I work for my area's 911 agency, and we had a call VERY similar to this last week, which is why I said in my original post that this is not as uncommon as you would think.

Some people have too much time on their hands
yankovic fan replied to Jobber of the Week's topic in Video Games
That was very time consuming, but awesome! Thanks for finding it. -
You'd be surprised on how common stuff like that is.

One time this 6'4 300 pound guy was starting stuff with me (this was in high school). I swung at him, missed, he swung missed, then I grabbed him and just threw him on the ground, and he tripped me on his way down. Before we could get up and REALLY fight, his mom came out and made him go inside. Pretty funny seeing that big bastard get called in by his mom. (probably a good thing for my sake though) -6'0 probably around 215 at that time-

My boss made us watch this the other night. When I got off of work I went to IMDB.com to look at some of the movie roles some of the actors had, and I began reading the message board at the bottom... Pretty funny stuff hearing people argue over whether or not that movie killed WCW.

BBC asks Bob Marley for an interview...
yankovic fan replied to Open the Muggy Gate's topic in Current Events
Maybe they wanted Bob Dylan and got their Bobs mixed up ? -
I was so bothered by Owen Hart's death that I basically bombed all my senior finals the next two days. Luckily my overall grades were enough to maintain a good GPA. Bulldog and Perfect bothered me a great deal. And outside of wrestling I really was and still am bothered by the passing of Rodney Dangerfield. Even though he lived a long life, I think due to selfish reasons I am still sad. He was always a big comedic hero of mine, and I still love his work. I had always wanted to meet him.

Wait he's talking down towards the whole Hassan thing, but didn't a very similar angle in the early 90s provide him with a lot of extra cash?

They had "Nude Mike Tyson's Punch-Out" on I-Mockery a few months ago. I had it but I allowed someone to use my computer and they deleted it. I've just been to apathetic to go redownload it.

How would WWE react in the event of a tragedy?
yankovic fan replied to Dimensions's topic in The WWE Folder
Yep, Owen situation and then within minutes backstage interview with Jarrett and Debra. Both were VERY upset. Shortly after (or before, can't even remember if they were in the same match) there was a Road Dogg interview and he too was having trouble maintaining character. One of the most distasteful things for me that night was they went through with the Nicole Bass/Val Venis thing, but that was distasteful, tragic events or not. -
November Rain was on the radio yesterday, and I did not pick up on it right away. I suddenly said "that's Axl Rose....." and someone said "yeah, November Rain, dumbass." Truth be told, I always hit "next" whenever it comes up on the CD, so chances are I won't reconize it initially next time either.

If it can be bought at Radio Shack they may have the software on the radio shack website. I found some software for something I bought there recently. Then again I don't recall seeing any 200mb downloades

Taker666, PPVs are soooo much more energetic than Smackdowns. I was at Royal Rumble 2001 and the energy in the place was just... wow... Of course there was a great undercard plus the Royal Rumble match. I'd imagine Wrestlemania topping that.

Ripper, Did you check downloads.com ? They are safe and mostly free. The search function is easily navigated too.

Worst wrestling related conversationd you've heard

During the Raven/DDP feud in 98 or so, "Raven and DDP are brothers and Jake the Snake is their dad." Damn high school kids. -
You can use an outside camera to record it. As far as software, I know of none. I've taken a few pictures with my cell phone's camera feature whenever a girl does something interesting, but nothing really worth writing home about. Get one of them DVD burning camcorders.

My friend is a big downloader and uses E-Mule. He says it runs slow though, but whatever. He said he can download entire discographys and the like. Yeah I remember when I had Kazaa I downloaded 10-15 Live and Let Die mp3s and ALL were corrupt.

Cool thanks guys My dad ended up accidentally fixing it... he's not sure what he did. Then a friend came over and did the printer thing (before I read this thread) and set it up, and then flat out charged me $20.00.... Cost of favors are rising. Again thank you very much though for the input.

I recently upgraded to a cable internet service. We promptly connected our main computer to a router and have wireless cards in all of our secondary computers. Well I was trying to figure a way to access the printer from remote computers. I was toying around with the "my network places" and fooled with so many options that I cannot even recount them at this point. Without warning, all internet applications (yahoo, aim, ect..) immediatley went offline and the browser too was rendered useless. I restarted it and still nothing. We are getting service through the modem b/c I am still connected on my computer via the wireless card. Is there any quick fix to this? I can not locate the CD-rom that came with the modem to reset it up. I have until 4:00 pm Central time to solve this, otherwise my dad will probably evict me for ruining his internet. Any help would be appreciated.

Best/Worst songs for commencments/senior sendoffs/
yankovic fan replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Music
My class had "I Will Remember You" and I did not like it. I was always a fan of "Time to Say Goodbye" featuring Sarah Brightman and Andrea Bocelli. Partially in Italian, I can't understand 66% of what is said, but damn if it isn't the prettiest thing I've ever heard. -
I have a copy of the tape and I must have rewatched it a dozen times and they never show any of that. Sorry bud.

Smackdown- dec. 2001 #6 in line at my local ticketmaster, but 2nd to buy since I was paying credit card (no idea why I got special treatment) and I bought 4 tickets. By that point, my tickets were already for section E. A-D already filled up. We had "row 2" seats, but that meant third row b/c there's row "AA" where all the families and stuff sit. And yes, that was the side with the cameras, so we didn't get on TV. They even took our signs from us. So if your venue is like the New Orleans arena, avoid section e.

What's the specs on Akebono? Height, weight, etc... Photos? -
You're kidding me? Popular Mechanics has been doing pieces not related to cars FOR YEARS. Sheesh, I remember several articles about the stealth program and new aircraft design. They nearly always have some sort of current events analysis Engineering is engineering, and math is math, no matter what you're doing. Very interesting. I wasn't aware of this fact. Thanks for the heads up, I'll try not to jump to conclusions so quickly in the future.
