I do not know if I am the only one, but sometimes when I make a post I hit the correct button, it goes back to the thread but my post is nowhere to be found. A bug?

Your obvious sarcasm aside, it is a good way to combat terrorism. Why fight alone when you can get allies to help you?

U.S. Rep. Corrine Brown: "all look alike to me"...
Highland replied to Downhome's topic in Current Events
She won't be fired, don't kid yourselves; everyone knows that minorities are never racist, and that whites can never be targets of discrimination. -
Where can you see lions?

Fucked up. -
Yes, hence the reason Storm hates the spot, it's completely senseless. The kind of name given to a talentless wrestler that receives pushes and always fumbles the ball, no matter how many times and how long he's been n the business. And no, Orton is not Test. Yet.

Usually the guy on the top rope is going for a double axehandle. It's an incredibly stupid spot, so much so that even Lance Storm bitches about it on his site, citing that the move is completely illogical.

I think Rock respects his culture more than his marketability. Kudos to him for keeping it real. Fuck Hollywood. Is there any place more shallow?
-
Thanks, I'll see if that works.

Well, Chretien letting one of his subordinates get away with calling the president a moron didn't help.

Yes, nice recovery saying it was all a swerve. We were all taken in by your guile.

Well, I saw Quest for Fire and there's a scene where one caveman gorilla presses a log and chucks it at like 2 or 3 people so my vote goes to him.

This is sad, Mole is owning you all and making you his bitches.

He's a moron for making valid points in his post?

"Assault Weapons" ban picks up GOP support
Highland replied to Jobber of the Week's topic in Current Events
If he's still here then why hasn't he been reported? Anyone, onto topic: Personally, I hate guns and I have no use for them except in home defense. I wouldn't hesitate to blow some burglar apart with a shotgun. The concealed weapons warding off a mugger argument is false, since more than likely he'll have a gun too, and already pointed at you. And picture this scenario: some guys walk into a bar, they have some drinks, they get into an arugment, they get into a fight. If I was at said bar I wouldn't want any of the patrons to be packing heat. -
I believe the theory of "silent majority" is used when anyone complains about the content of any show. Thus indeed one irate caller can bring down a popular show enjoyed by millions.

I see nothing wrong with a suspension, it's certainly better than a ban, especially for a relatively harmless post.

It's ridiculous: The same hippies that were crying for freedom of expression were trying to escape from the stiffling confines of the 50's have now become even more uptight and anal than those to whom they were opposed to back then. Someone I was talking to on AIM thought that this is mostly an election ploy to get people's minds off of more important issues like the economy. Maybe, maybe not. But the backlack from the Justin/Janet stunt is the worst threat to freedom of speech and expression that I can remember, and I thought the social attitude change in the wake of 9/11 was bad enough.

That's because Trish is actually in shape and she has the proper mindset and wants to improve. She's the exception, not the rule.

Hitler is viewed as being more evil than Stalin because the Nazis committed such crimes in a short span of time, but the Soviets under Stalin killed many times the amount of people than the Nazis did. The swastika, once an ancient symbol of good, has been corrupted to represent reprehensible evil: everyone knows what the swastika stands for today, the reason some people (like anti-globalisation protesters) wear the hammer and sickle is because they are morons, and think it is a sign of rebellion from the establishment and that it is a strike against globalisation.

Of course, Republicans would never have to worry about going bankrupt from a campaign since their supporters, corporate fat cats, will bail them out /Begala Seriously is this news because it is Dean? How many failed candidates from any party go into debt from running a political campaign?

We have it here too, it's called reverse discrimination, but the courts and tribunals that are supposed to protect our rights do not consider it discrimination if a member of a perceived majority (read: white male) is the one being discriminated against. I'm not surprised that it happens in America.
