Status Quo - Big Fat Mamma Yes, I know it's Quo, but this song seriously fucking rocks

Worst has to be Foley in 1999. Not saying he didn't deserve it or anything like that, but... the look just isn't right. Best has to be Flair.

I might try and get free tickets as I know Jack Storm who's wrestling there, but I'm not really that bothered about it. I've fallen out with FWA after they send word to a really, really small little promotion I was helping out with that we couldn't call our main title a "world title" as that belonged soley to FWA... for God's sake, the biggest crowd we had was about 30 but some how the FWA decided we weren't allowed to have a world title

I see those Nazi Germany parallels...yeeeup. MY GOD, SIX HOURS?!?! He might have missed check-in time at his hotel if he'd not planned on such a delay! Those monsters! Just so you know - I'm not really justifying his stance with that, just saying what he's said about what happened to him. Personally I wish he'd bloody shut up about it and stop writing songs about Bush and lawyers and judges etc and go back to writing about things he did prior to the court case with the other ex-Smiths and the Bush administration. Plus for someone who doesn't vote he can't really complain too much....

The two main theories are that I Won't Share You is either about - a) Johnny Marr who Moz didn't like working with other musicans as he was worried someone else would steal him away from The Smiths. Or b) Linder Sterling. An old friend of Morrissey who was in the new wave jazz group Ludus. This only really works if you also believe the rumour that Moz has been in love with Linder for 30 years but she's never liked him in that way. Which might be true, but not many people believe it. The Severed Alliance is good - but don't bother reading the chapters on the Morrissey and Maher (Marr) famillies. Unless you're desperate for a very dull and poorly written history of Irish-English immigrants.

How can you not mention I Won't Share You from Strangeways!? Awesome song that almost makes up for Unhappy Birthday and Death At One's Elbow on the same side.

His main gripe was being held and searched and treated like shit by security when going home to LA after the European leg of his 2002 tour. They locked him up for 6 hours and wouldn't tell him why and went through his bags and questioned him about what he'd been doing out of the country and how long he claimed to live in the US for etc.
-
Yep, in Clark Gable's old house, next door to Johnny Depp I believe. Anyway, is this really news? It'll make no difference what-so-ever to the election. Surely it won't be *that* close where the few thousand US ultra-hardcore fans who would vote Kerry just as Moz said so would make a difference. And Quarry is excellent. Lazy Dykes apart there's very little wrong with it - it's definatly up there with Vauxhall and Your Arsenal.

Power DVD on my PC says that the audio is "Dolby Digital 2.0 192kbps"

In defense of my UK brothers, the reason that we "eat anything up" from them is that when you only get 5 house shows a year and no TV tapings (bar last week obviously) then you get what you can. When there's a decent demand for a product and very little supply it's no surprise they can sell 20,000 tickets for shows when they do come over, no matter how bad they are at the time.

I felt so bad for Leicester fans when Dave Bassett was saying how they want a "Leicester-style manager"... Plus Bassett said something like "We've a tradition of great managers here at Leciester, Martin O'Neil, Mickey Adams...erm.. the list goes on and on" which I found very funny. Incase I'm unable to give a prediction tomorrow I'm going to give one now so if it's wrong because I don't know the latest team news - Forest 0 Wolves 2.
-
Not exactly a prediction - there are no other choices! Ah, but there in lies the genius of it We were poor, as we usually are against rubbish teams, but we did enough. JJ didn't look the world beater he did in his heyday against the might of Bradford and Wallsal, but did OK considering the conditions.

T Rex - Mambo Sun

John Burns! I remember him. Yeah, he was poor. So poor in fact that Big Ron used to pick him. Never a good sign... We got fuck all for Jimbo as his contract had expired. Which was annoying. England game tonight - as Sky reckon that Jenas will be Becks replacement I'm going to have to predict a thrashing as JJ is of course a Forest legend and will no doubt score 6 or 7 himself. Real prediction - either an easy 4-0 or a massive stuggle and 2-1 or 1-0.

Cristina - Is That All There Is?
-
I'd recomend listening to Panic and then T-Rex's Metal Guru right afterwards... Weird Al - The Sage Begins
-
I haven't heard about Lita. Wouldn't say no though at the moment. The main rumour with us is we're trying to do a swap deal with another First Division club (probably Leeds) with Marlon King. Who was the Forest reject you got with the deal for Jim? There's been so many of them I'm not sure which joined you.

More Owen debate. He did well enough in the Euro's, didn't score many obviously, but assist wise he rated well and his overall play was good in terms of taking defenders with him on runs and giving Lampard, Rooney etc space to run into. Last season for Liverpool he got 20 goals again despite being injured for large parts of the season, and he's not had a chance to do anything this season at Madrid as Raul pretty much picks the team and he's not going to drop himself. If you get every team in England and ask would Owen get in there team the answer is yes, apart from Man U and the Arse. Even Chelsea would pick him ahead of Kezan and Gudjohnsen. Well, I would if I was in charge I'd have him in the bloody Forest team anyway...

You need all four Toxie films, The Class Of Nuke 'Em High, Troma's War, Sgt Kabukiman NYPC... basically any films that Lloyd wrote/directed are best to start with. EDIT: Can't believe I forgot this one to start with but you absolutly HAVE to get Tromeo and Juliet.
-
57 starts for England - 27 goals. [/sARCASM]Yeah, he's dead shit isn't he?[sARCASM] I can't really see how people can slag off Owen really... but each to their own I suppose... Anyway, pretty pleased with todays game. Thought we shoud've had a few more, and if Owen had played at all for Real this season I think he would've had one or two. Hopefully though Shawn "Too small for Forest" Wright Phillps will get a game on Wednesday thanks to Becks being suspended for being an idiot.

Has eveyone given up on this thread then? Anyway - England v Wales this weekend. I was going to say 3-1 England, but as Super Gaz Taylor has pulled out the Welsh squad that's been changed to 3-0.

I'm sorry, but... Morrissey - Jack The Ripper
-
Off the top of my head I would go for - Billy Bragg - "Rule Nor Reason" Morrissey - "Lost" The Wonder Stuff - "Sing The Absurd" Tori Amos - "Winter" Beach Boys - "Till I Die" The Smiths - "I Know It's Over" and Bret Hart's song off Wrestlemania - The Album
