I don't think anybody realized you actually typed it. I always assumed that you just copy/pasted it somehow. It's not like it's all that interesting anyway though, so if you don't want to post it, it's fine.

I had this shitty, slow pop-up ridden site I used to post at, and then I saw that this site worked fairly well, and got a lot of traffic, so I signed up. I posted all the time, for a few months, then I got bored with wrestling, and hardly posted at all for a year. This fall, I started posting all the time in Sports during college football season, and now I'm at the point where I waste way too much fucking time on here. I think how much I've been posting the last few months reflects directly on my life being too boring and empty right now.

Back on Mallachy's prophecy, I think it's that this is the one with the short reign, and then the next pope is the anti-Christ. So, things should be getting interesting shortly.

Losing a slutty pig like Lita isn't that big of a deal, he'll get over it. But losing a job with the only major wrestling company in North America? That's a little harder to bounce back from.

Batista definitely doesn't need a manager. If you remember, he actually got over on his charisma more than anything else. All they need to do is find a couple clever things for him to say every week or two, and they'll be fine. Actually, I'm guessing that tonight's MSG Raw popped the biggest rating they've had in a long time.

Oh quit siding with Edge and Lita to be cool. Lita's a dumb cunt who deserves everything she gets. Edge entertains me personally in the ring, so he gets a little bit of a pass, but as far as I'm concerned, Lita can get the slut chants until the day she dies. And if anyone else wants to post their stuff on the internet, I'll be glad to read it. I mean if I've read what 50 different TSM posters think about the situation, I'm certainly going to want to see what Edge's wife has to say. If it gets out publicly that you've got cheated on to the point where millions of people know about it, you're more than justified in making a statement.

The HHH/JR match was all right in theory, but it was waaay too slow, and they really didn't execute it well at all. I think they didn't want to do too much with the Batista confrontation because HHH is still hurt, but if HHH wasn't sitting around doing nothing with JR for 20 minutes like it was a WCW match, they might have at least been able to build up a little drama.

If you're point is that HHH sells too much for random people, I've been on that bandwagon for years now. That's why I think he needs to makeover his character a little bit, turn on Flair, and then do the badass thing for a while

I just don't really know if jobbing to Tajiri and Regal was the best way to introduce them. I mean, you've got the established champions issuing an open challenge, and then winning clean over the rookies. I don't really see how that leads into a hot feud.

Well, I'm just watching the show right now, but that segment with Trish and Lita was awesome. In addition to the slut chants, I distinctly heard "you fucked Edge", "you screwed Matt", and "you fucked Matt". Lita got exactly what she fucking deserved tonight. My favorite part was when Trish kept acknowledging that Lita was the one they were chanting slut at. And is it just me or is Viscera an over midcarder.... on Raw! I really like the way the show's heading right now.

Actually, technically, I'm guessing it's one of the Royal Rumble matches. I think some of those have clocked in at a little over 65 minutes. For singles matches, yeah it's Shawn and Bret.

God. Can you imagine John Madden, Chris Berman, and Stuart Scott doing Monday night football? I'd watch just for the 80% chance that the earth would open up and Satan would swallow the field whole.

Actually, not only did I love the Mr. Ass gimmick, I also thought that Billy and Chuck were the last great tag team in the WWE. I'm kind of surprised that they never got a real push for Billy Gunn when he came back the last time, as he obviously could get over pretty well in the midcard. If anything, Billy Gunn kind of reminds me of Christian if things had gone a little differently. He doesn't have the offense to do well as a singles wrestler unless he's really protected, but he can play a good charcter and he always does well as a tag team wrestler. What ended up killing Billy Gunn is that he came back when Smackdown was in its absolute in-ring prime, and they just threw him out there for random matches with no build. You can't just call someone a face and expect them to get over with no character when their in-ring work is their weakest attribute.

The religion doesn't have to play directly into his gimmick. He can just be a bossy prick who goes around and tells everybody what to do because he thinks he's such a legend. I'm sure that the too good to swear, etc., could fit his character just fine without actually cheapening his faith. I can buy the argument that he just doesn't want to turn heel though. That makes a lot more sense than the ideas that turning him heel "wouldn't work" or that he "refuses to put people over."

Whatever. Big Show got on the card, and it didn't take very long. I don't really see what the problem is.

Actually, if you really want to use the game analogy, then the WWF "won" when they bought WCW. On the "winning" team, Austin and Rock were the two leading scorers, and HHH was probably the third-leading scorer. When business hit its "down cycle" was actually during the period HHH was injured when they botched the invasion. If you look at the ratings for Raw, they're almost exactly the same right now as they were right before HHH came back. Smackdown's ratings have gone down, but I don't really see how you can blame that on HHH, since he doesn't even appear there.

I guess my thinking on the subject's just kind of egocentric. I just figured that since I have no interest in the main site any more that probably no one else does either. Well, that and the fact that there are about four articles posted there a week. It just seems a little farfetched though for someone to sign up for the forums just because of an occasional mention from the main site though. Maybe if they were pimping it harder it would make more sense. I'm not denying it happens, but I personally can't imagine signing up for a message board without reading through it to see if it was worth my time.
