Was reading up on old video games today and it dawned on me. \

I met Bobby Jindall, former US Congressman and current Louisiana governor. Really cool laid back guy that actually sits and listens to people.

I hate it, I really do, but at the end of the day, you are right. Everyone has battled an addiction one way or the other in their life I'm sure. I'm also sure what Jeff is hooked on is more extreme than say caffeine or chocolates but an addiction is still an addiction. One of the steps to overcoming is to remove yourself from the negative influences. And I'm sure we all know the first step...ADMITTING! Until Jeff takes the first step, well I don't know. I just hope and pray that in the next 60 days I don't log into this section of TSM to find a thread saying "RIP Jeff Hardy" or the less compassionate "Jeff Hardy: Dead." Perhaps its time all the OMEGA guys get together and stage an intervention on him.

That article is all kinds of slant and bias. Either way, that is a LOT of money for a kicker. And honestly I don't know that Mr. Brown is what the Rams need to fix their woes either. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out for both Seattle and Saint Louis in regards to special teams as well as what Seattle does with the free money and Saint Louis with what remaining cap room they have after investing this much in a kicker.

I remember once there was a semi-major match on Raw involving maybe Mr. Perfect in 1993 that went to commercial and when RAW came back on, the match was over. They then showed what happened. The following Saturday on Mania, at the point the match went to commercial it cut back to Pettingil who says something along the lines of 'yeah it went to commercial and there was a winner declared!" Always thought it was silly.

I have a vague memory of Ole being one of three 'judges' for a Sting/Rick Rude match. Time frame unknown but it is probably 91-92. I was more WWF then than WCW but I still watched.

My grandfather went on dates with the original Elly Mae Clampett back in the day before she got famous. As far as me, just mostly nfl football players. Bubba Rae Dudley bled on me at an ECW house show in 98.

Why???? I wouldn't even remember watching ANY wrestling PPV when I was 8, nevermind what day of the week it was. I was thinking earlier how interesting it is that some of us, myself included, can remember vividly match details from 18 years ago when we were kids, yet can't remember things like the details of other things in life. Goes with the fan boy territory.

Replacement disc arrived this afternoon. I played it, in stereo. I don't know if there is a difference b/c I got my sound system between the time I sent the disc off and got the new one in. Either way, back to pretending I'm a rock star.

The Youtube thread made me think. I just got done watching a 40 man battle royal from 1992 won by Davy Boy Smith, on Daily motion. I remember back then watching a 40 man on Prime time (or superstars not sure) that Berzerker won. Furthermore, I remember reading 'Battle of the Titans' in WWF magazine in 1992 and it talked about a 40 man won by Tatanka with the same ending sequence as the one I just watched on Daily Motion, only replace DBS knocking out the Beverly's with Tatanka doing it. My question is were they just going around having random 40 man's at house shows and tapings with random winners in 1992? If so how many does footage exist? I'd be curious to compare them. Granted how imaginative is booking on that outside of the finish?

They emailed me today to say the replacement is on the way.

Trent Green supposedly visited with the Saints, I seen on some random blotter today, forgive the source lack. Jaime Martin is a free agent (good) and I really like Tyler Palko's potential. I really am not in favor of having a walking calamity in my teams clutches. Hopefully Sean Payton will be more QB smart than that.

Apparently not BS End of an Era: Packers' Brett Favre Retires Michael David SmithPosted Mar 4th 2008 9:35AM by Michael David Smith Filed under: Packers, Breaking News, The Word Multiple media outlets are reporting that Packers quarterback Brett Favre has told coach Mike McCarthy that he is retiring, bringing to an end a Hall of Fame career in Green Bay. Jay Glazer of Fox Sports reports: Favre has decided to retire. In fact, it's believed he informed the Packers of his decision within the last few days, although it's unclear when Favre and the team will make his decision known. So barring an unforeseen last-minute change of heart, Favre will leave the game after 17 years, during which he built himself into a household name and a figure synonymous with grit, toughness and perseverance. Neither GM Ted Thompson nor head coach Mike McCarthy returned several calls left by FOXSports.com for confirmation. After flirting with retirement for the last few years, Favre will finally go out on the heels of one of the best seasons of his career. Favre leaves after one of his best seasons, in which he was named Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year. The Aaron Rodgers era will now begin. http://sports.aol.com/fanhouse/2008/03/04/...-favre-retires/

WWE General Discussion - February 2008

Have Rick Martel induct him, blindfolded. -
When he won it back from Randy Savage in 1992 (not too long after Savage/Warrior Summerslam match) on Prime time, after interference from Razor Ramon, he locked Savage into the Figure Four and Savage passed out without submitting. Not sure if you meant in the WWF/E or if passing out in the F4 counts, but that was the first one to pop in my head.
