Here's an update. Credit: Adrian Sainz (AP)

Count me in as another Benjaminite.

I don't see how a terrorist attack in your home country would cause you to capitulate to them instead of choosing to fight back, and no Spain did not capitulate: The previous government misled and outright lied to the electorate and that is why they are no longer in power. Democracy 101: When you piss off the voters, they tend to not vote for you.

I can't entirely fault him for wanting to try something he's always dreamed about, and it's basically now or never. Whether walking away from a multi-million dollar job where you're unhappy to pursue something that pays less but you really want is stupid or means you have a set of balls is a matter of opinion.

Drury>you if he can drive you to jabbing a fork in your eyes; of course a real man would forgo risking blindness and instead flirt with permanent psychological damage and read the posts. Pussies.

Hate to throw cold water on Benoit's victory but..
Highland replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in The WWE Folder
Benoit wins the world title and because it's not a decades old belt (though I do consider it part of the WCW title lineage) his victory over Triple H is meaningless? Christ. Arguing over the legitimacy of a title in a sport where champions are literally pre-determined is rather senseless. So Bischoff gave HHH the title, big deal, it was a perfectly acceptable act from one heel to another, and afterwards it has been defended and covetted, thereby raising it's prestige. I have to wonder, do we apply the same standard for the TNA world title as we apparently to for Raw, because I sure as fuck don't view it as the same belt held by Harley Race, Ric Flair and all the other NWA greats. -
I believe I posted earlier that the ETA was responible. I stand corrected on that detail.
-
The column also implies that if Bush is not re-elected then it's a victory for the terrorists.
-
So a nation that chooses to change it's government to one that isn't in lockstep with the Bush administration is suddenly a terrorist sympathizer? Spain is withdrawing it's troops from Iraq, I've read or heard nothing about it withdrawing it's support on the war on terror.
-
90% of the people in Spain opposed the war in Iraq, the Spanish government chose to ignore their electorate and paid the price for it as would any government that so blatantly ignored the people that elected them. The ETA (since an al-Qaeda connection is unconfirmed) bombing only served to drive more people to the polls, the fate of the previous government was never in doubt.

I could understand if the real reason for it was she wanted to donate her hair to a good cause, like leukemia patients.

An adult skeleton weighs about 23 lbs. and I am going to assume that this kid was so malnourished that his bones were brittle and underdeveloped, thus not weighing as much as they should. Even if the reputed weight turns out to be an embelishment by the local media, this bitch still deserves life in prison, or the chair. Her kids too.

Tom Green and Adam Sandler, though I admit I loved the Waterboy.
-
What sort of education does he have? And even if this isn't all a work I can't see him begging to come back if he really dislikes the business as we have heard him claim.

The Blues: When was the last time they missed the playoffs?

You're a Dennis Leary fan, aren't you?

Who was the lone Senator that obviously had the sense to see the dangers of this Act?
-
I was being sarcastic, but I was refering more to the colour bars used for terror alerts, and frankly I'm surprised it hasn't been changed to red just in time for the election, for the reasons I stated in my previous post.
-
The cynic in me is dismissing this as a campaign tactic to scare the American voters into re-electing Bush, since Republicans are seens to me more for national security than the Democrats are.

What took so long? -
Hardly banworthy, just put it in GC and next time give a source.

Notes from the Wrestlemania press conference
Highland replied to Kurt Angle Mark's topic in The WWE Folder
Prophecy, ladies and gentlemen. -
Also TBS is reportedly ungodly strong, same with Kane (who apparently can bend coins with this fingers). I'd say TBS or anyone else in the lockerroom can be beat with stick and jab moves, but once he got a hold on you, it'd be alll over.
-
I saw him wrestle during the 90's in the short-lived AWF and I assure you by the looks of him he wasn't on the roids. He even had a paunch.

ok that there destroyed any minute credibility that dirtsheet had with me, and this story as well. Sable and Brock? Surely a lie.
