Next week should be alright, except for the "musical" guest. I don't think there's any popular musician out there that I hate as much as Missy Elliott. I believe it all stems from her singing that song "One Minute Man" when she has no right to be picky about men.

Didn't Independence Day get nominated for Visual Effects? I can't imagine critics caring much for that movie. ROTK had better damn well win Best Picture, though. I'm not confident, with movies like Cold Mountain and The Alamo, which was one of the previews I saw before Revolutions. One thing I didn't see before the movie, though, was the stuntman anti-piracy spot. Lucky me, I guess.

The end of the Y2K episode (Da Boom?) is one of the funniest endings ever.

I just got back from a matinee showing, and I liked it. It was better than Reloaded, that's for sure. It's been unfairly shat on, as far as I'm concerned. Return of the King has its work cut out if it wants to challenge for the Best Visual Effects oscar. The Zion battle was all kinds of awesome.

I want to get my A+ sometime soon, but I'm going to wait until the new objectives are in full effect (I think they are now) and Michael Meyers releases his new All In One Guide. Back on topic...Yeah, that would work, but I personally would stay away from Dell. They're getting into the proprietary parts game being played by HP/Compaq and Gateway, among others.

Is it one of those little proprietary cases? If so, you'll probably need to just get another machine. If it is a standard case, though, it should probably work. HP computers are notoriously proprietary, making upgrading an unattractive option. I would probably just get a new computer, though. You can find a perfectly good computer for not much more than the $250 you mentioned, and you can sell yours on eBay to make up the differnece, or you can keep it and experiment with Linux, which I always recommend. But again, if the computer is a standard case and motherboard size (which would shock me) upgrading the motherboard and processor would be a fun activity.

No giving out candy here. No kids even come here, thankfully. Every time someone knocks on my door, my dog goes nuts. Here's something fun I do every Halloween: Walk outside and let out the loudest blood curdling scream possible. It's quite a rural area, so nobody sees me, but I hope they hear me. I think tonight I'll put on my cheap plastic Kane mask and chase kids.
