Huddersfield lost to Chesterfield last night, so the top eighgt now reads... 1 Southend 43 29 78 2 Colchester 43 15 72 3 Brentford 43 18 71 4 Huddersfield 43 12 69 5 Barnsley 43 17 67 6 Nottm Forest 43 16 67 7 Swansea 43 19 66 8 Oldham 43 -1 63 I'm telling you, we're going to finish second.

Some more showing off... Yesterday our attendance was 28,193. Only Chelsea, Sunderland and Spurs had more people at their games.

ANOTHER WIN! Annoyingly the Oldham v Barnsley game wasn't a draw so we're still not quite in the top six, but we're still kicking ass and I think all the other results went out way. Second is now a even greater possibility...

There's one with all the January transfers on the SI site that I've got. Just use the check for updates button thing on the main screen when you load the game and it'll take you to it.

Steph's first decision as head of creative - or whatever it's called - was making Rikishi the man who ran over Austin, so from that Raw onwards I think it's all Steph written, or Steph approved.

Yes, but if he doesn't turn up for the Lockdown PPV like has been spectulated then he might not be for much longer.

I can't help but think that's kinda stupid. I've no real reasoning behind that, but my gut feeling is that that's a stupid thing to do.

Because... it's not much of a prestigious belt if any old wrestler get's a shot every week on TV. They're trying to build the belt to mean something, and having it defended on TV every week would not help towards that aim at all as surely not everyone who would be having these title shots would be anywhere near deserving. Plus, the idea then is that the NWA title match becomes something special and merely the fact the belt is on the line and the Champ is in action can help draw a bigger buyrate, or, if needed, pop a TV rating for a special Impact! or something. It's the same reason Flair didn't defend the NWA title on WorldWide or whatever every week during the 1980s. However, Christian does need to be on Impact more, even if it's just doing commentary or something on a match to keep him - and the title - in the minds of the fans.

Not sure about since Christmas, but the form table for the last eight is thus, Also... We have five games left; Three of the teams we play (Tranmere, Yeovil and Bradford) are in the bottom six in terms of results against top-half teams. Two teams (Bournemouth and Hartlepool) are in the bottom seven in terms of recent form - eight games. Two of our away games (Hartlepool and Bradford) are in the bottom three on the Home results league table Hartlepool and Bradford are in the bottom six in terms of goals scored. It's amazing to be excited about Forest again, even if it just about getting promoted from out of the third divison...

I'm yet to find any bug related problems with FM2006, but due to uni I've not been able to play it anywhere near as much as the older versions.

I'm hoping that as they know they can't do a patch to fix things then they'll put the bloody effort in to make sure it's right.

Is it wrong that I am more than likely going to buy a PSP purely to play Football Manager Handheld while at work?

According to our official site our game at Chesterfield tomorrow is a local derby!? I really don't understand yet... We have three derby games - the Sheep, Leicester and Notts - bloody Chesterfield don't come close. They hate us though, we're being told. AND in the away end it's STANDING!!! It's like the bloody dark ages. I was standing at Chester, but that was the FA Cup so not quite such a culture shock, but standing in a league game is bloody weird.
