The thing is with the transfer to FCS thing is he'd have to sit a year under the current rules too. I'm pretty sure they redid that. So his options are sit a year in FBS/FCS, transfer to Division 2 or NAIA since D3 doesn't do scholarships. There's a LOT of NAIA schools with reputations for taking legal troubled football players from the higher schools. Teke, Alabama A&M is a HBCU from the SWAC.

Anyone else watching ESPN keep hearing cell phone interference in your audio? I don't think its any phone in my home as its never been an issue and no phones have had calls when it occurred. And I like Tulane's Matt Forte going before any LSU offensive player. And Eagles go DT Trevor Laws. Maybe he can catch balls? And by the way.... what is Keyshawn wearing? Seriously. Looks like Philly's next pick will be WR.

And ESPN is already missing picks with commercial breaks. Good for the Texans going OT though.

nfl.com NFL Network filing complaint with FCC against Comcast Associated Press NEW YORK -- NFL Network is filing a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission against cable TV giant Comcast in the latest legal wrangling between the two. The network announced Thursday it had served Comcast with the required 10-day notice of its intent to file a complaint. NFL Network is accusing the nation's largest cable operator of discriminatory and anticompetitive treatment in violation of the Cable Act of 1992. The two sides have been feuding over Comcast's decision to place NFL Network on a premium sports tier that customers must pay extra to receive. NFL Network sued Comcast in October 2006 over the move. A judge initially ruled in Comcast's favor. In February, an appeals court reversed the ruling and sent the case back to the lower court, saying the language in the contracts between the two was too "ambiguous" to rule in favor of either side. Comcast also filed a lawsuit against NFL Network in December, alleging that league officials' attempts to persuade customers to switch away from Comcast violated their contract. NFL Network will contend in its FCC complaint that Comcast is engaging in discriminatory and anticompetitive conduct because it includes less-popular national sports channels it owns, Versus and Golf Channel, on a basic tier. "Comcast has taken NFL Network away from millions of fans and placed it on a costly sports tier," NFL Network president and CEO Steve Bornstein said in a statement. "We don't believe that Comcast should charge consumers extra for our Network while making sports channels it owns available to all viewers on a less costly basis. After months of trying to get Comcast to negotiate fair treatment, we have been forced to turn to the FCC." Sena Fitzmaurice, Comcast's senior director for corporate communications and government affairs, said in a statement, "Comcast makes the NFL Network available to all of our customers on a tier of service that the NFL agreed to by contract. The NFL has immense power in the marketplace, yet it keeps running to the federal and state governments to try to force changes in the deal it freely accepted in negotiations with Comcast. The agreement we have to carry the NFL Network is pro-consumer. It allows us to place this expensive channel on a tier of service for those who wish to pay for it, not on a tier where everyone must pay for it." NFL Network's lack of availability has become an especially contentious issue because of the eight live regular-season games a year it started airing in 2006. Members of Congress got involved in December when it appeared that many fans would not be able to watch a potentially historic game between the New York Giants and undefeated New England Patriots. At the last minute, the NFL decided to simulcast the game on CBS and NBC.

Yeah I never was a Joe fan. I read that his heart really wasn't into it anyway. I liked Curley Joe Derita better but with him I almost felt like they were going for a Curley replacement. Still, he had some good moments on his own. Its a shame the original four (Moe, Shemp, Curley, Larry) all died before I was even born. But as I've grown, so has my collection of Stooge items. I was lucky enough to come across some DVDs that have interviews with Larry and Moe in the later stages of their lives and while it was depressing to see them in an advanced age and state, at the very least I felt like they'd aged as I've grown. It's a weird thing to explain. My biggest pet peeve is that pretty much anybody with a dvd burner can sell the four public domain episodes. Anytime you go to buy a Stooge DVD set, there's always "Disorder in the Court" "The Brideless Groom" "Malice in the Palace" and "Sing a Song of Six Pants." I am going to investigate the virtues of the purchase Nate (original poster) has made.

My Pal Moe by Bob Bernet featuring letters and rare photos of Moe Howard at home. http://web2.iadfw.net/willdogs/ Great website. The guy got to meet Moe back when he was alive after being pen pals with him. I have actually corresponded with the webmaster, really down to earth guy. He's out of dallas and in film production. We've exchanged quite a few emails expressing our Stooge Obsession. One weekend I'm stealing my niece from my sister and subjecting her to a three stooges marathon.

It's to appease the people that keep saying to keep the money 'here' but are sick of the Katrina stories. That's my guess.

If I'm understanding correctly, tomorrow is just a random feel good show and Thursday is the elimination show. Here's my review and analysis of the dial idol figures:

The PS2 was also a lot of people's first DVD player at the time as well. It was a selling point at the time. guilty. The BR feature is a selling point for me on PS3. The backwards compatibility thing kind of has me baffled even after much research. Blah.

I enjoy the heck out of this folder. My only issue is the game threads turn into a play by play sometimes and not discussion.

Questions from a Wrestling Fan 10 Years Ago

I remember the morning after WM XIV my girlfriend and I met in the hall before class (high school) exchanged our morning love notes (barf) and she was telling me what she expected to happen on Raw. Wrestling chatter in a love letter. -

I always wanted a European Championship belt since I thought it looked the coolest followed by the old IC Belt (when speaking specifically about the WWF/E...the big gold belt owns all for me). I think since the term 'grand slam' was a play on the baseball definition with four points, scores, runs... it would mean the four biggest titles which at the time is what they had; Euro, IC, HW, Tag. Now I guess maybe you'd do it by brand? I'm not sure that would work because no brand has four belts. And would you put the ECW title higher than IC/US ? Perhaps we fans should concede 'grand slam champion' is an archaic term?

Whats the first pay per view you saw live?
yankovic fan replied to Frankie Williams's topic in General Wrestling
First one I saw was Survivor Series 1992. Had to completely move and re stack our fire wood pile before my dad agreed to order and pay for it. First one I attended was Royal Rumble 2001. I'm in the people on the street segment during heat, the only one that doesn't sound like a goober (I'm wearing a gray t-shirt and saints ball cap). Only complaint I had about the show was our Section F row 16 didn't exist so we were moved to Section A row 25.
