So I should be studying for finals.....

I was trying to do a research paper for French History and this smitten female called me to bitch for an hour. I finished at 4 am when it was due at 1:30 pm and then a final at 3:30 pm. Still no grade on the paper and I made a 69.75% on the exam bringing my gpa for that class down to a B

    WON News and Notes, 8/5

I thought Chris Chambers died in a lunch line trying to seperate 2 guys from fighting. He was stabbed in the neck and almost died instantly. That's what my Uncle Gordie Lachance said.

Flipping Out On A Rude Customer At Work

I've encountered that one too. This one lady wanted me to do something on her order, that would allow her to essentially rip us off, and so I refused to allow her to do it. She said "Well let me talk to whoever is in charge." I calmly said "Ma'am, I am the person in charge." This is a repeated rude customer... so she says "No, I want to go over your head." I smiled, and without missing a beat I said "well there's a church just up the road. Go talk to God." I think I was there another year and I did not see her after that.

Flipping Out On A Rude Customer At Work

Working at the mall for five years I was always pretty patient with the severe idiots I'd encounter. Once the big booming announcement "The time is now 9:00, the mall is now closed..." the smile would come off, and I'd get to cleaning the store. Well we didn't have a big gate to cover the front of our store like the rest of the mall, (we had one big counter with no entrance for customers - food service -) but they could still see us while we cleaned. Every night people would pass "hey are y'all still open?" RIGHT after the announcement. I'd vary between "Did you not just hear the big booming God-like voice indicating the EXACT opposite of what you are asking me?" or covering my mouth with my hands and mimicing the PA system "Attention mall shoppers the mall IS NOW CLOSED!!!! thank you for shopping with us..." It was more satisfying when you still had that 30 second window of discretion where you probably COULD sell some more but you made 3 times your quota already so screw em.

    2006 NFL Off-Season

Not that I want the Saints to NOT go to the Super Bowl, but I will appreciate the sheer irony of the Texans winning it, or at least the AFC.

    The OAO RAW Thread 8/5/2006

Everyone knows what it is, they just happen so infrequently these days that people get excited at the potential of it.... that'd be my guess anyway. Infrequently? Everything is a worked shoot in WWE these days. Watch any Edge or HHH promo. I meant a REAL shoot, not a worked shoot.

    Mustard or Mayonaisse?

I put mayo and mustard. (I hate when people pronounce it as 'my-nez' - There's an O in there people!) (surprised no one said La Parka)

    One Sick Bitch

They protested my campus for having a Gay/Straight Alliance last year. I'm normally very mild mannered in public. Had I not been working during their protest I probably would have just validated stereotypes about uncivilized people in Louisiana. AMAZINGLY no one jumped the security railing at them.

I've lately been searching recent nfl draft picks on Facebook. So far the Saint's 2nd and 3rd round picks have added me.

I graduate from college this week!

You can get any number of jobs with any degree, really. An office is an office. High school looks like the most obvious choice, though. Now, a second B.A.; how's that work? Did you actually do another 3-4 years of college, or just take correspondence courses to fill time in the working world? I got my B.A. in Government @ Nicholls State Thibodaux, LA with a minor in history. I took a year off, working for the local 911 district, got positioned on a favorable night shift, and then enrolled again at Nicholls for the History degree. Since most of the course work for a history degree is similar to the Government program, I had to take ten additional courses (30 hours) and they are granting me the History degree. Ten courses/ 30 hours: 6 hours of Spanish 3 hours of Computer Science 3 hours of Economics 18 hours of more random Junior-Grad level history courses. Took all of 12 months while working night shifts and going to class during the day. Spring semester was easy because I had just 6 hours left. Since I had the district pay for my Spanish class (claiming it would help with my job), I signed an agreement that I would stay there for two years or remit whatever money they gave me. So between now and 2007 I'm studying/taking the GRE and LSAT and see which one I get the better score. I'll let that guide me from there. Worse comes to worse I'll teach High School (and go get a third degree in Education).

    NCAA Football 07

Indeed. I always get it instead of Madden. Recruiting's a lot more fun than trying to fit a team under the salary cap every year. Agreed. After so many years and you build prestige, you can have no trouble with getting 5 star players. On Madden 06, I traded away a good bit of marquee players on my Saints roster in exchange for backups and first round picks, getting around 7 first round picks. Then I had to try and sign them. I'll stick to NCAA.

Rude, dude. Yeah I didn't scroll down until I could think of the answer myself. He jumped to WCW, and died not entirely too long afterwards One of the best heels ever.

No, Furman is a perennial powerhouse in division I-AA not Division II.

They will need to deal Deuce or Reggie next year cause no way Deuce takes a pay cut to share carries with Reggie. I really have no CLUE how they have any money left to field a team with this pick. Well they pick Reggie. ONE corner back. Not enough defensive positons filled, and then they draft wide receivers that we don't need, TWICE!!!! My only theory is they are totally blowing their wad on paying Reggie that they are signing crap to make up money.

    So you're John Cena. Okay?

That idea is just so crazy and zany that it just might work. But... but... "Did he come?" "JESUS GIL!"

    The 2006 NFL Draft Thread

My head is going to explode if the Saints do something silly like, I don't know, draft Lendale White also. Teke what do you say to picking up one of the lower ranked quarterbacks in the 7th? I'm talking Basanez, B. Smith, Hackney, B. Nealy, E. Meyer, I. Martin or T. Jackson... the not so powerhouse schools and I-AA guys to spice up the race for the 2nd and 3rd spots. We just signed Jaime Martin, plus we have Bouman and Macphearson. I'd love to ditch Bouman, and I don't see the team committing to MacPhearson. And what did we get from Cleveland? They already took our freaking Center.

I hate this part of the draft when they stop cutting to the stage. The draft is about the players and the teams, not about the analysts!!!

I'm generally anti-LSU until they enter the draft, then I root for the players. Example, Devery Henderson. Nicest guy I ever met next to Horn and Lewis... Seriously them three guys combined are fast, talented, and class acts. It hasn't gone to any of their heads and are very receptive of fans. First round is done, I'm calling Justice @ 34.
