Update On Status Of TNA Video Game
J. Hungerford Smith replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in TNA Wrestling
Slap Disco's face on the cover and it's sure to be a hit -
That immediately reminds me of HHH vs. TAKA. That was a hell of a match. That match was in 2000, when Russo was in WCW (or was gone from WCW before he came back, can't remember which). But I do agree that Russo's midcarders were at least given direction, which is pretty much the only good thing I'll ever say about him. Jason Yeah...but I just read the "anyone in a title match" thing....nevermind.

Goldberg? Put over Jericho? As much as ol' Y2 deserves it, it ain't gonna happen. -

True, I forgot about the US Title. Although it seems Cena is even above that now. How many times has Big Show defended that fucker anyways...? -

The Bret thing would be truly awesome, but I dunno. I still think we're getting Cena/Lesnar at WM. As retarded as that is. -

Benoit lost to Brock Lesnar. I don't care what Lesnar's intent was, he still beat him. It would be correct to say that "Benoit didn't give up." He still lost though. The bell rung and Brock was announced as the winner. Therefore, Benoit lost. -

Because that F-5 was more death than a usual F-5 and it really made Brock look bad by not getting the win from it, from where I sit. He also had to wait to get a count, and got a very slow one at that. And Benoit still only escaped at 2.99. Yes, but let's not forget the huge delayed count between HHH and Booker T at XIX. -

No way. Jericho/Michaels > this. Shut up. I am about the biggest mark of that Match and those two wrestlers but in a straight up match...Benoit/Lesnar would easily beat HBK/Jericho. This match was BY FAR a better TV match. The PPV match would be BY FAR better then the WMXIX match. Yeah. It was SO much better. Because they've NEVER done the "pass out from the pain" thing before. It might have worked with Austin and Bret but not from this. Benoit should have been pinned after that F-5 because it was like the sickest looking F-5 yet. -

Eh...I don't see what you're all raving about. It wasn't that great. -
I hope it's just HHH squashing someone.

I have no problem with how the board is run, just this particular banning.
-
For some reason he's been granted the proverbial "go apeshit" card. Supposedly he helped out Dames with something concerning the board, so he can do whatever the hell he wants. Yeah, I heard. But it still totally nullifies whatever that Bob guy posted.
-
I guess I better not gamble with the devil next time
-
I designed the Smarkzone's HTML for him. Are you going to ban me for that? Seriously. I'll laugh real hard if tomorrow I check this site and find that I'm banned, because it will just prove that the mods here are corrupt and ban people just because they go against the general consensus' opinion.

People said there would be terrible computer glitches at Y2K and even that the world would end.
-
OR, the guy, Angle, could just refuse to take the chair shot while their planning the match out. I mean, they have a good 8 hours to think these things up before TV. What's the point of refusal? The spot can still look convincing even if the chairshot is light, at least lighter than Lesnar's anyways. I guess he took that one that Jeff Hardy gave him a few weeks after his debut to heart.

Has anyone seen the Matt facts in the Smackdown game? Some of them are just gramatically awful. If I recall this one correctly: "Matt survived superstar in the Rumble" There was another one that was screwed up about how many Wrestlemanias he's been in.

No mention of CRASH on RAW tonight?
J. Hungerford Smith replied to BifEverchad's topic in The WWE Folder
I don't understand why McMahon is blamed for that. Owen had successfully come down from the ceiling before, so it's not like it was a new stunt or anything. Unfortunately, it screwed up once and cost him his life. I remember being in attendance once when he did it, at Survivor Series: Deadly Game, he tried to come from the ceiling on Heat to get Steve Blackman, but they gimmicked it so he would get stuck and thus Blackman could attack him. -
I have a great idea. Send them back to OVW. Better yet, release them. Because they suck and get no heat. Fair enough?
-
Agreed. And even if he wouldn't have joined them, I think it was better that that happened anyways. That was the point of the show, to have him run in and whoop all ass and solidify his spot on the WWF side. Vince needed the "OLD" Austin to return, and the old Austin rampaged people with Stunners and chairs.
