I hate to say this, but I'm inclined to agree with 'Trane about Benoit. At least partly. Benoit's lack of mic skills is a liability and it might be enough for Vince to drop the ball with him. As was suggested before, they need to let him get rid of the cue cards and just be as intense as possible in his interviews: a cold, calm individual, but you can feel the burning rage just waiting to erupt at any moment, waiting to just snap and put someone, anyone, in the crossface.

It's not whether Morgon knows how to take a bump or not, it's that Holly is well known for trying to legitimately injure people. -
HHH in the crossface, desperately tapping out while a bloody Orton, Flair, Batista and HBK (you all know this swerve is comiing) all lay helpless and unable to do anything about it. Even better is this happening at WM.

Yeah, but alot of people feel DDP got such a big push in WCW because he was Bischoff's next door neightbour. Rico started in this business very late and taking that into consideration he's done a pretty good job of it.

Ernest Miller would be better, since nobody takes him seriouslly. At all. -
I second that. DM was horribly cheesey, but everything about it clicked. So many memorable lines.....

Isn't the "Cat" supposed to be a world champion martial artist? I would laugh my ass off if he just suddenly went loose on Holly, especially since it would be utterly humiiliating for him. -
He's also old, he's already in his 40's.

Has Orton ever had a match anywhere near as good as Jericho's best? I don't think Randy has gotten over **. Orton vs RVD was **1/2 in my book.
-
If you didn't notice I thought that he was improving and that he had heat but he blew it. I even point out a strength at the end. It's certainly not "OMG Orton sucks LOL" type material. That might work and would probably put him over. Actually they dropped the ball and could have made him to be stronger but he was only used to hype Foley's return. Of course god help us all if they actually try and turn him into an HBK-style face, because we'd never hear the end of the "OMG they're shoving him down our throats!" rants, even if he did by some miracle turn into the next bumper like HBK.

No, my point that HHHate and Orton bashing are over-done and we don't need entire threads devoted to them. It's just my opinion, take is as you will.
-
JR is very high on Rico for some reason, ever since his OVW days.
-
Wow another thread bashing Orton; how innovative. Orton sucks. We know. He lacks heat. We know. Christ.

It's the 'pay your dues' mentality that permieates the business. Mainly that newcomers need to get the shit beat out of them for them to learn their place. -

That is so true. I have to wonder how the fuck you can hurt someone so bad with a clothesline that they need to be carried out on a stretcher; and this isn't some rookie like John Heiden-whatever making a mistake, but a 10+yeard "veteran" I hope he gets some alone time in the shower with Bradshaw. -
I have one faint hope and that is this: That this will lead to being one undisputed champion, either Benoit or Lesnar. It doesn't matter what brand the champion belongs to, he'll be the champion of both brands, would appear on both brands (but not all the time) and would defend his titles at the PPVs. I know they tried this with Jericho, but frankly I think this scenario couild work now, especially with someone like Benoit or Lesnar. Or my hopes could be dashed and Benoit will be starting at the ceiling at WMXX.

Even when he's not on the show, Taker manages to hold down the talent. -
Victoria's widow's peak is painful and effective, the kind of move where if she fucks it up she could seriously hurt someone. Which of course makes it cool. Brock's leg submission is by far the most realistically painful move I've seen, but it's not his primary finisher so I put the WP about it.

Yes, because Benoit voluntarily jumped ship to wwe long before it was bought out. I also don't feel the anti-wcw argument holds much water anymore, because Vince gave Goldberg the title and Goldberg is definately more wcw than Benoit.
-
Maybe Goldberg will do a Nathan Jones and just walk away, forcing Vince to change these rumour WM plans for Benoit, HHH and Lesnar?
-
Good news, and I'd say the same no matter who was involved. I wouldn't wish a Sid on anyone.
