It's illegal anyway these days isn't it even if they'd done it right? Isn't the rule that an opposition must touch the ball before a teammate can touch it?
-
Reading the old Herbs Tidbits and found this, which is pretty funny and thought it needed pointing out.
-
No, but it is infinitly better than the second team.

*sigh* Team vs Hartlepool, Hoult Thompson Breckin Morgan Eaden Southall Friio Pearch Commons Lester Taylor Team vs Woking Gerrard James Thompson Fernandez Vickerton Bopp Holt Gardner Bastians Dadi Weir-Daley It's not as if we were actually trying to win, was it?
-
It's like RRR is somehow channeling the spirit of Vince....
-
Fuck. Not that I'm too bothered, but it is the only domestic competition we've never won, so it would've been nice to complete the collection. Still, at least it let Holt come back from injury and give the kids and reserves a game. But losing from being 2-1 up at half time is annoying.
-
2-1 Forest! Spencer Weir-Daley gets the second, adding to Bopp's equilizer. 17 year old German left winger Felix Bastien seems to be pretty good from the radio guys, which will be handy when Commons goes.

The Radio Notts commentators are just completely taking the piss out of us being in it, which is quite amusing. They've just had a very funny discussion about what we're doing in the Southern section and they keep talking about "the glamour, the prestige, the vans, of the LDV". We've made ten changed to our team, and Woking are playing an under strength side too. I could be at Man U vs Lille tonight, but I turned down the ticket to listen to this. God I'm an idiot.
-
I still can't believe we're in the fucking LDV....

As much as I'd love to have GenNext in ROH, you can't have it without Jack Evans... and you knows it, maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!

That poster is soooooooooooooooo 1994....

You need a life, son. Seriously. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How anyone posting on a professional wrestling internet forum can say that to someone is beyond me

Last time I checked there was still a band called the Rolling Stones that were kicking around. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'd say the Beatles were/are bigger than the Stones, and a big part of that is the fact the Beatles split. The Stones only became the biggest band in world in 1970 because when the Beatles were about no one else stood a chance. Plus they've released nothing of worth for the last thirty years. They're a nostalgia band now, nothing more, nothing less.

U2 and Keane... it's like a nightmere I once had.
-
Radiohead and Coldplay? Coldplay is the next U2. Pleasantly bland. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My plan is to pretend that Coldplay don't exist, and then maybe, just maybe, one day I'll wake up and it'll be true. Plus they've only done two albums, I think, which I wouldn't class as being enough to really be up there with U2. I'll grant you Radiohead though.
-
They're definatly the biggest band in the world, I can't really see any argument against that, but there's not exactly much stern competition these days though. But they, and no one else, can touch the Beatles in terms of global "bigness".

Jim Ross possibly leaving RAW announce team
The Decemberists replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
Matthews/Cornette would rule all. -
I'd go see him, but I'd just leave pissed off if he didn't play all of Billion Dollar Babies. When my dad was a young hip teen, he had Alice Cooper written across his school bag, which, so the story goes, lead to my Gran constantly asking him when she was going to meet this Alice girl he liked so much...

But that's surely better than ending the first show with AJ, Joe and Aries, say, because casual WWE fans will actually know who they are. If it's Nash, Jarrett et al at the end of shows in six months, then we've got problems. As for the show I thought it was great. Not the greatest thing of all time, but miles more fun and exciting than any Raw's I've seen in a long, long time, which is what they need to be doing. I watched it with a mate today who'd never watched and TNA before, and after seeing the AJ match and the three way wanted to see more of those guys, and in longer matches. And would've been willing to pay for them. Which is the exact sort of reaction they need to be getting, isn't it? But the only reason I got him to agree to sit down and watch the show was because of Hardy, Rhino, Sabu, Nash and even Jeff Jarrett, although in Jeff's case to a lesser extent. That I would say would be a pretty average 'mark' fan perception.

Another win for the Reds today! That's five games unbeated, with 11 points from a possible 15 - that's promotion form, baby! Gaz Taylor scored the only goal soon after being brought on as a sub to a huge chorus from boo's from most of the knobhead fans. Sure enough they all cheered when he scored though...

Tranmere (h) Southend (a) Hartlepool (h) Yeovil (a) Part of me thinks they're all winnable, but if we keep playing as bad as last night then we could really struggle.
