Smackdown Crew Happy About Iraq and other WWE news
Highland replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
Is there anything Jericho does/can not do? -
Use Scream or Cheer Up every chance you get, having a permanent 97 brave rating is always a good thing. /ends gamefaqish behaviour.

Ironic that Bush owes bin Laden for his potential second term in office, since if it wasn't for 9/11, this would be a mediocre and forgetable presidency.
-
It doesn't, I only had a WM to master it for the Calculator class, and after mastering that changing to a quicker class. Learn auto-potion, it's your best friend.

FFT also has one of the best VG soundtracks, IMO.
-
I have both, though I only got FFTA a few days ago so I'm still playing it. FFT is my favourite game in my library, next to Xenogears and oh yes, Sakura: Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Get used to being played like a puppet by Delita. At the end of it, you'll scream because you don't get to kill him.

That is unfair comparison. Austin is a great wrestler, he always make his opponents look good.Hardcore Holly always tried to make those he thinks " green rookies who didn't pay their dues" look like shit on TV and doesn't cooperate with them at all. With Brock, Holly sandbagged the wrong person. He was trying to show Brock up, and paid the price. I really don't give much credence to 'paying your dues' by struggling for years through the indies. The fact is, if 99% of the wrestlers today were given the opportunity from TE when they were just getting started in the business they'd take it. The indies are full of people that will never make the big time, and it's not based on lack of talent, but simply being at the right place at the right time.

I think it has more to do with the fact that such stereotypes have always been used by promoters and we'd like to see a change from the norm, that's all.
-
I agree wholeheartedly.

You nearly convince me with your arguments until you shoot yourself in the foot with assinine comments like the one you just made.

From reading these posts I can see why Condit wants to sue, especially if the posts are indicative of public opinion. The fact is, the media all but outright (and in some cases actually did) accuse Condit of being involved in Levy's murder even though he was never considered a suspect by the police. He definately made a mistake in not revealing himself that he was banging his intern (and I don't buy the nonsense the Levy was some innocent child, she was an adult and there are FAR more worthy missing person cases [like looking for actual CHILDREN]) so when it was found out, the court of public opinion found him guilty. I hated this story when it first came out, one could swear she was the only person to be missing when there are hundreds of thousands of cases where the media doesn't give a flying fuck about them because none of them are involved with an obscure congressman from California.

I was wondering if the mods should start deleting threads which a banned poster started and was banned in that thread? I think it would go a long way in cutting off the attention they crave. Thoughts? ps. What is the code button used for? What are example of its use?

RD Reynolds believes Dupree will be a huge star, and I give his opinion more credibility than I would JR's or anyone else in the front office.

I read Shonen Jump, I like it, but I'd never call myself an otaku or anything like that.

He's right. Saddam isn't the mastermind behind terrorists, they still threaten the US and its allies; also I'm pleased to see that Dean is willing to stick to his beliefs: He opposed the war before it was declared and he still opposes it even after Saddam's capture.

Camp X-Ray guests should get U.S. court access
Highland replied to kkktookmybabyaway's topic in Current Events
At least they are attempting to place a check on the Executive branch. The people in Camp Xray are terrorists, but this policy of denying legal council and using a legal loophole to hold them indefinately without trial is a slippery slope that can very easily be applied to anyone and anywhere. Even you. -
Hennig should be on, Owen should not be. Sorry, but I think Owen's death causes alot of us to overhype his career.

LaParkaMarka is absolutely correct, but the Canadian patriot in me compels me to celebrate along with Fook and RRR
-
I just use the Atma weapon as an item on Kefka to kill him. Meh.
-
Actually both are correct, as verified here

I wonder if I even qualify for warrior status.

This all could turn out to be good for us, especially if their growing hatred for eachother leads to more great matches for our smarkness pleasure.

WWE plans "Escape the Rules" ad campaign
Highland replied to DerangedHermit's topic in The WWE Folder
They're doing it to promote a rebel image that's against the establisment. Hey if it works for Dean then maybe Vince figures it'll work for him to? -
No, SSCA should not get his win back over the Rock or anyone else for that matter.
-
He won't.
