Interesting note: I viewed the trailer on Marvel.com, and it was placed under a little blurb. In that blurb, they indicated that Emma Frost was in it (probably a cameo of her younger self; I spotted a young Storm as well). That could potentially set her up as a future villian.

I thought it looked fine, but I don't have a high-quality tv or dvd player, so I'm not the best judge.

I think it was more NBC not wanting to loose a proven ratings draw, but I agree Conan is getting screwed. I have to ask, though- is there any name value left for 'The Tonight Show'?

I downloaded it, but have yet to watch it. I found it funny that people were comparing ti to Harry Potter as well. At least with Harry Potter, I actually remember hearing of the books when they first started coming out. I didn't hear anything about Twilight untill a few months before the fourth book came out this summer.

The Blue Ray disc also includes: Batman Tech - the incredible gadgets and tools Batman Unmasked: The Psychology of the Dark Knight - delve into the psyche of Bruce Wayne and the world of Batman througn real-world psychology. These two specials were on the History Channel when TDK first came out, and were pretty interesting. I was looking forward to getting these with the normal version... silly me.

is the digital copy iPod compatible? Yup. That's a plus, but at the same time I could have bought the one disc version, then ripped the movie to my iPod.

Twilight was odd in that the first trailers were geared towards marketing it as a romantic movie, while more recent commercials marketed it as an action movie. Don't feel bad about not knowing what it is Rocket, up until four months ago I had no idea what it was either- and they're calling the book series it's based off the next Harry Potter.

Picked up the 2 disc special edition, and I must say I am not impressed. 2 Featuretts, Gotham Tonight news blurgs, and all of the IMAX-filmed scenes presented in their correct display ratio, trailers, a free digital copy- and that's it. I remember reading that there were going to be a bunch more special features, and for twenty bucks... I'm seriously thinking about exchanging this for the one disc edition.

I really liked the Thomas Jane Punisher. I liked how it was more of a drama than a straight-out action movie, despite the source material being straight-out action. This one just looked like a bunch of gratuitous action scenes spliced together into one crapy movie.

I'm thinking Broward meant the second part of that. Yes, in the Ultimate Universe, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch were getting it on.

Secret Invasion has been concluded.

So, I just put Secret Invasion 8 up in the Comic Request thread (it's on page 2) so go read that before you read this. SPOILERS!!!! So the invasion is over, Janet is dead, Stark is persona non grata, and everyone who had been impersonated is still alive- EVERYONE. So not only do we get Mockingbird back, but if you remember the fight in the Savage Land- it's now confimed that yes, Jean Grey lives again. And again. And again. And again. Sorry, couldn't resist. This is actually an exciting direction they are going in now. Stark is out, both due to the Skrull invasion and his own actions during the Civil War; and Norman Osborn is in as the new head of EVERYTHING. And who were the two people he met with on the far right in that last pannel? And when did White Queen go evil again? Janet is dead, so that should give us some good story material for poor Hank. Fury is on the run again apparently. And Luke CAge and Jewl's baby is now MIA, so I wonder if that will be the next arc of the New Avengers. I must say, I haven't been this excited about the direction of the Marvel universe in a while (I pretty much went exclusive DC during that whole Brand New Day crap). Thoughts?

Sadly, I can't even really comment since I mostly read the older books I find. But I do want to add my two sense: Worst Writer: Joss Whedon for beeing constantly and consistently late on ALL of his books.
