If any of you care, Nick Fury: Agent of SHIELD is on the SciFi channel (starring David Hasselhoff). Anybody remember this classic turkey, and if so what are your thoughts? Personally, I liked it due to it's sheer campiness.

I think I speak for 80% of us when I say "Shut up and stop whining like a little girl." Thank you. And like 80% you are probably American, and piss and moan whenever anyone critiscises your country, or god forbid, refuse to bow down to the stars and stripes. Like hell. I'm American, and I openly criticise my country, hate my president, and so forth. You simple are making a big deal out of nothing more than attempt to get some cheap heat.

I loved Caleb but I think it was a good way to show just how powerful the Scythe<sp?> was. The Scythe was a huge-ass cop-out. As was the "everyone is a Slayer" thing. Those pissed me off so much. It should have been the Scoobies just hwooping ass, none of this "magic sword we learn about 4 eps from the end and wasn't anywhere near a factor for 7 years". Yeah, it was a cop out. but I was more insulted by the idea that SITs were dusting Ubers left and right like it was no deal. Yet the first one kicked BUffy's ass major. Let's see...Buffy, 8 years or so a Slayer (figure about how long before the show began)...Great power, tons of training. SITs...Slayer powers for about 11 seconds...couple weeks of training WITHOUT SLAYER POWERS. Now why did Buffy get her ass kicked and these nobodies just smackdown like pros? That part buged me more the anything else. I'm thinking that, in regards to Buffy dusting the ubervamp... When she first tried to stake it, she staked it like a normal vamp- she didn't put much force behind the stake. As a result, it didn't penetrate the super-hard sternum. When she went to fight them again, she knew that she had to put more force behind the stake, and thus was able to penetrate the sternum and kill the vamp. She would have passed this knowledge onto the SIT's. Also, maybe since the SIT's were activated through the scythe the powere they got was more than Buffy and Faith's, i.e. they were more powerfull slayers, or they gained more inherint fighting ability or what have you. Of course, that'sw just my two scents. Oh, and didn't somebody say that the scyth was brought up in the Fray comic book?

I thought people generally hated the Pylea episodes.

On that note, I was up at our new mall in St. Louis the other day, and while waiting in line to exchange something, I see this 7 or 8 year old girl talking on her new flip-top cell phone with the color screen and such. And All I can think of is "Not only does this little kid have a cell phone, she has a better one than me." How fucking sad is that?

It was better than "Beer bad". Plus, Dawn as a cheerleader. Oh, and Buffy busts out the bazooka one more time.

Xander said that line, not Buffy. Suprised nobody else caught that And I think you could consider "End of Days" and "Chosen" to be the big two-hour finale. It's just taht it was aired seperately, instead of back-to-back. And I LONG for season 7 on dvd. The commentaries and possible deleted scenes will be well worth the price.

I'd watch that. Can you imagine Foley and Snow in Miami Vice outfits? I'd rather not Can't wait to see Jake Cage make an appearance!

Buffy season 5 Angel season's 1 and 2 Alias season 2 Pirates of the Caribbean Firefly (I figure I'll give it a try) Indianan Jones set Alien Quadrilaty or whatever it's called I'm sure there are more, but IO can't think of any at the moment.

I look at Will as the "next" Chevy Chase. So you're predicting his career will bomb after a few more years, but he'll still have a group of loyal fans? I'd agree with that sentiment.

When did Big Show use a wheelbarrow suplex? He used it a while ago, like rigth after he came back. He used it before or during his use of the Final cut. And it looke more like a powerbomb into a reverse electric chair drop almost, since it was done the same way he does everything else- slowly;)

I like to hear that there was a hot crowd. Goldberg-Kane would have had a chance to do a high buyrate just cause it's a very marketable match. Throwing Trips in the mix makes no sense whatsoever to me. it's because the Kane-Goldberg match will draw, so Trips want's to be put in and take all of the credit.
