I know Derby are definatly having one at their next game, but I don't know about else where. Sky reckon there's either going to be a minutes silence or black arm bands or both at the Man U v Scouse game tonight. I'm so gutted. Really big shock. Apart from two seasons (1958/59 and 1966/69) Forest have always been a pretty poor team, generally top flight, but occassionally struggling in division 2, but under Brian it's unbelievable how good we were. And yeah, he really should've won the European Cup with Derby. Didn't they get cheated by the ref or something in the Semi's? Plus he would've won the UEFA Cup in 1984 with us but Alderchet bribed the ref in the Semi. Thanks for everything Brian.

I've seen the "reunion dolls" three times this summer, including Killer Kane's last gig, and they are excellent. Obviously it's not the real Dolls, but for Johansen and Slyvain + others it's a helluva lot better than it should be.

No, Prutts does always have to get a yellow card every game. He's been doing it since he was 18 so I don't think he'll stop now. Has he been sent off for you yet. btw?

To be honest I wish Reid had gone. He spends far too much time on the pitch yelling at all the other players and trying to dribble past everyone. He also thinks he's too good to pass the ball - he has to try a 20 yard floater right onto someone's toe and he manages it about 1 in 10 attempts. Dawson's out for another few months too. We are totally, totally fucked. And it's not Kinnear's fault, the players he's got in are all reasonably good (apart from Impy, but still...) but he's not been given the money to sign players good enough to make a proper impact. Kris Commons look like he could be a very decent left winger, but he'll never get in the team as long as Reid's about, Kevin James look like a better right winger than Impy, but that's not saying much. Rogers trys hard but is no where as good as he was back 1997 - 1999 before he did his knee in. Paul Gerrard though is the best keeper in the division by miles. We currently have 5 points, but without him we'd have 2 or 3. Third Division for us next season...

Raymonde - Every Single Night Beautiful stuff. For those who don't know, the singer/song writer of Raymonde was James Maker, an old friend of Morrissey's in Manchester. After Raymonde failed to make it (which they really should've done considering how good the Babelogue album is) he moved to Sweden (I think) and starred in a few hardcore gay porn films, and is now recording as Frankenstien.

Hello all, I'm back (not that you'll have noticed my absence, but anyway.) Forest - We're crap. We're going down. It's all Platt's fault. That is all.

I was trying to download the orginal Wolfenstein 3D and thought I'd found it on SoulSeek. It ended up being nothing, but now i can't delete it. When i try to delete it or move it I get the message - "cannot delete Wolfenstein 3D (Full Version) (1) (1): It is being used by another person or program. Close any programs that might be using this file and try again" According to 'Who Lock Me?' the problem is that the file is being used by windows explorer somehow, so i don't know how to get rid of it. The file isn't a virus or anything, but it's just sitting on my desktop tauting me... Does anyone know how I can get rid of it? Oh, and I'm using Windows XP if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance

Morrissey - Tomorrow (live in Alyesbury 1999) With the lyric change of "Tomorrow, will it really come? And If it does come, will I still be human? Oh... I've got testicles, I've got two testicles!" Instead of "Tomorrow, will it really come? And If it does come, will I still be human? Oh! The pain in my arms! Oh! The pain in my legs!"

Roy's Keen is quality! It's just a fun little pop song, nothing wrong with that. However - ALL of Morrissey's Kill Uncle album deserves a place in this thread. Most are good live on all the 1991 bootlegs I have, but on the album... *shudder* EDIT - and the lines "your boyfriend he, went down on one knee. Well could it be, he's only got one knee" is far, FAR worse than any lyric from Roy's Keen

First thing I did and I try it everytime I turn the pc on but i get the same message.

Paul McCartney - Let Me Roll It I'm *trying* to like Macca's solo stuff... but a lot of it's just too, well, nice. Plus for every one amazing pop-rock song which blows me away, there's about 10 where I just can't see why he bothered.

This coming from "Morrissey is God" Well he's not exactly un-violent. After the IRA bombed the Tory party conference in 1985 (I think) his response was "it's only a shame they didn't kill Thatcher".

Sorry, I just needed to get that off my chest...

Edited for the truth. lol

Franz Ferdinand - Dark Of The Matinee I HATE Take Me Out, and wasn't going to get the album, but I saw them support Moz at the MEN and they kinda blew me away. Still cannot listen to Take Me Out, by this song is edging towards being one of my favourite songs ever.

Raw House Show Results From Manchester, England
The Decemberists replied to Dark Age's topic in The WWE Folder
Damn - I live 20mins from the Arena and didn't get tickets when they came out because, well, Raw sucked backed then.... now I kinda wish I'd made the effort, even if just to see HBK. Not that I'm a huge mark of his but, y'know, it's HBK damnit! -
Well, that's Palace up for a year. There's no way they'll stay up - West Ham would've had a much better chance. Shipperly, Johnson and Freedman are just not good enough for the Premier League so they'll have to spend a lot, but can anyone see any decent players going to Palace? It's not like they've got a real tradition and history (yes, I know - typical Forest talking about history) to attract players. At least it means I don't have to make the god awful trip to Selhurst Park next season. Oh, and this weekend is the 25th anniversiry of Forest winning the European Cup for the first time. So to celebrate I though everyone on this forum could post a photo of their team lifting the European Cup. Here's John McGoven - So I await the photo's of Derby, Bristol, Southampton, Leicester etc and their European Cup triumphs.... Edit - Jesus, I've really got to stop living in the past....

Stupid thread.... Like KKK said, calling US Football crap didn't exactly help. Anyway, I'm a soccer man myself, but I'll more than happilly watch NFL on Sky, and I've spent hours on Madden 2004. What I've found, and I'm not saying this is for everyone or anything, the more I looked into American football the more I liked it. To start with I thought it was crap for all the reasons at the start of the thread, but having investigated, thinking there must be something in it to be as popular in the US as it is I really began to "get it", so to speak. It's not just fat guy running at people while not fat guys throw a ball. The whole plays thing about each individual guy running to a certain area to create space etc is great. But with soccer I think, and again I'm not saying this is a *fact*, its just what I think, its the freedom the players have, and the fact that anything can happen at any time which can lead to a goal. And I know the same is true for US football in it's own way, but it is very, erm, rigid I guess you could say with the downs system etc. But rugby is just *awful*
