Also: Paid 245 for it. Pulled 7 awesome cards. (all specks and spots a result of scanner needing windex - cards are in a card saver) 1. Reggie Bush #'d 100 2. Michael Bush rookie jersey auto #'d 99 3. Ken Strong jersey #'d 50 4. Ed Johnson Rookie auto #'d 99 5. Sam Huff auto #'d 50 6. Sterling Sharpe triple jersey with 4 colors autographed #'d 25 7. Sonny Jurgensen, Bart Starr, and John Mackey triple Jersey #'d 25 Also I'm open to trades/sales on most of them but you'd have to make me a really awesome deal. Yeah so almost a year ago I posted that and altered what I sent in. I wound up not sending in the Vick for his value declined. I haven't yet sent in the Ripkin but its on my list to send in. The bonds I have not sent in yet either for the legal thing - but will anyway eventually. And the 2 Sage Beckett Roethlisbergers are still sitting in line to be sent in as well. I've been sending in a bundle per pay period since October. Here's my current stash: My cards graded by BGS over the last few months

Wrestlers who you did not want to see succeed
yankovic fan replied to Boxer's topic in General Wrestling
Randy Orton. He just reminded me too much of this guy that kept chasing after this girl that I too was chasing after. She wound up with a Brian Kendrick if I am to keep up with the wrestling metaphors (with me being around a Dennis Knight or so). (I mean that in build. I don't go running around with just a fanny pack!) -
I also don't expect Detroit to go 0-16 since they host 2 dome teams, in December. One is an NFC North team though used to the bitter conditions of the region. I have low expectations for my Saints.

My plan if I ever find myself at walmart on a black friday again is to bring a boat oar or a push pole and just get in the cart. Use your imagination.

You got me to thinking about him and so I did some research. I did not realize how young Mr. Hughes was when he came out in WCW! He was late 20s. That's incredible to me. He was a former college football player which I also did not know. I guess you put a guy in professional clothes (instead of spandex) and it adds a few years. Plus his name was "Mr." so that too suggests a more advnaced age.

With future Hall of Famer Chris Weinke at the helm! ( by hall of fame I mean....uhh...nevermind) Westbrook is a beast accounting for 2 reception TDs and 1 rushing TD putting Philly up 21-0 in the 2nd!

here's a pic from the game apparently tackling isn't allowed in the lower divisions.

Ladarius Webb suits up as a college player for the last time.

Yes, Troy, there are in fact FOUR quarters to a football game. I am never texting messaging 20 LSU fans at halftime and going to bed smirking again.

Have some toru tuna then report back to me :-) If you do not like it, then my apologies, but it's for comparison sakes, the fillet Mignon of the sushi world. A little pricey but worth it. One of the local places has a "Volcano Roll" which is crab stick, masago, and spicy mayo baked and poured over a California roll. It's very good. I'm mad that they won't sell the volcano sauce with any other rolls though, so I just order that roll with another roll I think would serve it well, and just mix and match. (not an insult to the chef if he doesn't see you is my theory). I concur on the Rainbow Roll sentiment. Very good middle of the road roll for the novice. (and still darn tasty regardless) Locally we have a "Hawaii 5-0 Roll" which is a snow crab roll covered in 5 different roe, really colorful and beautiful. It tastes good too though the overflow of Roe popping in your mouth is a little different. I'm more of a fan of nori wrapped sushi than the soy paper ones. I'm wanting to try eel again. The one time I had it was from a delivery place. You can imagine the results, predictably. The thing is, because I didn't enjoy it, I don't want to spend the money AGAIN and run the risk of disliking it again, so I am thinking I need to go with an eel fan and just give them that roll if my palate still rejects it. Also, I must recommend you speak with your chef about a good sake recommendation with your meal (and make sure you can hold your liquor/have a designated driver as it can sneak up on you). I had a 'milky' cold sake for my birthday, had a whole bottle, and had no regrets at all (minus the silly things I said from the buzz). Just a wonderful experience for my taste buds.

Bought one today. Got GTAIV and 6 BD movies. Haven't fooled with the game yet. Set up an account with my username 'y2hood' (goes back to high school, not a jericho reference i promise you). Anyway if I get any games allowing me to hook up with people, I'll let you all know.

Yeah so I'm going to have early onset carpal tunnel with this game. The first night we had it, the battle was to play drums. Now we're begging each other to please take the drums. It's fun but after I dunno...12 hours...you've wasted your day of vacation and shot your wrists to hell.

Let's Talk About...Diesel's WWF World title run
yankovic fan replied to King Kamala's topic in General Wrestling
Oh naturally. 1994 I was 13 so I was still in my markish phase (as in getting into shouting matches with people that it wasn't fake). I kinda get the selling point of Diesel being an unstoppable force demolishing a crazy guy, but for what? It buried Bret Hart indirectly. We had all this emotion built up from the Bret/Backlund match and the fallout from that, and I don't know, it just felt wasted. I didn't dislike Diesel as champion at the time, but it still felt empty b/c I was hoping Bret would get the title back from Backlund. As King Kamala pointed out, Bulldog going heel during that span was a major WTF moment as well. I had accepted that some guys "turn bad" randomly in wrestling but even for a clueless kid I saw no real motivation for that one. -

I think it was ruined from the start with the house show squash of Bob Backlund. "Ladies and Gentleman we have a new NEW champion since Survivor series!" I mean yeah, the face turn was coming after a nice slow burn, but sheesh, putting the belt on him was silly so soon. Give Bob Backlund a LITTLE time with it! -
The Blue Hens of Delaware always amused me.

My sister bought me a Batista shirt for Christmas because it said "The Animal" which "Animal" was my childhood nickname due to my resemblance of the muppet baby. Yes, I was an ugly child and imagined things in crayon. So I can vouch that he moves merchandise

I am very pleased.

I mean, yeah, he did suck last year. I fully agree with you there. But could it be a case of having an off year? I mean at least he was 'good once' I have to agree with failedmutation on the whole Benson sentiment. I'm actually amazed to find out that Benson was actually looking for work.

Yet Shaun Alexander has no job They suggested on Around the Horn that the Steelers should nab him. I have to agree. Edit: Ah, I missed the week 4 RB discussion on the last few posts. I forgot about Justin Vincent being on the practice squad - and I randomly looked him up the other day too.

Yep see it on the ticker now.
