But a lot of that would have to do with your habit of following on your own posts straight away with a seperate point rather then going back to your first post and editing it in.

Anthony and the Johnson album, to me, sounds like the same song played over and over again.... Might have to give it another try if it's actually meant to be any good.

Just seen on PuroresuPower.com that... Here is where they've got the report from. Will be very interesting to see how each of the books deal with the responsibility of Vince and the WWF for the decline of ECW.
-
Vince Snr ran the WWF under the umbrella of his Capital Sports Group. When Vince took over he repositioned the company under his Titan Sports company. Oh, and Mick Foley calls the HQ Titan Towers in his books, so I guess that makes it sort of more of an official name.

After last night, can we finally end the myth
The Decemberists replied to iggymcfly's topic in The WWE Folder
Quick addition to back up my losing to someone doesn't mean you've put them over - Perhaps the most famous example of putting someone over is Flair getting Sting over as a top guy at the first Clash. Sting did not beat Flair in that match, but the way the match went, with Sting dominating etc put Sting over as a credible top guy. Likewise, Hogan lost several times to Kidman in WCW, but because Hogan dominated the matches and Kidman got lucky pins it meant nothing. -

Losing isn't the same as 'putting over'. Despite Benoit last year and Dave this year being the WHC and therefore the theoretical 'top guy' Trips has still dominated every single episode of Raw, and despite losing the matches kicked Dave's ass in every single Raw encounter between them. It's things like having HHH open the first Raw after Mania and having the new champ not make an appearance till right at the end that suggests that HHH hasn't been quite as generous as some might think. -
I know you've not exactly got a proven manager or any money to spend and an almost crippling debt, but I am surprised you're thinking of relegation

Is it just on my PC that the viewer TNA give you for can't cope with it and crashes then?

Forest are 5/1 Favourites for the title at William Hills. I forget what the odds are for promotion of any sort, but it's embarrassingly short. I don't like us being favourites. Too much pressure.

Well, after being turned down by the Yeovil manager I guess that was about the level you were going to get.

Unless they're planning on moving Benjamin to SD and having the Hass fued there?

Ring of Honor 6.18.05 "Death Before Dishonor 3"
The Decemberists replied to a topic in General Wrestling
Really now? Because I am sick of reading that Bret would never do that but despite all the assurances VKM still had fits. All it takes is VKM to get out his chequebook and say CMP, how much is going to cost you to shit on the ROH title. You think that is beyond VKM? It wasnt beyond WCW. Youd be surprised what people can do when money is on the table. I dont think he would but... ROH is known by fans alot more than you think. You're comparing the WWF title to the ROH title? Jesus Christ, man, get a sense of perspective. The way you're writing suggests that you think Vince see's ROH as a threat, which is so stupid I'm almost lost for words. It wouldn't supprise me if Vince didn't end up bank rolling ROH like he did ECW at some point. CM Punk will do nothing for ratings in the WWE when he arrives, he will do nothing in terms of publicity like Bret Hart moving to WCW did which you compared it to earlier. All this is is Vince signing up a very talented Indy worker, who just happens to work for one of the bigger indies out there. It's not a big deal. -
Bisch was at his best in the WWE when he wasn't a heel, but when they were doing the angle of both GM's doing what they could to have to best show, so some decisions would go against heels as well as for them in the interests of being better than the "competiton". Straight up heel authority figures are so very, very, very old, but they won't stop them as they worked in 1998 so damnit they'll work now!

DVD Shrink won't read one of the .vod files properly. Which I'd guess backs up the copy protection theory. I'll try to do it with another avi file and see if that's any better.
-
I've converted an 'avi file to .vod using WinAVI VideoConverter, and I'm pretty sure this has worked properly, as PowerDVD will play those new files using the DVD on HDD thing. But for some reason I can't figure out how to get the .vod files onto a bloody DVD. If I go through WinAVI and click burn files it loads up Nero Express 6 and then I click to burn DVD-Video files, as that's what .vod files are, right? If I just add the four .vod files that were made from the .avi files it comes up with which is because it's missing the 'VIDEO_TS.IFO' and 'VIDEO_TS.BUP' files, I think. But when I add the .vod files plus the other files created during the conversion, 'VIDEO_TS.IFO', 'VIDEO_TS.BUP', 'VTS_01_0.IFO' and 'VTS_01_0.BUP' it tells me that the and that What the hell does any of this mean? I presumed once I'd converted the files to .vod files actually getting them on the DVD would be easy. Does anyone know where I've gone wrong, or what it is I'm not doing that I need to do?
-
Really? I would've thought the copy protection would have kicked in when whoever it was who ripped to DVD and converted it to an .avi file was doing there bit.

He was probably Burnley's best player last season. Attacking full-back. Should be more than good enough for the other Scottish teams, but whether he's good enough for to play in Europe for you I'm not sure.

FOREST HAVE SIGNED SOMEONE!!!! :D :D Unfortunatly it's Nicky Southall, but it's the thought that counts...

Anyone else thinking, or just hoping for, a Raven/Joe feud? Tenay and West were *really* putting Joe over on commentry and the crowd were definatly into him so there's a chance. Although TNA does seem to have a habit of giving itself loads of great options like it has now in terms of where to go with the title picture, and then picking the worst possible one, which normally means more Jarrett.

I really don't undertstand your Sun love. I always thought that only people with 3 working brain cells read that particular paper. Although you are Sheep so maybe that explains it Not sure if this counts as 'silly' but the Evening Post said we were BOUND to CERTAINLY sign Tes Bramble WITHOUT DOUBT and that our Chief Exec was tying up the deal as they wrote. When our Chief Exec was asked about this his reply was " erm, without meaning to be rude to the lad, but who the hell is Tes Bramble?" Last summer we were linked with John Hartson though, which certainly counts.

Every couple of months or so me and my mates have a competition where you need a make a CDR of 15 songs which all have a common theme, for example the last one was religion, and then do enough copies for however many people are taking part, hand them out and then mark each track for music quality and relevance to theme. Everyone who enters puts in £5 and the winner gets the pot. And I was thinking maybe we could sort something out on the board, using You Send It to upload the tracks as MP3s, or as a zip folder of the album if You Send It let's you do that or not, I'm not sure. The only problem would be getting a sort of prize, but would the pride of victory be enough? And the real point is to get you listening to songs you normally wouldn't, like I've got into the Smithereens and Sophie Zelmani by liking tracks of theirs that have ended up on a mate's entry. Any thoughts?

^^^ Exactly Yay for Roger being back, but the number of kids at the event who'll either know or care who the old men on the stage are playing that 'weird shit', or whatever they'll think of it, hardly makes it worth it.
