It's not meant to be subjective, it's all personal opinion. Like say Dave, John and Steve are doing it. Dave gives a CDR to both John and Steve, who each mark each track twice, once for the song itself, and then for the relevence to the topic. Then the total marks given by John and Steve are added to gether and divided by two to get the average, so that then becomes the score for Dave's CDR. So if someone does a CD which is full of death metal then person A who hates death metal would score it low for music, but could it could still score highly for the theme. But then if person B likes death metal then it could score highly for the music and for the topic.

I don't think there does have to be some physical contact with AJ and Jarrett. If they build it as "AJ's waited a whole month to get his hands on Jarrett" or something like that then that could be enough.

We revealed our new away kits for the next two seasons today; I quite like both of them. Glad we've stopped having a white away kit as I look bad in white and it always seems a bit plain. The dark blue one has red trimming so that's also pretty good, and although I like having yellow away kits as that's what we had back in the late 70's the green trip makes it look much too like a Norwich shirt... Shame we've lost our cool Inter Milan away kit though

Ordered it from Highspots today, along with Gordon Solie's book. It's meant to be very Foly-like, which is a good thing certainly. -

Best and Worst Wrestling Books
The Decemberists replied to Shanghai Kid's topic in General Wrestling
But he is a published author, which helps. If you've heard any of the interviews the writers have done for the book, RD admits all he did was write the intro and outro and left the main part of the book to Alvarez. He interviewed Bobby Heenan. I'll admit it's not much, but it's something. Check the credits at the back of the book. They also watched a hell of a lot of tapes, which probably counts. But Sex, Lies and Headlocks, although a good read, is full of errors and it's very obvious at points that Nash had a lot to do with the side of the story they show. For the first problem of errors, there's things like saying Foley took his Hell in a Cell dive before WM XIV, something that someone who "has been closely following wrestling through firsthand contacts, including the McMahons, for over 20 years" should not be getting wrong. And for the second point, they have a go at Hogan for his politics, but Nash, who they interviewed for the book, gets off free. If you don't like the humour then that's a personal choice, rather than a problem with the book itself. The humours there as both the F4 newsletter and Wrestlecrap are written in that tongue-in-cheek manner. As far as I'm concerned the gently humour in Death of WCW stopped it from being a more depressing read than it actually is. Anyway. I didn't think much of Lawlers book. It could've been so much better, but it isn't. I'm also not sure how Piper's book is getting any praise. The whole book seems to be a set formula of 1) territory is failing, 2) Piper arrives, 3) Piper single handidly sells out every arena in the territory. And he never seems to make his mind up over whether the matches are real or not, going from talking to the business being "entertainment" and then saying how he beat someone easilly in the fight next week. I was also really dissappointed by Martha Hart's book. I'm not quite sure why but I was expecting more about Owens career and the business so I was disappointed with it in that respect. I'll probably re-read it with a more open mind and see what I think of it then. Foley's books, Death of WCW and Tributes I and II are highly reccommended though. -
Heh, the Foxes grab three points against the Sheep. County can still yet slip up and miss the play offs...

We sent out Marlon and Johnno on loan for two reasons; a) They're crap and don't score b) They don't care they're crap and don't score. Dobie doesn't score either, but at least he fucking tries unlike those two.
-
Thing is, it's not just two more wins. We can win both games 10-0 and still go down... not that we'll win both games anyway. We've beaten QPR twice already this season, and we're not going to fluke it against them for a third time. Gills at home I can see us winning, but I'd imagine we'd be down by then anyway. Right now my main hope is that Oldham stay up in League One so I've got a very close away game next season.

I won't admit to have seeing *loads* of his work, but for the most part it was pretty much modern "WWE style" brawling I think, long before anyone else was doing it anywhere near that well though. He would have been the post neck injury Austin to Ric Flair's Benoit I think would be a somewhat fair comparsion. Great matches, but not great technical displays of wrestling, if you know what I mean.

Well, that's steroids for you.

Riiiiight.... Only he DIDN'T tear two quads. He tore his quad ligaments or something, which is nowhere near as serious.
-
How does the LDV work? I've never really paid any attention to it before, but I think we're in it next year so I oughta know exactly what we need to do to win it. Will it have a Wembley final next year too like it used to?
-
But isn't that kinda the point...?
-
Best of the APA if it was a punishment.
-
Well... yes. But that's beside's the point. As we'll lose at least 2-0 because we're crap and we only can be arsed against the 'big teams' and Reading aren't quite a 'big team' this season. Although they're not another crap team, so a draw could be a possiblity. But we'll lose as we're crap.
-
Thing is... we're not going down because we're drawing 1-1 home to Sheffield Utd. We're going down because against the likes of Crewe, Plymouth, Rotherham etc the player's we've got can't be arse to perform. The attitude of the players who are actually good is shocking. And the players who give 100% no matter what, Doig, Evans... erm... well, Doig and Evan are crap. They give everything, but everything of 0 is still 0. Apart from Commons, who's God. Just for the hell of it I put £5 on Forest winning 3-0 at 33-1 and £10 on Commons as first goal scorer at 9-1 on Tuesday... Commons goal was the highlight of the season! My mum got me tickets for the Reading away game as a birthday present... to say it's possibly the worst thing she could've got me is an understatement

Is that all the response? I thought you'd at least to go back to repeating your argument -

If it was my only source I'd be an idiot. I've got stuff by Garrison, DiLorenzo, Royster, Farmer and Jones and others I think that's enough to get a decent overview.
