They were horrible. Not Katie Vick horrible, but even as a young mark I was thinking "What the hell is this crap?" Probably on par with the other pseudo-celebrity stuff they were doing with the likes of William Shatner – not hideously offensive, just really awkward, out of place, and generally a waste of good wrestling time. How dare you sir! Any use of William Shatner, or The Shat, if you will, is never a waste of time, wrestling or otherwise!

Hmmm... I registered summer 2003, the summer of our play off defeat and the start of our drastic decline... *spooky music increases in volume*

If CC isn't marking, then the rest of us can't really mark his entry, as it means that he'll have a greater number of marks available to him than anyone else. Unless we do it by average mark instead of total marks.

Marking Sheet This is obviously without Tit's entry, but still...

You're just not down wit da kids in tha hood, Rudo

I'll do so in this afternoon.

I'm beginning too, but I think that's mainly because of Football Manager playing rather than being seduced by the new names. I try to call the divisons Division 1, Division 2, Division 3 and Division 4 as a bitter, one man protest against the Prem and the new names.

Not to go on about North End's glorious victory last night, but some of Burley's decisions were pretty questionable... Taking Kenna off and putting Taylor on, moving Konjic to centre forward, not having Tudgay or Holmes on the bench when you had to score goals... even I thought those were somewhat odd choices.
-
Well thank God you played Grzegorz Rasiak anyway. Besides, you should try being 3-1 up and still losing in the semi-finals of the playoffs. So is that you fucked now, finance wise?

Not that you're desperate or anything....

Well, in part, yes he has. Although, it should be noted, that when he took over West Brom were 17th. He then went on a 11 game run without a win and were bottom of the league. So it's his own mess he's fixed, not the mess of the previous manager, who ever he was.... I hate the summer... I'm missing my daily fix of ForestWorld TV news

"American Dragon" Bryan Danielson "quits" ROH
The Decemberists replied to DangerousDamon's topic in General Wrestling
I thought the reason RoH didn't put the belt of the likes of AJ, Fallen Angel, AmDrag and the like is that they were much more likely to get a WWE offer and vanish, unlike, say, Xavier, for example? Real shame if it's a shoot though. I'll have to investigate the All Star shows over here to see if I can get to see him before he calls it quits. -
Of all the mods to change my name I get the one who can't spell... I mean it's not hard - December with with 'ist' at the end!? Cheers anyway Brian I'll get my number album up sometime this afternoon, although it might not be till tomorrow as I had my last uni exam of the year this morning so will be drinking a stupidly large amount from some point this afternoon, depending on when my engineering mates exam finishes.

Don't worry about it. The Premiership's for losers anyway... as is the CCC now that I think about it. You're better off without it, honest.

Now you say that, but I do have another mouse which I have plugged into the port and that has the same problems too, so i'm pretty sure it's not the mouse itself. Although I'll probably buy a usb one tomorrow anyway, unless I can fix this, as both the ones I have are non-usb, whatever the technical term is.
-
ARGH! My mouse has packed up on me. It's just stuck in the middle of the screen and won't move, or recognise clicks or wheel spins. The icon though does change when it ends up on text feilds or buttons etc, and the mouse still lights up red when it's plugged in, so it's sort of getting through. But this leaves me having to do EVERYTHING through the keyboard, which is already proving to be so fucking fustrating I'm tempted to throw the damn thing through the monitor and it's only been 5min. I've unplugged the mouse and plugged it in again, and turned the pc on and off a few times. This hasn't worked and so I'm totally out of idea's on what I'm supposed to do. Any ideas??????

The Wedding Present - Dreamworld I don't know how many times that I've tried to warn you How many times I've heard you laugh and say, "Underneath it all, he's okay" And how many times have you rang and sworn You'd given him one last chance and he let you down But then he'd call and you'd go back round You know I still care because you only have to phone me and I'll be over there Why can't you see just what he's doing to you Is it all because of him? Well of course it is And I hate to see you like this You just won't understand You don't want to listen do you? Just because it's not what you like to hear You ask me, and to me it's clear You know I still care because you only have to phone me And I'll be over there to lick your wounds You know I'll always be here for you You say you feel left out Well I know exactly how to cure you You just can't go on pretending You just can't go on pretending You just can't go on pretending You just can't go on pretending I'm on my way right over there to lick your wounds You know I'll always be here for you You say you feel left out Well I know exactly how to cure you You know you make me want to shout Oh just tell me what is new, girl You say you feel left out Well you are living in a dreamworld

Cinerama - Health and Efficiency And we ate peaches in this very place The juice was running down your face I poured coffee from a flask; it tasted funny And then we tried to make love by this lake I remember you began to shake And I was far too scared to ask if you were coming We bought 'H & E' because we thought it was dirty It's strange just how innocent it all looks today We tried to imagine ourselves naked at thirty But that always seemed such a long way away We looked for mountaintops to climb Just because we needed things to fill our time We were young and free, and boy, did we abuse it But everything was so clear-cut And this is such a cliché but You don't appreciate the joy until you lose it I was jealous and mean you were fragrant and flirty It's strange just how innocent it all looks today We tried to imagine being together at thirty But that always seemed such a long way away...

You see... any opinion you have on music is immediatly invalidated by your Busted fandom. This rule also applies to Depeche Mode, Sting's solo work and McFly.

Outlandish Things you'll probably never see
The Decemberists replied to Vern Gagne's topic in General Wrestling
Well, technically, Mankind did get buried once on Smackdown! thanks to Triple H. I love shoot comments that aren't sup- oh wait, that's someone elses joke. Whose? I heard it on quite a few sites but they always say it's from another recapper It's the one who's name cannot be mentioned on the Smart Marks... -
What the hell's wrong with Less Than Jake!? I gave Queen and Busted both 0's. My highest marks went to Ooberman (who I'd never heard anything by before), Beach Boys, Judas Priest (although it was a close one on Thrashist's to see who got more than a 1), Smiths and then REM and Springsteen tied for the highest mark on Brians. And what the hell's wrong with Less Than Jake!?

Hogan turning heel at BatB 96. From a horribley stale super hero face, back to being, for about a year, the number one draw in the US again. The matches still sucked, but in terms of being a draw it was a pretty awesome turn around.
-
I don't think there was a "fight" as such, but I believe Tommy Lee was pretty pissed with how close HBK was getting to her and wanted to "have a word" with him but Pamela convinced him it was nothing to worry about.

All the scores are in, so here's the final leaderboard.... 1st - Brian = 267 points 2nd - MiG = 246.5 points 3rd - Sterling Tit = 244 points 4th - Mystery Eskimo = 233 points 5th - Thrashist = 229 points 6th - Beast = 218.5 points Brian is therefore announced as the inaugural Smart Marks Music Folder Grand Champion, and is thus enpowered to declare the topic of any forthcoming competition to defend his newly won crown. Of course, some might think it somewhat strange that the only mod taking part in the competition won, but... y'know, I'm sure it was just a coincidence...
