retire from the business, because he could be a hell of a manager or as the spokesperson for someone else, but he can't wrestle anymore. his days as a credible threat are looooooooong gone. He should be put over before leaving. I think it should be done by Triple H. Flair shouldn't be killed off when he leaves though, he should be able to give a speech. he should be gone by the time 2005 rolls around. Hell, Evolution should be split up by then as well.
