The Decemberists are great. I keep meaning to ask a mod to change my name to 'Decemberist', but mods scare me So, with only Thrashists votes to come in, the current standing is thus; 1) Thrashist = 229 points 2) Brian = 228 points 3) Morrissey Is God = 210.5 points 4) Sterling Tit = 201 points 5) Eskimo = 199 points 6) Beast = 178.5 points So it's all still to play for as we anxiously await the final marks....... Oh, and the best thing I head that I hadn't heard before was probably the Springsteen song, which is kinda worrying, as I'm not supposed to like him in principle, but now feel i probably should check out a 'best of' or something.

Brutus Beefcake. I know it was only really because he was Hogan mate, but the guy main evented SummerSlam 89 and Starrcade 94 for Gods sake!

Good tape selling websites...
The Decemberists replied to The Decemberists's topic in General Wrestling
Also pretty awesome. Thanks -
I was tempted to put this into the Tape Trading folding, but as it's about buying tapes I thought I'd risk it and put it in here. If I messed up could a mod move it for me? Cheers. Anyway, basically I want to know what tape sites UK buyers would reccomend, in terms of reliabilty and speed of delivery. I current only use Highspots, which although has a lot of stuff, does have everything by a long way. And I'd rather not use RF Video like I used to seeing as what Rob's been up to... ahem. So which sites would other UK buyers reccomend?

The site does look pretty awesome. Thanks a lot :: -
I'm by no means an expert, but I'd imagine you can't really go wrong with the 5 DVD Misawa set from Highspots.com. It doesn't have *everything* by any means, but it does have pretty much everything between 1990 and 1993.

Quite right to - Prutts is back, what further garantee of three points can there be than having an ex-Forest player in the team!?
-
How on earth we're accused of living in the past when Derby sing have songs about Steve Bloomer I really don't know
-
Don't know about Leicester, but no, none of the Forest releases are worth picking up. Chris Doig is much much more than capable of playing in League 1. If we had ever played him at center back rather than left back he'd be much more highly thought of. He'll be a hell of a free signing for someone. You're probably right about the rest though... although Gregor Robertson might come good in a few years, it was probably unfair to stick him in the team in the situation we were in.

What Nigel's doing is that he's going to buyout the remianing 25% of the club he doesn't own, which apparantly is no problem as whoever owns it is more than happy to sell, and the pay off ALL the 'short term debt', which is everything except the Trend End loan off the council. with his own money. So as well as the £6.5m he gives us every year to keep us going, he's giving us an extra £10m or £15m to make us pretty much debt free. So that's at least one thing we'll have over Derby, who I think are still about £40m in debt and in big, big trouble if they don't win the play offs.

I have a big problem with Paul McCartney's solo stuff and even some of his Beatles work as I just can't stand his whole "I'm just a normal bloke me! Blokey blokey bloke! I'm normal. Yeah, I have £700,000,000 in the bank, but I'm just an everyday guy!" persona. Sting is just too pretentious for words, but isn't creative enough to back it up like Peter Gabrial, for example. And Cobain's just a wanker, frankly. And the heroin addict from the Libertines, something Doherty, pisses me off too much for me to like their stuff too much. And Bono, for reasons listed above.

That's the one. He looked OK for the few minutes he played for us. Decent attacking midfeilder who could do a job. Missed two one on one's with the keeper though I think. Not exactly shedding tears he's leaving though, as 3 games in 6 months isn't really too great.

Yes How can anyone not love Cornette booking?
-
Johnno's been linked with Hull for months, so I'd be surprised if there's nothing in it. I'm not 100% sure if you're joking about Nowland.... JK signed him for £250,000 from West Ham, and he then did his hamstring on his debut. On his return from injury... he did his hamstring again. And then in his first game back in the reserves... he did his hamstring. So it is infact wholey possible people don't know we've had him for six months.

Yeah, go on then. The deadline for marking is the end of the weekend.

http://romhustler.net/ has plenty of N64 roms. It's where I've got all mine from. However, they've recently changed the compression type from zip files to 7zip, which has confused me far too much so I've given up on expanding my collection.

Excellent. That's my favourite of the Flair/Steamboat series and finally i'll have a version of it that isn't god awfull quality like the VHS I have of the ppv.

Cornette Given Leave of Absence by WWE
The Decemberists replied to Zack Malibu's topic in The WWE Folder
But I thought Vince or Johnny Ace or whoever COULD NOT FIRE him because they do not own or run OVW? If that's changed then could someone tell me, because I know that as of Cornette's 2003 shoot interview that was the case, although obviously that's a few years ago. -
It's probably best to post the overall mark for each CD on here, to ensure that I don't "mis-count" the marks and announce myself as the winner
-
He's been linked with us, believe it or not... We need someone to replace the 12 players we've released and the 5 available for transfer if anyone's stupid enough to want them.

Cornette Given Leave of Absence by WWE

I thought the WWE couldn't get rid of Cornette as they don't run or own OVW, but just have a working relationship with them...? -
