Eddie was Black Tiger II brought in to face Tiger Mask III.

I'm sure there's an exact quote you're going to supply me with. And one prior to November 6th 1860 I think would be best, don't you? Plus there's the fact that Virginia, New York and Rhode Island all had clauses included in their ratifications of the Consitiution that permitted them to withdraw from the Union if they felt the government had become oppressive. And of course with the good ol' US of A being founded on the principle of equality (if we forget the whole allowing slaves thing) with each state having the same rights, then it's impossible for those three states to have more rights than the others, so all the other states also had that right to secede. Not entirely sure that I agree with that logic to be honest, but I do find it's something interesting to think about in a Constitutional history type manner which I know some of you wacky Americans think is important I'll try and bite my tongue if you reply to this, seeing as it'll only end up like our last argument with me quoting historians and primary sources and you, well, you just saying I was wrong

I'd have Holloway in an instant, however... I'm not really how how to take this, but it's been reported in Notts that, apparantly, Roy Keane has had his third interview for the job today. Hmmm... I'm sure it's bollocks, but some people on various forums who get transfer news a few days before it's announced have 'confirmed' it. I'm not convinced with us going for another inexperienced manager though after the mess Platt make of the job.

Since TNA took the NWA title Jarrett has defended it in...England, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, Japan and Mexico on several occasions, and the belt changed hands in Canada when Jeff beat Raven last year. When they did the weekly PPVs, part of Jarretts entrance video listed all the places he'd defended. There could be some other countries it's been defended in since then, but off the top of my head I can't remember what they'd be. The AWA title is currently the main belt in, I think, Zero-One. But I personlly would not count that as a current "world title", but the NWA one i definatly would.

You mean the one from 1848 when he said...

Bullshit. There's no such thing as a Constitutional right to secede from the Union, and the reason the South tried to secede had nothing to do with their "rights", but about pure greed (cheap slave labor + low tariffs). Let's not also forget it was the Confederacy that started the bloodshed by attacking Fort Sumter. This kind of revisionist history is a favorite of Southerners who want to brush their history of human enslavement under the rug, and of racists who use the "states rights" red herring to distract attention away from the fact that the only thing they really want the right to do is to subjugate their fellow human beings. The Confederacy was all about preserving the rights of rich white men, and nothing more. Educated historians agree that Abraham Lincoln was the greatest president America has ever had. The foolish ramblings of a deluded steriod-injecting bigot is hardly enough to convince me otherwise. I'm sure we've had this argument before Although I'm still surpised how it was fine for America to secede from the British Empire, yet it was not OK for the Confederacy to try and secede from the US. Plus the fact that Lincoln said that he believed that all people have rights to take up arms against their government if they wanted, but it wasn't OK when Lincoln was in charge of that government. But, again, we've had this argument and neither of us are going to change our minds.

What do you think of Nigel Clough apparently being targetted by Derby and Forest? Accrington Stanley, Halifax, Hereford, Stevenage, Morecambe, York, Grays Athletic, Exeter and Woking are all above Burton in the Conference. Would you be happy if any of their managers was appointed for you? I fucking wouldn't if Forest appointed one. All Nigel has going for him is his last name, the fact he's a Forest fan and a former awesome player. His team's rubbish and according to mates of mine who support York and Exeter they're just a bunch of thugs who whack it forward to two big lads up front. No thanks. WE WON SEVEN - ONE!!!!! Megson must just have lost the plot. The opinion for ages has been the players are actually good enough but are being let down by the manager, and today I think that's pretty much been proven. We played 4-4-2, passed the ball, and were just far far too good for Swindon, who'd won four out of their last five games. Play-Offs are still a possiblity....

He's spot on about Lincoln though.

Because every other X Divsion wrestler based post online consists of the words "personality" and "no", so I can only suppose they're trying to do something about it.... Not that I think they're nessessarilly doing a good job with it though.

Good point. I mean there have been SO many WWE black world champs you could never throw racism at them could you?

Has The Czech Republic yet to realize that solo Morrissey
The Decemberists replied to Giuseppe Zangara's topic in Music
Listen to Boomslang by Marr and then comeback and say he's "a million times better" than any of Moz's solo work (Kill Uncle excluded - even I'm not that deluded ) Charming Man is fine but over rated - there's a reason it was dropped from the live set very early on, even Morrissey and Marr find Heaven Knows somewhat embarrassing, and Barbarism is fine for what it is, but it just far far too long. And I'm surprised all it takes to be 'one of the best bassists ever' is to learn *exactly* what someone else tells you to play, as was the case for 99% of the Smiths output. I'm not saying the Smiths were shit for God's sake, it's just that I listen to Moz solo more than often than Smiths as I prefer it. And that Marr had a good four year run but has done nothing since then to suggest he's as great as he's made out to be. -

Sir, if J. Marr is so great why is the world not wetting itself in anticipation of his forthcoming Johnny Marr and the Healers album? And why has he done nothing (bar a Kirsty McColl track or two) of note since 1987? Rouke is a excellent bass player, but he's not drastically better, if better at all, than Bedders, Day or Bridgewood. And, let's be honest, all drummers are pretty much the same. Plus Moz is such a better singer than back in the Smiths days, with much more texture to his voice. -

You mean like this? Well at least they don't have shots like this of her on the show,
-
Love the show, but hate the Junior Mythbusters (apart from the hot one). It was a lot better with just Adam and Jamie.

Cornette sums it the difference between Meltzer and Keller as Meltzer writes what he thinks is the truth, whereas Keller writes what he wants to be the truth.

I don't think I actually went as far as to dimiss it, did I? I was trying to say that It's a shame that Stummer/Jones weren't writing songs like that anymore. I'd easilly put Police on a best of the Clash comp.
-
Police On My Back isn't too horrible, is it? Shame it's a cover.

Morrissey's UK tour is thus, 18/4 - Salford Lowry 19/4 - Llandudno Nw Theatre 20/4 - Leeds Town Hall 22/4 - Aberdeen Music Hall 23/4 - Stirling Albert Halls 25/4 - Dundee Caird Hall 26/4 - Greenock Town Hall 27/4 - Glasgow Academy 29/4 - Whitehaven Civic 30/4 - Gateshead Sage 3/5 - Sheffield City Hall 4/5 - Grimsby Auditorium 6/5 - Manchester Apollo 7/5 - Manchester Opera House 8/5 - Manchester Bridgewater 10/5 - Halifax Victoria Hall 11/5 - Blackburn King Georges 12/5 - Liverpool Philharmonic 14/5 - London Palladium 15/5 - Cardiff St Davids 17/5 - Reading Hexagon 19/5 - Portsmouth Guildhall 20/5 - Birmingham Symphony Hall 21/5 - London Palladium 23/5 - Truro Hall For Cornwall 24/5 - Cheltenham Town Hall 25/5 - Oxford New Theatre 27/5 - Kings Lynn Corn Exchange 28/5 - London Palladium Apart from tickets for the Palladium gigs which go sale on Friday, tickets for every other gig go on sale on the 27th which is so fucking annoying. Not only will it be chaos trying to get any, it also makes it fucking hard to try and go to multiple gigs. I *have* to go to all four Manchester ones so they'll be the one's I go for first, and I could be on the guestlist for the Scotland ones so hopefully I won't spend time getting any of them, but trying to get to some other tickets will be hard And of course I've still not paid up my debts from the 2004 tour... God, I need to get a life...

My understanding was that both have offered him deals in the past, but he'd rather be wrestling 20/30/40 minute matches with people who he wants to wrestle, rather than have a little more money and be put into 4/5/6 minute TV matches so he turned them both down.

What? The Beatles were from Liverpool, about 40 miles away from Manchester. Very different places...

Me and my housemate have set up a wireless network across our pc's with a broadband modem/router, and the internet part works great but there is a problem with the file sharing. I'm able to get files from his pc no problem, but his pc can't seem to get anything from mine. When you try to view my shared files from his pc you get told you might not have permission to use this network resource. I'm guessing that this means that somewhere on my pc something is not letting him get through, but I've no idea what. I've tried it with all firewalls and internet security down just to see if that was the problem but it made no difference. Does anyone know what could fix it?

You know, not many teams can manage to score a 90th minute equaliser and still lose 3-1 but, by God, we managed it today and with some style to...
