That might be relevant if anyone had made that argument in this thread. Your opening post implied, if not so much as said, that Islam has to go in the Middle East before the terrorist will be stopped. It sounded rather Ann Coulter-ish to me.

The internet, plus the rumours and up-to-date news about the business really prevent the return of the pure kayfabe era.

In that case I believe it is more a point that democracy must be brought in so Islam can evolve. There's no way Christianity will replace Islam in the Middle East any more than it would be popular in the US outside of Michigan. Christianity didn't so much make democracy for the better as democracy and the rights therein made Christianity better than it was before democracy.
-
Christrian tyranny can be every bit as deadly as Islamic terrorism, so I completely dismiss the argument that converting the Middle East to Christianity will somehow solve its problems. Bringing capitalism and democracy, however, will go a long way to breaking the hold the terrorist have in those lands and over those people.

Vintage Jericho. Though I think his best heel promo in was during WCW's first Nitro in Toronto.

I'd love to see Team Hoss give Holly a doomsday device followed by a spike piledriver, but I know that won't ever happen.

Isn't it ironic or somehow fitting that Nowinski lost to Maven on TE, but is widely considered to be the more talented of the two. I hope he comes back soon, I've always been a Nowinski mark, and yes he'd do good with Evolution, but wwe will stick him in a useless fued with Maven. Again.

Army man gets sick at sight of corpse
Highland replied to Jobber of the Week's topic in Current Events
It sounds to me he's being made an example of to the other soldiers. -
I'm not lowering myself, it was a joke and I really hope that is all it was taken as. I post on your board too, and so far I like it.

It's called shell shock, and while he's suffering from it he's a danger to his fellow soldiers. The article is obviously not telling the whole story, mainly what the misconduct was. I really doubt that having the shakes, getting sick and having nightmares is "misconduct", but then I could be wrong. -
I'm myself. I'm not a previously banned or alt poster, if that's what you mean....actually I'm really Father Naibus, and the UGS are my altar boys.

sorry, I'm not in the priesthood.

I have to agree. There's worse trolling and flamebaiting going on than wishing someone would die. I'd rather be told to die than be called a fag or a pedophile. Hypocrites. ....fag. Troll.

This case is getting the exposure it is only because the victim looks cute. That's it.

It's my understading that Stevie Richards was already hurt, and Heidenreich's (sp?) move only served to aggravate the injury. Injuring someone so early in his career is definately a big strike against him, but I'll adopt the hated wait and see approach with him, before calling him down as a dangerous worker who causes injury, and I don't mean stiff like RVD, I mean seriously hurting people. As for the infamous "hoss hate": I find some of it justified, but some of it unfair and unrealistic as well. It sounds like we'd like Albert or TBS to pull of a hurracanrana, or whatever, but it ain't happening. I also dismiss the argument that they all have the exact same moveset. I disagree; Test, Albert, and TBS each have different movesets, and so does the Undertaker, who IS a hoss, despite the iwc's newfound love for him.

OMG! He made a rookie mistake and hurt someone, something that unfortunately happens sometimes! /end sarcasm so....when do we start hating the guy, instead of just being largely indifferent?

Almost every fable, aspect and story of the Judeo-Christian mythos have been usurped or derived from other mythologies. This is nothing new and certainly not exclusive to this religion. Every single religion has taken it's ideas from others and changed them to their own. However, the Romans were a largely military and secular society, they gave little more than lip services to their gods; also they kept meticulous census records. There are records of Jesus of Nazareth's life, and before anyone repeats the 'How do you know he existed at all? He supposedly lived over 2000 years ago!" I'll just point to the ancient Egyptians. Ramses II lived many millenia before Christ, yet no one doubts he existed.....or do you?
-
Jesus the man did exist, whether or not he was the Messiah depends on your religious faith or lack thereof.

I think the Nathan Jones comment is sig worthy.

Yes normally I would consider this fluff, but the larger issue is the violation of this girl's right to free speech and expression, which to me is not fluff.

Cena will be a world champion someday, Benoit might, you never know, but RVD won't. He's an arrogant prick backstage, and it's probably a big reason why he's "held down"

Who cares who's on them or not? Would it affect any of us if we found out one of our favourites is taking them? I doubt it.

They're still not, unfortunately.
