If they did this, they'd charge a shitload for these custom-made DVD's. They won't be cheap and I'd expect to pay at least $100 per set. Great idea in theory but I doubt it's viable in practice.

That does sound like an interesting angle, but unfortunately it will not work for the simple fact nearly everyone has been conditioned to cheer Austin regardless of what he does. He would have to shoot on her before the fans would even think of turning on him and even then he'd have half of them supporting him. I really do hope the Jericho's current storyline plays out, since it seems to be the first time in years that the writers have actually planned out anything long term, though if that is more because Jericho knows how to carry the writing team or the writers have suddenly experienced a momentary flash of brilliance...bleh, I'll go with Jericho carries them.

Is something like this even new? Whether or not it's propaganda, I'm sure similar letters have been sent and published in previous wars by many sides. I'm only guessing, but it would make sense in order to keep homeland morale up.

Ouch.

It will either suck balls or be funny. My pessimism tells me it will suck balls.

Sadly, that is probably exactly how it will end.

He's a McMahon. He's far above mere mortals like Jericho, Christain, Kane, Booker, Bubba, Spike, Devon, Storm, Cade, Grenier, Flair, Orton......(goes on and on)

JR's constant hypocracy regarding SCSA is probably the biggest thing I hate about Raw, and wwe in general. The part about when Lita would do a run in, and then when the heels get back at her and he'd 'Damn them straight to hell!" is a close second. I thought JR's job was to elevate and put over the talent? But so long as he gives verbal blowjobs to Austin and excuses his every action (actions which if taken by anyone else would have him screaming in outrage) anyone that is facing Austin will never be given credibility, much less be put over. *thinks back* hmm not my best post, but I hope I got my point across.

It's long past time the actually younger talent got pushed. The same people that bitch about people like HHH and UT holding people down and how Vince needs to elevate new talent are the same people that bitch whenever someone totally new comes in and even sniffs the upper midcard/main event.

*does spit-take* Sweet Jesus I'd sig that if I didn't have this MMA Gimmick. Ok then I will

- Bret Hart did a radio interview in Toronto and said: "What could you possibly see in Ric Flair? I mean this. This is the truth. Ric Flair was the most overrated wrestler there ever was. If you've seen Ric Flair wrestle once, you've seen him wrestle a million times. He's the most uncreative, unimaginative wrestler there ever was. He was the pits. You don't know anything about wrestling if you think Ric Flair is the greatest wrestler. (Wrestling) Ric Flair was the biggest letdown of my entire career. On a scale of one-to-ten, I'd rate Ric Flair about a three. He sucks." Is this Bret kayfaybing? I agree that Flair's over rated, but I wouldn't say he sucks.

I agree. What were they thinking?

Xenogears, followed very closely by FF Tactics. The FF series is good too.

The Riddler? I'm impressed. And it's about time one of Batman's foes figured out his identity; none of them are stupid, which is probably what makes them so appealing.

Bah. Jarlaxle and Artemis Entreri were the best villains Salvatore ever wrote about. Jarlaxle. Hands down. He's a villian with the 'hero clause' (he aliways wins or at least gets his way.)

I have the book The Complete Works of Sherlock Holmes and I enjoy it. I pretty much agree about the ASiS part (it's boring), but most of the other stories are very good. I also really liked how ACD may have felt that organized crime was alive and well in Victorian England, with his introduction of Moriarty.

Seeing that picture of the Big Show makes me glad I didn't watch wrestling. Oh, and I thought Paul Wight (sp?) was a friend of Vince? With a friend that continually tries to destroy careers, who needs enemies? Seriously, this was the last thing TBS needed to have happen to him. I had really hoped he had moved beyond lame ass gimmicks. He's supposed to be a monster, just rename him as the Giant and pattern him after Andre. Bah!

I read a while back on one the forums at stormwrestling. Basically the question was does he prefer to be called Storm or Evers when greeted in public, and he said Storm, since that is his ring name, and calling him by his real name implies they know him personally. The other wrestlers probably feel the same way.

If there is a god, this movie follows the attitude of the comics and not the other movies.

When Castro goes, the power of Cuban exile self interests and the politicians they elect go with them. Same as if Cuba becomes a democracy and can no longer be hyped as a 'threat' to the US. Seriously, if any President considered Castro or Cuba a thread, it'd be an American colony by now.

I don't know, Bin Laden's supposed to have luekemia (sp?) and he's still hiding somewhere in Pakistan so I wouldn't hope on cancer doing in someone like Arafat. Terrorists are like cockroaches, you just can't get rid of them.

Hmm ok I'm not refering to Vince's character on the shows, but Vince the businessman. Many people (mainly those no longer in his employ) gripe about him, and so does the irc (I'm amongst those gripers). BUT, the biggest gripe I do not like is "His daddy gave him the business" No, daddy gave him the business, but it was Vince jr. that turned it into business (successful or otherwise) that it is today. Basically what I want to ask, and if this is the wrong forum for this then I apologize, is did Vince Sr. make a mistake when he gave the business to his son?

If the concern is about protecting the necks of the workers, and I can see it due to all the neck injuries that put them out for about a year, then they should ban the Pedigree. You can do it, Vince, don't be afraid. You have our support.

(CNN) -- The FBI planted an electronic bugging device in Philadelphia Mayor John Street's office, a senior federal government source and two law enforcement sources told CNN Wednesday. But the FBI disputed the report. "We have not confirmed that at all," said FBI Special Agent Linda Vizi. "When the bug was found, we were made aware of it, and we will proceed from there." The sources would not say whether Street is the target of a public corruption investigation, which the sources told CNN is going on in Philadelphia. Street has said he doesn't know why the device was placed in his office or who put it there. It was found Tuesday during a routine security sweep by Philadelphia police, and the FBI was called in to investigate. Street told reporters Tuesday that he was not involved in any activities that he knew to be under investigation. "I have done nothing wrong," Street said. Street, a Democrat, is campaigning for re-election November 4 in a close race against Republican Sam Katz, whom he beat four years ago in a close race. credit: CNN
